"Your order is ready, sir."
Ryder awakens from daydreams when she hears the tavern owner say, she then walks up to the woman to pick up the food she ordered.
"How much?" ryder asked as he took the sandwich the woman had given him.
"Thirty thousand, sir," replied the tavern owner.
Ryder brushes the money that is currently in her hands. He was not unwilling to pay for the food, but was thinking hard whether to buy the old man or not.
"What do I care about him for? My life is endangered." Ryder shook her head in order not to think of anyone else. He gave the money and waited for his change.
"Can the sandwich be cut into pieces, miss?"
Suddenly the man's voice rang out, making Ryder's heart go back to war with her wits.
"Can, Sir. Wait a minute, yeah," said the woman who was taking the money for Ryder's change, while the old man smiled as he nodded his head.
"This is the change, sir. Thank you" said the woman, giving Ryder money.
Ryder clenched both of her hands as she was unable to take her own money. "Make another sandwich for the rest of the money, then give it to him." Finally unexpected things came out of Ryder's mouth that immediately cursed his own stupidity.
"Alright, Sir. Thanks again." The woman smiled widely while nodding her head.
Ryder then turned around and quickly left the place before doing another ridiculous thing. He could have wasted money on others, but he himself had no money.
"Here you go, I'm dizzy thinking about it."
Ryder chooses to forget about the problem and resume her steps, while eating a sandwich that looks tempting with a stomach that is increasingly rumbling.
After the meal, Ryder stopped at one of the taverns to buy a drink. He bought some mineral water as stock for his trip.
Ryder then goes on a journey that doesn't really know where she's headed. He only followed his footsteps and instincts while hoping that his tongue would not be wrong.
The high sun makes Ryder's body stung. His clothes were also already wet due to the sweat that kept pouring profusely from his body.
"Can I give you a ride?"
Ryder's steps came to a halt when a car stopped next to her. He then raised his head to see who had just spoken to him.
Meanwhile, elsewhere Yara was dressed. He put on his face thinly, and did not forget to wear perfume so that his body odor did not interfere with the sense of smell of others.
Just a moment ago, Yara had already said about the email to her parents. Her mom and dad will always support whatever she does, so all decisions are in her hands.
After giving it some thought, Yara finally decided to join the hospital. What about the clinic he founded?
After she finished preparing, Yara immediately got out of her car to go to the hospital. He was driving the papa-given car 2 years ago, and was speeding on the streets.
It did not take long for Yara to get to the destination, because it was only 15 minutes away from the home of her parents.
Yara got out of the car and walked quickly to get inside the hospital. In accordance with the instructions, he met one of the existing administrations in that place. Then they took him straight to the Director's room.
"Good morning by noon, Doctor Yara," greeted the middle-aged man who was the Director of Griya Husada hospital kindly.
"Good morning, too, sir. Thank you for inviting me to come see you," Yara replied no less kindly. He then sat on the sofa in the room after being invited by the Director named Romi.
An office boy came into the room with drinks and snacks and served them on the table.
"Please enjoy Mister, Miss," said the man as he moved out of the room.
Yara then sipped a cup of coffee in front of her, to appreciate the host.
"I'm glad you're willing to come to the hospital and see me, Miss," Romi said. He had thought that Yara was not interested in coming, even though the woman herself submitted research to her hospital.
"I should be the one who is happy to get a good reception from you, Sir," Yara replied in humility.
Romi smiled widely when he heard Yara's words, he then began to discuss about the research that the woman did because there were still some points that were slightly inappropriate. Don't forget to talk about the job offer he gave.
Their meeting took up to 2 hours. Some Doctors were also in the Director's room to discuss Yara's research, and they were amazed at the final results that were obtained even though the study was not completely perfect.
"We truly appreciate the talents of young Doctors, and hope that their expertise will continue to grow rapidly beyond our expertise," said one of the senior doctors at the hospital.
"You're right, Doctor." Romi nodded his head. "In particular you, Miss Yara. I've heard the news about what you did while in Indonesia, from one of your friends who worked at the hospital where you did the research. And as a Doctor, I'm really proud of your rescue of the accident victims."
Yara smiled shyly with a tinge of red hue on her face upon hearing the Director's remark.
"Thank you for the compliment, sir. I can't do all of that without the help of the people at the scene" Yara said, remaining low-key. If discussing the matter, surely his mind was fixed on one being.
"Don't think about it again, Yara. He's happy with his life there."
