The Dragon Lord System

The Dragon Lord System
S3 - Boss dungeon "1"

I slowly looked back at Lithos who seemed to be looking at me with a sharp gaze, preparing to attack me.

However, I immediately planned my next move.

Then I ordered Vael to stay away from me as far as possible, in the hope that he would not be affected by my attack.

"You go as far as possible from this place, young man," I told Vael sternly, trying to keep him safe.

However, Vael had a stubborn attitude. "But I want to protect you, father," he said reluctantly, showing his determination to stay close to me.

Really, Vael's stubbornness had been a very obvious thing from the start.

I am frustrated with this discussion. I had to say it a few times for him to actually follow my orders.

"ENOUGH! FOLLOW MY WORDS!" I shouted out loudly, trying to emphasize the urgency of the situation to Vael.

The shout made Vael startled and he quickly flew away from where I was standing.

I know that sometimes a loud noise is the only way to make him listen.

Even though I know he's worried about me, his safety remains a top priority.

And now there was only Lithos standing near me, ready to challenge me.

His gaze was sharp like a crystal that poured into me.

"Ah, very interesting. It's the first time I've seen a big lizard like you who cares for his subordinates" Lithos said, looking at me with a sharp gaze.

I'm not staying silent.

"Is that a compliment or a insult? And for clarification, you're wrong, He's not my subordinate, he's my son" I replied, feeling the need to explain the real relationship.

Lithos only sighed in his crystal. "Hmm, you are indeed very different from the big lizard I once met. And you could say my previous words could be interpreted both. All right, enough bases. Now, are you ready to die, big lizard?" threaten Lithos with a gritting tone.

I snorted lightly. "If I were dead, then you would meet the same fate. But I have no intention of dying today, you who will regret facing me" I said confidently, facing the threat calmly.

Suddenly, the atmosphere around us became more tense.

Nimble, Lithos hurtled towards me at an incredible speed.

His hand that resembled a sharp sword pointed straight at my neck, trying to hit it with a deadly blow.

Ting...

However, my reaction was not losing fast. My hand swiftly blocked his attack, meeting his crystal sword perfectly.

"Hmm, he is quite fast," I muttered in a relaxed tone, though actually in my heart I felt a shock at the speed of Lithos' attack.

Right then, Lithos was pushed back quickly, perhaps trying to rearrange his position to attack me once more. However, I will not give him a chance.

With a forceful slow motion, I pointed one hand at her, drawing up my fingers as if playing a dance that called out to her.

"[Death Grip]!" I cried out, summoning the power of the Death Grip.

I felt a black energy radiating from my hand, and my hand formed into a strong grip, as if it had undeniable magnetic power.

Just then, Lithos from a distance was pushed towards the clutches of my hand.

His body staggered, as if attracted by an invisible force of attraction.

There was a loud noise as he was suddenly pushed close to me, caught in a strong grip.

BAMM!!

His voice echoed in the room as he was almost knocked against the wall by the strong attraction force.

Meanwhile, I casually stepped closer, staring coldly at Lithos.

He tried hard to break away, but it seemed like his efforts were in vain. There was no resistance capable of resisting this power of the Death Grip.

I just stared at him with one eye, conveying the message that I would not back down in the slightest.

"You're too weak for me" I said in a proud tone, my voice creeping with tempestuous confidence. I stared at Lithos who was clamped in my grip, the sensation of victory bubbling within me.

However, dissatisfied with just that, I decided to show true strength.

Quickly, I activated my acid corrosive skill, [Acid Manipulation].

Like a dark dance, I controlled the acid with the movement of my hand, and from that hand, was born a deep greenish-colored acidic liquid.

The liquid charged towards Lithos at the rumbling speed of heavy rain. His crystalline body, which seemed invincible, began to be fulfilled by the acid.

I saw how the crystals melted, how the holes formed on his body, and how the crystal flakes fell to the ground.

The soil is inundated by acidic fluids, while Lithos is getting eroded more and more.

He tried to struggle, but acid was inevitable.

Finally, his crystalline body shattered and he fell to the ground in the form of fragments filled with green smoke.

With my bare hands, I released my grip on the shattered crystal body of Lithos.

I looked at the results of my work with a satisfied smile, feeling the deepest satisfaction in my heart.

Suddenly, the room that was originally filled with crystals of various colors that were brightly lit changed colors like a never-ending fluorescent light.

Striking and bewildering colors flowed towards Lithos' shattered crystal body.

I watched how his body began to awaken from pieces like a puzzle that moved on its own, reshaping itself rapidly.

Lithos who had now recovered in anger immediately launched his attack with sharp words.

"Are you sure I'm weak?! You're a disgusting lewd lizard, who dares to kidnap an angel in the god's domain and give birth to your angel's son Tabu?!"

But I'm not staying silent. Relaxedly, I responded.

"Ah so it is, I see, do I have to smash the crystals all over this room so that you don't regenerate again? That's easy enough for me."

Lithos became momentarily silent, seemingly worried that I had discovered his weakness.

He said nothing, a thousand languages. I looked at him with a sharp gaze, feeling pleased that my guess turned out to be right.

"No need for your words, I already know the answer," I muttered lightly, feeling dominating the situation with the mind game going on.

"Come and attack, lowly creature" I said lightly, gesturing to Lithos to approach me.

While using my index finger, I moved my hand towards him, inviting him to attack.

"DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME, OBSCENE LIZARD!!!" shouted Lithos, provoked by my words.

He quickly responded by manipulating the crystals throughout the room, turning them into high-speed, sharp crystal bullets, trying to hit me in flight.

Shoots...

Shoots...

But I am not afraid.

I quickly activated [Reality Phasing] to break through those attacks.

As I floated in flight, I felt confident that this was the right time to use this ability.
