Chapters 141. A Mystery.
Both pupils of Zafran's eyes widened when he saw a photo of a man inside a frame, and the face of the man was exactly the same as the face of the invisible creature that had shown him the way out.
"What's up, Zaf?" ryder asked as he watched Zafran continue to stare at the photo, as well as Edward who had come to look at Zafran's gaze.
"That's a picture of my son. He's handsome, isn't he?" edward said with a warm smile.
Zafran immediately turned his gaze towards Edward. "Your son?"
Edward nodded. "really. Did you ever know him?" He asked softly, remembering the presence of the son who had long abandoned him.
Zafran. No, he didn't know her, but had met her. They even met last night.
"What's the matter, Zaf?" ryder asked back confused. "Do you really know Mr. Edward's son?"
Zafran shook his head. "No, I don't know him."
Edward breathed a heavy sigh. It was impossible for Zafran to know his son, while the son had already died a few years ago in an accident.
"I don't know him, but I've met him" Zafran said.
Both of Edward's eyes immediately sparkled when he heard Zafran's words. "really? When did you meet Edwin, it must have been a long time, right?" He looks happy.
Zafran was silent. How is this, what should he say? Was he honest when he met that guy last night?
"Edwin died 3 years ago."

Zafran gasped in shock to make Ryder also jumped because of it. "Di-he's really dead?" He asked with a stammer.
Edward nodded his head. He then said if his son died due to an accident because the car driven into a deep abyss, even until now he has not found the whereabouts of his son's body.
Zafran's heart pounded hard hearing all Edward's stories. It was clear that the one who met him last night was a subtle creature who was reincarnated as Edwin. But why was he in the factory and helping him?
"Zafran, are you okay?" ryder asked as he patted Zafran on the shoulder. He felt anxious when he saw the strangeness of the man's attitude, especially now that Zafran's face turned pale.
"So when did you meet him? What was it when he was in college in town?" Edward asked again with enthusiasm.
Zafran is getting confused. He rubbed his face violently making Ryder panic, as well as Edward who was now looking at the man in wonder.
"No, I met him not in town. Me, I met him here" said Zafran.
Edward nodded his head, while Ryder sharpened his eyes because he felt strange about Zafran's words.
"Wait, doesn't this mean it's your first time here?" ask Edward again.
Zafran looked at Edward with nanar, perhaps what he was going to say this could make the middle-aged man surprised. "I met him in this village, sir. And I met him last night, at your tea factory first."
"W-what?" Edward screeched with both eyes perfectly rounded, even apparent shock and disbelief on his face. "You, what did you say?" He asked sharply.
Ryder who heard Zafran's words immediately remembered the man's story last night. "So, the man who showed you the way out is Edwin?"
Zafran. He then went back to tell about what happened last night, also about the appearance of a figure that was very similar to the late Edwin.
Edward shook his head with tears streaming down his face, he could not believe what Zafran had told him about his son. How could Edwin possibly appear like that?
"No, you must be lying!" edward said tremblingly.
Edward was completely shocked and confused by what was happening at the moment. During this time his son never appeared before him, not even in his dreams. Then why did Zafran say that now, was the man lying to try him?
"Try you think, how could Zafran possibly lie like that?" ask Ryder. "He himself does not know your son, and he has only come to this village for the first time. Then, what good is he lying to you by making up the story?"
Edward remained silent. He was trying to digest Ryder's words, and was trying to think using his common sense.
"But why? Why did my son show up at the factory and help him, why?" ask Edward sharply.
"That's what we don't know, sir. And because of that problem I came here to ask for your help, too" Ryder replied.
He then told Edward all about Bayu, not forgetting the foul plan of the man who wanted to seize the plantation and his factory.
Edward was stunned to hear all Ryder's stories. Everything that happened today really shook his soul.
"Zafran was chased by the dog*an to the point of injuring both of his legs, and what helped him get away was your son" Ryder said when he finished telling him all of Bayu's rot.
All of these stories were completely absurd and left Edward unable to react because he felt so shaken.
"Everything makes a lot of sense. How could a dead person appear to me again? even I felt confused and scared" Zafran said. "I don't know why your son helped me, which he obviously told me to go into the room. After entering, he opened a closet that was directly connected to the outside of the factory. Was that room his?" He asked in wonder.
Edward shook his head. No, it wasn't his son's office, because it was only used to store files.
"I've long heard that the room is very haunted and spooky, there are even some people who are bullied while in the room. Maybe your son did it?" ryder.
"No, he couldn't possibly bother people. Despite being a demon, my son is a good man" Edward argued. "But I once did find some awkwardness in that room when I took some files."
Edward then told me if he had time to go into the room to pick something up, then he smelled a foul aroma that was so stinging that he vomited and rushed to get out.
After investigation, Bayu said that the stench came from a dead cat in the room, and the room was still grounded.
"I saw a mound in the corner of the room, but rushed out because I couldn't stand the smell" Edward said.
Ryder and Zafran look at each other when they hear Edward's explanation, they both feel something is wrong with the room. Could there be something there to make the room called haunted and creepy room?
"We have to do some investigation, sir. I'm sure there's something in that room, and we should also watch and investigate Bayu. I feel that all of this is closely related to him" Ryder said.
Edward agreed. He then contacted some of his confidants to come see him immediately right now, as he had to immediately order them to investigate all of that.
Meanwhile, elsewhere Bayu is seen being with his people. He had told them to check everyone in the village, and look for the man who had escaped last night.
"You cannot fail. If the man opens his mouth and complains to Ryder, then all my plans will fail!" said Bayu sharply.
A moment later, a man came along while carrying the files in his hand.
"All the files are ready, sir. We just need a signature from Mr. Ryder, after that then the plantation and the factory will be yours."
