Chapters. 55. For Answering Salam.
Yara gasped in shock when she heard Ryder's words, she immediately looked at the man intently as if she wanted to shoot lasers from both eyes.
"I sleep in bed, and you can sleep on the couch."
Getting a sharp and piercing gaze, of course, makes Ryder immediately explain the meaning of his words. Although actually what he meant by sleeping together was something that was done in bed.
Yara sighed for a moment, then walked towards the sofa to pick up her bag. "I've called your parents, maybe they'll be here soon."
Ryder blinks her lips. Rather than being accompanied by her chatty mother, she would rather be alone in the room.
"But I'm really serious. Maybe tonight I'll get sick again."
Ryder is still trying to ask that Yara stay with her, counting as a chattermate and also approach.
Yara just shut up while taking her phone from the bag, she then typed something on the phone to make Ryder's phone ring.
Ryder quickly picks up her phone, and scrunches her forehead when an unknown number is on the phone.
"That's my phone number, just call me if you feel sick."
Ryder immediately looked at Yara in disbelief, apparently the woman moved quickly by getting her mobile number.
"Can I call anytime?" ryder asks while keeping Yara's number with the name of Doctor Love.
Yara just nodded to say what Ryder said. He could have stayed there, but there was something important to do tonight.
Not long after, Adena and Eric came into the room. Yara immediately bothered to return home, and not forgetting to cross the hands of Ryder's parents made their hearts feel touched.
"Look, someone else's son is so polite that he's crucifying our hands. But look at our own son. Let alone to overcrowd a hand, for a smile only he never did," Eric quipped as Yara had already left the place.
Adena nodded her head. "really. Look at her face, it's obvious that she doesn't like us here."
Ryder who heard the insinuations from both her parents could only sigh harshly. See, which kid lives with a parent like them? And yet, he himself did not know.
After leaving the hospital, Yara immediately returned home in a taxi. He did not bring a car because it was delivered by the papa this morning.
A little while later, Yara had reached her destination and immediately entered the house. It was seen that all the families were sitting in the television room, and it seemed like they were all welcoming his return.
Yara immediately crucified the hands of the old men, and sat down to join them. Then Via asked about his work today, and of course he immediately told him everything.
After spending half an hour together with the family, Yara immediately decided to go to her room. He immediately went inside the bathroom to clean himself, after he finished lying on the bed while staring at the ceiling of the room.
Yara's thoughts suddenly turned to Aidan, because this afternoon she had received news from one of her friends if her ex-husband was threatened with being fired from the company.
"What actually happened to him, why was his job destroyed like that?"
Yara gave a rough breath. Somehow he felt worried, especially when remembering the report from his housekeeper if Aidan had come to their old house.
Unwilling to get late, Yara chooses to make a report about Ryder's health. At the moment he has to focus on taking care of the man, so that everything is done quickly and can return to London.
"Ryder?"
Yara immediately raised the call from the man with worry. "Assalamu'alaikum, Ryder. Are you all right?"
Ryder on the phone smiled. "Wa-wa'alaikum sallam." I don't know when was the last time he said hello, so it felt so stiff.
Eric and Adena, who were sitting on the sofa, looked straight at the bed when they heard their son say hello.
"Did you not hear wrong?"
Adena shook her head. "No, Pa. My mom heard it too. Right, what'd you say if Ryder had a handler?"
Eric nodded immediately. Is it true that Ryder has got a handler in the form of Yara? If all that was true, then he would bow down in gratitude because the son was given a kind woman and good manners.
"Are you okay?"
Ryder flinched from the daydream. "Y-yeah, I'm fine."
"Then why call me?" Yara was astonished.
"Huh? I-I mean I'm not okay. I'm in pain right now."
Ryder immediately cursed at her own words. Because he answered the greeting, suddenly his head was empty so that he could not speak properly and correctly.
"Si*dance. Tomorrow I won't answer his greetings."
Ryder gets upset on her own, while Yara, hearing Ryder's words, asks where the man feels pain.
"I'm sick anyway, so you should come right away."
Ryder instantly turns off her phone without waiting for a reply from Yara, and of course makes the woman become upset.
Intentions want to ask what Yara is doing, instead ending up pretending to be sick. It was so annoying that Ryder rubbed her face several times.
"Look at your son, it looks like he's really gone crazy. Papa's sure he's done calling Yara."
Adena nodded immediately. "Yes, Pa. Looks like papa should tell this to Mr. Vano immediately, if we can just marry them."
