The Destiny of Love You Choose
Chapters 133. Retaliation.

After talking to Yara, Ryder immediately drove the woman home to Rumh. A smile seemed to decorate his face, clearly visible if he was currently happy.

"Thank you for today, Ryder," Yara said as they reached their destination.

Ryder nodded. "Rest, today you must be very tired." He said warmly making Yara nod along.

"Oh well, later tonight we will visit the village chief's house. I hope that you and Zafran will also join us because we would like to discuss the farewell before returning to the city" Yara said as she recalled their plans for the evening.

"of course. After Maghrib, we'll come here" Ryder said.

Yara nodded her head again, turned around and entered the house after reminding Ryder to carefully ride a motorcycle.

Ryder passes away after making sure Yara gets inside the house. He drove his bike a little faster to get home because he wanted to take a shower and call his parents.

Meanwhile, elsewhere Zafran was still in the village chief's house. After waiting for half an hour, Myra finally arrived at that place as well.

There was a commotion between them because Myra was angry about being left behind by Zafran, but Zafran did not care about even ignoring the woman.

Until finally the village chief came and tried to calm his daughter, then asked that Myra be more polite to Zafran.

"If you keep going like this, I'd better go" Zafran said. His head felt dizzy at the insignificant anger of the woman.

Myra clenched her hands tightly. The man was really rude, and continued to drain his emotions.

"I'm sorry my daughter, Zafran. He did not intend to be disrespectful to you," the village chief said as he glanced at Myra sharply.

He has been warned by Ryder to treat Zafran with courtesy and kindness, otherwise Ryder will intervene.

Zafran let out a rough sigh. He then immediately asked for documents that he said should be done immediately, rather than wasting time like this.

Resisting her frustration, Myra was forced to give the document because of the sharp gaze her father gave her. The plans that had been put together were all falling apart.

"You look at Zafran, I will definitely repay you!" muttered Myra hatefully.

The village chief then invited Zafran to work on the documents in his study, waiting for drinks and snacks to be served.

"No need, I can do it here," Zafran subtly refused. He did not want to enter the house, let alone linger there.

"Don't be like that, son. I'm not good with Ryder and the people who see her, I also want to welcome you well."

Zafran mendessah frustrating. Inevitably he was forced into the house because the man was carrying Ryder around, and he also had to keep the good name of his future brother-in-law.

Moments later, Zafran was already in the man's study. He immediately checked what documents were actually to be worked on, and attempted to complete them as quickly as possible.

Not long after, Myra walked into the room carrying two cups of coffee and a plate of snacks. He placed it on the table before him Zafran.

Zafran just kept silent as he glanced at Myra, then refocused on working on the document without intending to open his voice.

"Please, father told me to serve it," Myra said sniffly. He then sat down on the chair to check on Zafran's work.

Zafran remained silent ignoring Myra. After all there was no benefit she replied, making Myra really have to regain some restraint.

"Father will again scold me if you don't try these foods and drinks" Myra said again hoping Zafran enjoyed the food and drinks he had served.

Zafran smiled cynically. "That has nothing to do with me."

"Si*alan, you brengs*ek male!" Myra only dared to curse in her heart, because if not then she would also be humbled by her father.

After almost an hour of working on the document, Zafran finally finished everything. He then placed the document right in front of Myra who was playing mobile phone.

"Is everything ready?" asked Myra suspiciously.

"Eyes are used for seeing, and the brain is used for thinking" Zafran replied with a circus.

"Is it done?" Suddenly the village chief entered the room to check on Zafran and Myra.

Zafran nodded his head, while Myra directly handed the document to the father.

"As per what Ryder said, you are a really smart and great man. Look, the report is very neat," the village chief praised when he saw Zafran's work.

Zafran thanked him for the praise, then said goodbye to go home soon before the afternoon got better.

"Why aren't the drinks and food tasted, is it bad?" asked the village chief when Zafran was about to walk away. "Sorry, our food and drinks are different than in the city." He looked sad.

"It's not like that, sir. I'm just full" Zafran argued.

The village head then asked Zafran to drink the coffee that had been served, because he thought guests should not go before tasting the dishes served.

Zafran quickly picked up the cup and downed it a little, after which he put the cup back on the table. He had to drink it as a form of politeness and be allowed to go home.

"I'm sorry" Zafran said later.

The village chief then escorted Zafran to the front of the house, while Myra only watched from the window with a triumphant smile.

"Because you. Feel my vengeance" muttered Myra. He accidentally put something into Zafran's drink to teach the man a lesson.

In the evening, after Maghrib Ryder gets ready to go see Yara as they are about to pay a visit to the village chief's house.

"Are you ready, Zaf?" ryder asked as he entered Zafran's room. "Well, where is he?" He then went back out when he did not see Zafran in the room.

"What's up, Ryder?" weny asked as she just came out of the kitchen.

"I'm looking for Zafran, Grandma" Ryder replied. A moment ago, the man was in the room.

Weny directly pointed towards the kitchen making Ryder frown in confusion. "He was in the bathroom, he said his stomach was hurting. That's why Grandma made some herbs for him."

Ryder nodded in understanding. He then immediately went into the kitchen to approach Zafran who was in the bathroom.

"Are you all right, Zaf?" ryder asked while strengthening his voice.

Zafran who was in the bathroom looked very pale. This was the sixth time she had entered the bathroom after reaching home, until it felt very weak.

"My stomach hurts" said Zafran from the bathroom.

Ryder gave a rough sigh. It was fitting that since then he felt that Zafran was pacing in front of his room, it turned out to be a stomachache.

"Yes, you're home" Ryder said later. He then immediately went to Yara to pick up the woman in order to treat Zafran.

On the way, Ryder suddenly stops her bike when she sees someone she knows talking to someone.

"That's not Bayu?" He sharpened his eyes. "What's he doing here? And who was that man with her?"
