Chapters 142. The Evidence Recorded.
Bayu smiled with satisfaction when he saw the files in front of him. After waiting a long time even to spend a lot of money, eventually he will soon have the plantation and the factory.
"Sir!"
Bayu then turned his head towards one of his men. "What?" He asked sharply.
The man then reported that he had seen Ryder and Zafran visiting Edward's house, and that they had not returned.
"Supervise them from afar" said Bayu. He then left the place to meet the village chief, because he had to get the man's signature as a witness.
After he finished talking to Edward and devised a plan, Ryder and Zafran left. There are still many things they have to do to dismantle the decay of Bayu.
"Let's go to the factory, I want to see some cctv installed there!" take Ryder.
Zafran nodded, then they immediately went towards the factory. However, before that they stopped for a while to meet Yara who was busy preparing a farewell event for all the villagers.
"How, have you guys talked to that guy?" ask Yara.
Ryder nodded. "You take it easy, everything will be fine. But, it looks like Zafran should stay here until the matter is over, is it okay if you go back with the others?" He's feeling anxious.
"of course. I'll be back with them. Anyway tomorrow the Director will also come to pick us up, so you don't have to worry about me. Worry for yourself" said Yara.
Ryder nodded back. Let's just hope things get over quickly so she can go back to her parents' house to discuss her marriage and Yara, she doesn't want to put it off for too long.
After a long time at the site, Ryder and Zafran continue their journey to the factory.
Yara looked at the two men softly. He always prayed for them to be okay, and all the problems were quickly resolved.
"Assalamu'alaikum."
Yara gasped in surprise when she heard someone's greeting, she immediately turned to look back to see the person.
"Wa-wa'alaikum salam, Bayu," Yara replied with a stammer.
"Sorry, did I surprise you, Doctor?" asked Bayu kindly while spreading a smile.
Yara tried to calm her heartbeat because of the man's presence. "Of course, Bayu. Good thing my heart didn't jump out." He tries to be ordinary.
Bayu immediately laughed when he heard it. He then asked how to prepare for the afternoon farewell, whether they needed help or not.
"For the food is being prepared by the mothers. They were very excited, I got excited too" Yara said. He wants to make Bayu feel comfortable talking to him, maybe he can find an opening to help Ryder and Zafran.
"Yes, they are very excited. Unlike his young children, who only know to play and consume drugs" said Bayu.
Yara nodded her head. He then invited Bayu to join the others who are now decorating the location they will use.
Bayu was silent for a moment, weighing whether to accept Yara's invitation or not because there was still a lot of work that he had to do.
"Come on, we're still short on people! If you expect Ryder and Zafran, it won't be finished" Yara said.
"Did they not come?" ask Bayu.
Yara then said that Ryder and Zafran had come, but went back to the factory because there was still work to be done.
Finally Bayu decided to help Yara, for some reason he felt interested in the woman's invitation. Is it because Yara will be back in town tomorrow?
"Are you not going back here?" ask Bayu while helping Yara attach various kinds of decorations.
Yara shook her head. "Eitherway. Maybe not, I'll have to work there." He answered while paying attention to all the activities Bayu did.
From a distance, Lewis and Ansel continued to pay attention to what Yara was doing. They felt astonished why suddenly the woman was familiar with Bayu, even though all this time they were both just a salung reprimand anything.
"There's no way that Doctor Yara likes Bayu?" said Lewis. He then frowned in pain with a stifled voice as Ansel suddenly stomped his foot. "What are you doing?" He stared hard.
"Eat him, have that mouth guarded. What is Doctor Yara crazy?" hardik Ansel with sharp. "Where might he like Bayu while there's a perfect master Ryder in front of him, isn't he sane?" He was upset himself.
"Curtain! I'm just gonna say." Lewis blinks his lips. "But why are they so close?"
Ansel sniffed his shoulder. He then invites Lewis to keep an eye on the two men, he is afraid something will happen with Yara. If that happens, maybe they'll all be destroyed by Ryder.
At the same time, Ryder and Zafran had already arrived at the factory. They went straight to Ryder's office to install the cctv that she had installed some time ago.
"There was no cctv here before, which is why I immediately told people from the city to put it up" Ryder said in his study.
"What does bajing*an know too?" ask Zafran. It's free for Ryder to check the cctv if Bayu finds out, surely the man has prepared everything.
Ryder shook her head. "No, only me and Domi's grandfather know about this cctv. I purposely kept it a secret because I wanted to check firsthand how the man worked. But, not all places have CCTV. I just put up a few."
Zafran heaved a sigh of relief. It's okay if there's only a few CCTV's, it's much better than nothing.
Ryder turns on her laptop to check the CCTV, as well as Zafran, who has prepared a sharp gaze.
Some of the impressions revolved around the laptop screen, but nothing seemed suspicious yet. Moreover, there were a lot of impressions, making the two men confused to want to check where.
"Try checking for the last few days, also at night" said Zafran.
Ryder nodded while doing as Zafran said. Both of their eyes really paid attention to the impressions seriously, because they did not want anyone to be missed.
"See that!" zafran exclaimed when he saw Bayu entering the factory at exactly two in the morning, and was done a few days ago.
Bayu enters the factory with two men who chased Zafran last night. They walked towards the warehouse at the very end.
"Si*d. There are no more cctv's in that place" Ryder exasperatedly choked. He was wondering what Bayu was doing in the back shed.
"Has he been embezzling materials out of the factory?" Ryder murmur. He just remembered if the warehouse contained materials that would be sent out.
Hearing Ryder's words, Zafran immediately fiddled with the laptop to speed up the CCTV footage, and sure enough. The wood is again visible while carrying some boxes containing factory ingredients. Not only that, they can even see the workers in the warehouse and also the security officers help the actions of Bayu.
"Good, very good," Ryder murmured as she clenched her hands tightly together. It turns out that so many people have been playing behind him.
Zafran still continues to collect all the decay of Bayu during this time, and all the CCTV footage must be very good to play during the farewell event later in the afternoon.
"Keep gathering all the evidence, Zaf. I have to see the manager" Ryder said.
Zafran nodded in understanding, and Ryder immediately went out of the room to ask for the names of all the workers who worked in the warehouse.
