Chapters. 19. A Different Morning.
Vano looked at Zafran in surprise, especially with his son's refusal when he wanted to bring Aidan to the company.
As the only son-in-law in the family, of course Aidan has rights to the company that Vano owns. Moreover, Yara was not at all interested in going into business, and her daughter asked that Aidan alone enter the company.
"Don't put that man in the company, Pa. I don't agree."
Zafran clearly rejected what his papa wanted to do. Not anything else that man has dared to betray his brother, then what if later Aidan has been given a part in the company? Not only was Yara betrayed, but the company was also.
"Why, Zaf? Don't you like it when your brother-in-law joins our company?"
Zafran nodded immediately. It was up to her father to feel strange and wondering, which was clear he had to keep Aidan away from his entire family.
Vano himself looked at his son in confusion. Is Zafran too greedy for the company, so do not like it if Aidan intervenes with them? However, his son was not that kind of person.
"Say what the reason is, if not then you will still put Aidan into the company."
Zafran is on the verge of confusion. It seemed like he was stuck with what Vano was doing, and somehow his papa had to discuss the company matter now.
"Although he's Yara's husband, the man is still an outsider who we don't know how his attitude and character are. I don't want him to create a problem that will hurt the company.
Zafran answered logically making Vano speechless. However, for some reason Vano felt like there was something else that his son was hiding.
"You know if you can figure out all the things you want, right?"
Zafran knows exactly where his papa talks are going at the moment, but he has to wait for news from his brother.
"Don't let your uncle step in to investigate. Are you fighting Aidan?"
Zafran was silent because he felt cornered. If River had already intervened, then no one would have escaped them.
"I'll say it, but if papa promises not to do anything before hearing from Mbak Yara."
Vano became agitated. His heart was instantly hot just because Zafran mentioned the name Yara. Could it be that there is a problem with her daughter's household? Then he nodded impatiently.
Zafran took a deep breath and exhaled before telling him what happened to the older brother. Then he invited his father to sit down before telling him what he got while playing to Kenzi's apartment, until he finally told him everything that happened.
Vano's face flushed red with hunting breath when he heard Zafran's story. His blood boiled when he found out that his daughter was betrayed.
"Wait, where's Papa going?"
Without saying a word, Vano immediately stepped off the sofa with clenched hands. He stepped towards the exit making Zafran squeal in shock.
Zafran quickly blocked the hand of the father, then held him back. "Papa promised not to do anything, right?"
"Why should papa be quiet when your mother is hurt like that, huh?" snapped Vano. Who has done wrong, who has now got his wrath.
"I know, that's why I hit him right away. But, Papa also has to think about how Mbak Yara feels. He must be very hurt right now,"

"Call your uncle and get him here right now."
Vano then turned around and walked quickly towards the stairs making Zafran sigh roughly. He then immediately contacted River and told his uncle to come to see the papa right now.

The next morning, Yara awakens when she hears someone's call. He blinked his two swollen eyes, then got up from the floor as he fell asleep in that place.
"Shortly, Mom!"
It turned out that his father-in-law was the one who called. Yara quickly went into the bathroom to wash her face and also brush her teeth. When she finished, Yara rushed out to meet the in-laws.
"Yes, Mom. What's up?" yara asked after opening the door of her room.
Nova was silent in front of Yara when she saw the puffy and sad face of her daughter-in-law. Her heart felt tight and saddened by what her son was doing, but after talking to Aidan. Now he understood a little why the man had cheated on him.
"You all right, son?"
Yara nodded with a thin smile. "I'm fine, Mom. Sorry I woke up late."
"It's okay. Now take a shower and come down for breakfast, I've prepared the food downstairs."
Yara nodded back and went into the room. He rubbed his chest that was back to throbbing pain, until every wound he felt was like it was getting wider as he took a breath.
After preparing for half an hour, Yara already looked fresher even though her face and eyes still looked puffy. He then stepped down to the kitchen to meet the in-laws.
Yara's steps came to a halt when she saw Aidan sitting on the dining chair staring at her. The man looked very messed up, even his clothes were still last night because Aidan had not entered the room yet.
"Sit, Yara. We have breakfast together."
Yara nodded and sat down beside Aidan. She brushed aside all the pain before the in-laws, and served her husband as she always did.
Aidan glanced at Yara with a wistful glance. Really he was very sorry for hurting his wife, even he felt if the stupidest thing he did during his life was to sue the love of Yara.
After finishing breakfast, Nova invites Yara to talk in her room. Of course Yara agreed to her in-laws.
"Son." Mona clasped both hands of Yara making Yara look at her deeply. "You know what Aidan did hurt your heart, but can you forgive him?"
