I feel weak, too weak. Weak in the real sense.
"Weak," I whispered inwardly, feeling like it was me who described how helpless I was.
I stared tensely as the crystal creature came back to attack my father.
The sound of the wind rustling mixed with the sound of a sword swinging towards father.
When the crystal sword almost hit my father's neck, he suddenly moved quickly and stopped the attack just a few centimeters from his head.
At that time, my heartbeat that was still racing quickly subsided again.
I knew my father was very strong and skilled, but seeing him in action really amazed me.
His calmness in the face of a real threat was something worth emulating.
Suddenly, my father shouted at me in an ordered voice. He wanted me to leave this dungeon immediately and wait in the lake outside.
He intends to destroy this giant crystal creature and does not want me to get hurt in the process.
Although tears welled up in my eyes, I nodded and quickly obeyed my father's orders.
I immediately flicked my wings and flew out of the room towards the giant gate and the huge howls on the ceiling leading to the outside of the dungeon within this lake.
Although I wanted to be there with him, I knew that this time was the time to obey his orders and wait outside the dungeon with a hopeful heart.
I came out of the lake quickly, water flowing from my wet body. I swam tenaciously, reaching land in this vast cave.
On the shore of the lake, I stood faithfully, waiting with my unstoppable expectations for my father.
However, I suddenly felt a gentle tremor within the cave.
The vibration seemed to crawl the ground, giving a gripping feel.
At first, I ignored it, thinking it was just my feeling. But the vibrations are getting stronger and more intense.
...
...
I looked at the ceiling of the cave in confusion as some rocks started to landslide from above and fell onto the floor of the cave with a dangerous sound.
Bams...
Bamm...
Dust flew through the air, filling the cave with a thick fog.The vibrations grew stronger and the sound of the rock avalanche grew louder.
My father's loud roar as if smashing into the ears and piercing through my soul, a roar echoed throughout the cave with overwhelming force.
"GROOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRR!!!!"
The tremors swept through the cave violently, making the ground shake and making me almost lose my balance.
There was an explosion that echoed from within the lake, hinting that the fight between my father and the giant crystal creature was getting fiercer.
THE DUAR!!!
"Dad!" my cry full of worry was silenced by the roar of father that pierced through my heart.
My body trembled with fear, I almost felt the sound of vibrations permeating my bones.
Trying to contain the fear, I slumped to the cave floor and closed my arm with my hand, trying to ward off the terrible sound
. My father's roar seemed to be an outburst of godly emotion that filled this cave, sending out an irresistible wave of bitterness.
Explosions shook the cave with devastating force, cracks creeping all over.
I tried to avoid the falling ruins while tightly shutting my skin, the deafening roar of my father rang out from behind the explosion, shaking my heart to the point of trembling.
The collapse of the cave happened quickly, my body shook as I flew away, my wings moved as fast as lightning to avoid danger.
The entire ceiling of the cave collapsed, burying the dungeon and its exit under the rubble.
A huge earthquake shook again, making me sway as if a god was raging.
However, I don't want to get caught up in this destruction. I pointed my wings at the huge barn in the ceiling created by my father, following the path he made to get out.
I looked back, saw the cave that was collapsing and drowning in ruins.
With a sigh of relief, I folded my wings and landed on the floor.
I stared at the large hole now covered with dust and rubble. Dust smoke grips the air, making the room feel empty.
My body felt weak, crushed by a weakness that felt so painful.
"Damn it!" I murmured, covered in frustration and despair.
My body drooped limp on the floor, and it felt like my entire strength had evaporated just like that.
My father was buried in rubble and rubble, unattainable by my trembling hands.
I felt so angry at myself, feeling weak and helpless.
It felt like it was all my fault, my fault that put my father in danger.
"No... I was too weak.." I cried with disappointment, clearly heard in the quiet room.
A sense of despair burned in my heart, wanting to destroy everything.
But my spirit exploded again. I lifted myself up with determination.
Shouts of annoyance rang out from my lips as I tried to lift the rubble, trying to free the hole towards my father.
However, my efforts felt futile, the debris incessantly covered it back up.
I felt uncontrollable frustration, my resolve turning into an explosion of despair.
I decided to pull out my arrow skill with a large explosive force, pointing it at the large hole that was still covered in rubble.
A violent explosion exploded, filling the room with smoke and flakes of rocks.
However, as the smoke subsided, disappointment re-emerged.
The huge pit only managed to open for a moment, and the debris again covered it like an endless tide of waves.
Despair permeated every fiber of my body, feeling that all this effort was in vain.
"It's all my fault, father," I cried with regret.
Guilt and weakness weighed heavily on me, as if I felt the weight of the world on my own shoulders.
"I am too weak!" frustrated, my punch to the floor sounded like a rumble amidst the silence of the room.
And then I came across a plan.
In a tense moment, I could feel a light tremor on my palm as [Message] connected.
Speaking through the darkness, that hoarse and emotion-filled voice flashed through my mind, stopping me in a moment's rush.
"[Message]!" I muttered quickly, like meeting a beam of hope in the dark that was wrapped around me.
I immediately focused my mind on my eldest brother, Sebas.
"sister.... Come here... Ce-fast.. Floor 10, I beg you.. It's important.." I said to my oldest brother as loud as he stammered.
And, it didn't take long, Sebas's soft voice rang out in my mind, breaking through space and time to reach my restless heart.
"Vael?! What the hell is going on with you?! Important?! Tell me what happened?!" sebas' voice sounded so worried, and I could imagine the dimness that radiated from his face.
My heartbeats are getting faster, I have to explain everything as soon as possible.
"I-this is with dad... Sis... Come here I beg you as soon as possible" I said stammered, unable to hide my doubts and fears.
"WHAT HAPPENED TO DAD?!" sebas exclaimed, his voice rising, reflecting his anxiety.
"I beg... Quick... Be prompt... No need to wonder." I said with humility, sounding like an almost desperate plea.
I can't stand to see you in this state, and I know Sebas is my only hope.
"ckk.. Then I'll hurry home, wait for me!" sebas' voice came in a stern tone, severing our communication soon after.
In a quiet room, I closed my eyes for a moment, trying to calm myself down.
