The mystery behind how Sebas obtained the dungeon's jewel core and then gave it to me was indeed very puzzling.
Every time I tried to ask her origin, her face looked terrified, as if there was something she wanted to hide.
I tried many times to get answers from him, but Sebas remained silent.
I saw that he didn't want to talk about it, and every additional question only made him more anxious.
Finally, I decided to stop asking because I didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable.
Perhaps someday, Sebas would feel comfortable to talk about the origin of the dungeon's jewel core.
To be sure, this mystery is still a big question mark.
And the difference between the dungeon gems core given by Lithos and Sebas was indeed very striking, and it made me even more curious.
When I destroyed the core jewel of the Lithos dungeon, all that happened was an ordinary level rise. There was no strange sensation or excruciating pain.
However, when I destroyed the dungeon jewel core given by Sebas, it was a very different experience.
It felt as if my entire body was smashed into pieces, and I was spitting out huge amounts of blood.
I groaned in pain, unable to move, and surely I would die without the quick healing of the free blood potion I had collected from my long time in the storage room of my lens.
I still don't understand why the jewel core of Dungeon Sebas has such an effect.
Is this a special feature of the core or is there something else associated with it?
The pain was so real in my memory, lying weak and covered in blood on my bedroom floor.
I felt helpless, almost preparing to face death back then.
However, my instincts soon took over.
Quickly, I grabbed all the bottles of blood-boosting potions available in the storage room of my dimension.
Bottle by bottle I took it out, and it spread around me on the floor.
I know this might be a desperate act, but I have no choice.
For an awful hour, I drank almost all the bottles of blood-boosting potions I had.
It felt like I was screaming in pain all the time, and I could barely bear it. My blood is flowing, but so are the potions.
Then, as the hour passed, something extraordinary happened.
My weak body was suddenly replaced by a magical energy that flowed with a bright light into me.
It was an incredible sensation, like I received a blessing from another world.
After the pain disappeared, I suddenly felt myself experiencing a level rise of as much as 10 levels.
It felt amazing, like a gift for my struggle and suffering.
I also gained a number of cool and useful new skills.
It was like an unexpected reward for my resilience.
However, what was most puzzling was the moment I destroyed Sebas's dungeon gem core.
Suddenly, the entire dungeon I had built shook violently, as if it was going to shatter into pieces together with my body.
It felt like the great effort I had gone through would be in vain.
Fortunately, after the earthquake subsided a while later, my dungeon was still intact and sturdy.
Even more than that, everything felt stronger. It was a truly mysterious experience.
It was then that a bright light suddenly engulfed me, flowing into me like a miracle.
I suddenly found myself in a vision that seemed to be seeing a memory on my mind's TV screen.
In that vision, I could clearly see how I, in the form of my usual four-colored dragon, lay helplessly inside a dark and shattered cave.
I was fascinated by this vision that played an unforgettable memory.
In it, I saw Sebas, Gameciel, Vael, and Karina, as well as the thousands of golems that were in my throne room in the cave, all surrounding my lifeless body.
They seemed to cry with sadness.
When I came to my senses from this vision, I felt very real that I was dead at that moment.
It felt like I had actually experienced death.
Ah, but luckily it was just delirious fatigue from losing so much blood as it seemed.
The question of the origin of the dungeon jewel core given by Sebas still haunts my mind.
I couldn't understand where he got it from, and this mystery kept spinning in my mind.
What is even stranger, however, is the change in Sebas's behavior.
Now, he seems to be getting very spoiled towards me, even surpassing Luna.
Luna herself now rarely plays with me. He prefers to spend his time with his new pet named Griffin.
Who would have thought, the role between the owner and the pet seems to have been reversed.
Oh well, the mission run by Sebas, Aleister, and Hades in the human city I stopped about a week ago.
This was a decision I took because I wanted to explore the human city directly. It's been so long since I last saw a human.
I felt nostalgic when I remembered the experience as a human being, when I was still weak and like a slave who only worked in my fat boss' office.
It was a very different past before I reincarnated into the powerful dragon that I am today.
"Hoammmm," my big voice echoed in my giant room.
I stepped slowly out of the big bed and stood up straight, feeling refreshed after a long sleep.
I stood up slowly from the bed, stepping towards the dressing table equipped with a large mirror that filled part of the wall of my room.
My eyes were fixed on the reflection of myself in that mirror, and how frightening the scene was.
My stern and dashing dragon face was visible in the mirror, with sharp horns poking out near my tapered ears and a hard scaly face.
There was no doubt that my appearance was something sinister.
However, the most striking thing was my eyes. My pupils were like snake eyes, sharp and bright red like blood.
Moreover, I only realized that in the dark, my dragon eyes were emitting a terrifying red glow.
Really, my appearance is something terrible.
I can't imagine how the people in the human city would react if they saw me.
even though I knew my appearance would probably cause fear among them.
I looked at myself in the mirror, looking at my appearance which was now very familiar to me.
My spunky, fearsome dragon body, gleaming red eyes that shone sharply in the darkness, were all like old friends.
"[ReQuip]!" I said firmly, activating one of my new skills.
