Chapters. 77. Uncovering the Dark Activities of the Company.
Eric could only remain silent with his head bowed when he heard Mahen's words. True, he and his family were not grateful for being helped but instead behaved insolently.
"Once again I apologize profusely to you, Sir. I'm so sorry about what Ryder did, I promised to teach her a lesson" Eric said.
Mahen let out a rough breath. Free too he vented all the anger on Eric who actually also knew nothing.
"All right, I just want to say that. I hope your son doesn't bother my son anymore, because my son has already suffered so much because of a man."
Mahen Lirih's voice sounded. There was a tremor in every word he said, as it was clear what had happened to his daughter. After Aidan, now Ryder is scratching Yara's heart.
"I understand, Sir. Please apologize to Miss Yara, I really feel very guilty," Eric replied as he stared bitterly and regretfully at Mahen.
Mahan then immediately withdrew from the place and returned to the company. Although he did not meet Ryder directly, but his heart was quite satisfied to get everything out to Eric.
"Sorry, Sir."
Eric turned his face back when he heard someone's voice. "Where is he?" He looked at his secretary sharply.
"Mr Ryder isn't in her room, sir. Niko says if he left 30 minutes ago."

Eric immediately slammed the chair beside him making the secretary jerked in surprise. "That squat*an in front of me right now!" His jaw hardened with a crimson face restraining the anger. What Ryder is doing right now is really outrageous, and she will not forgive him.
"Bright, sir." The man immediately walked out of the room when he saw the anger of the great master. He must quickly find Ryder's whereabouts before Eric grows enraged.
Meanwhile, in one of the rooms of a restaurant, Ryder and her friends were already gathered at the place.
Food and drinks were presented in front of them all, but somehow the atmosphere felt very tense and gripping.
"What, are you still mad at us, Ryder?" ask Alan slowly. Since last night the man has not spoken to them at all.
"No. Eat, after that there's something I want to talk to you guys about" Ryder said, putting a piece of meat in her mouth.
Alan, Bhishma, and Shanty look at each other when they hear Ryder's words. They were guessing what the man was going to say, which was definitely not a good thing.
A while later, they had already finished their meal and remained seated in their respective seats. Every now and then Alan and the others noticed Ryder's face, but her face was completely illegible.
"I want the game to be disbanded,"
"What?"
Alan, Bisma, and Shanty scream in shock upon hearing Ryder's words. "Why disband, Ryder? What was Yara's problem at the time?"
Ryder looked at Shanty intently when she heard him say Yara's name. "Don't say his name with your mouth!" His words sounded full of threats.
"I founded it, so I have the right to disband it at any time." His words were as sharp as the gazes of his eyes that were drawn to the three of them.
"But we're in it, Ryder. After all our community is not just about that bet, but much broader in scope." Shanty looks very unwilling if their community is disbanded.
Ryder was silent with a frustrated sigh. It is true that the community he founded is not just making women as betting material, but the actual activity is to investigate and uncover dark activities in a company.
The party is just entertainment for members who are already their business partners, as well as investors who fund the equipment they use. Though behind all that, Ryder and his friends' work is uncovering all illegal activities that occur in the company.
That's why River says Eric isn't a regular guy, because he's a former right-hand man from a notorious mob leader in mainland Europe. Then his expertise was down on Ryder, who was very good at dismantling the rottenness of a company.
"Don't be rash, Ryder. Just because of a woman you-"

Bhishma did not continue when she received Ryder's dark glare, while Ryder himself looked at the man with stifled anger.
"That's it. I don't want any more of that community, so you guys get everything sorted out" Ryder said.
After all, the purpose of the party was in addition to entertainment, also to disguise their activities so as not to be sniffed by the general public. So, everyone knows them well because of that betting party.
"Ryder, please don't dissolve everything. We promise to clean up our community if that's what you want, there won't be any more women or drinks there" Alan said. That community is their world, and half of their lives are already spent in that activity.
Ryder paused for a moment to think about what they were saying, then rubbed her face violently on the verge of confusion.
"We beg you, Ryder. The job is our life" they stare at Ryder with sadness and hope Ryder is forced to obey.
"alright. But get everything done,"
"Sorry, Sir."
Everyone was shocked when they saw the arrival of the secretary from Ryder's parents, as well as Ryder herself.
"Sir is looking for you, you have to see him immediately" the man said, making Ryder feel that something was going on with her papa.
