"Augh"

Lara coughed up blood, her body shattered from the great sword. A huge hole formed in his body, and smoke started coming out from the remains of his body which melted slowly.

"What happened to me." said Lara feeling so weak, tears streaming down her face in pain.

His strongest attack did not succeed in destroying the Angel Golem, even destroying just a few of its wings.

suddenly they heard a threatening voice.

"Even if you weak beings want to know, no one can help you now! How foolish you are to dare to set your dirty feet in my master's house! DIE DOWN!"

They were all shocked to hear the voice, and they looked towards the source of the voice, although its form was still expressionless. However, the voice contained a terrifying threat.

Hearing that voice, they all stared at the Angel Golem. Suddenly, lara screamed in pain very loudly, and instantly her body began to turn into a terrifying lump of liquid.

"He. he's completely gone." murmured Zay, not believing what they were witnessing.

Viona who was scared to death, covered her mouth with trembling hands while falling over. He could not say anything, only to see Lara turning into a frightening state.

The other friends are also fixated on seeing the terrible changes that have befallen Lara. Alex, who had been desperate before, was now turning pale and helpless.

Their originally spirited battle was now filled with fear and confusion.

"One, down," came the voice of the Golem angel. This time, they realized that the Golem could actually speak.

Fear haunted them even more, as it seemed that this Golem was much stronger than they had anticipated.

With fury and burning sadness, Zay did not hesitate to pull out his powerful ice magical attack combo .

He directed his ice combination attacks with deadly precision, hoping to destroy the Golem angel.

"[Ice Prison]!" zay shouted while producing an ice prison that shackled the angel Golem, trying to keep him motionless. However, the Golem remained unshakable.

"[Ice Lance]!" zay exclaimed, creating a sharp ice spear and throwing it at high speed towards the Golem angel.

However, the ice spear only hit the surface of the Golem angel and did not cause any significant damage.

"[Icicle Barrage's]!" his series of pressure-filled sharpness resulted in a high-speed hail attacking the Angel Golem. However, it seemed that the Golem was actually enjoying those attacks.

The angelic Golem laughter that echoed filled the room, as if belittling Zay and his companions.

He seemed to be deliberately silent to face Zay's magic attacks, as if he wanted to prove the weakness and helplessness of the weak humans.

Zay's anger and grief are mounting.

With a burning fury, he continued to attack the Angel Golem, shouting loudly while releasing his ice magic, "Fucking sculptor! Destroy you!"

However, when his ice attack reached the Angel Golem, the Golem's body seemed unaffected.

Zay's attack only hit the frozen surface of the Angel Golem, and not a single piece of damage was visible.

Desperation began to take hold of their minds. These Golem Angels were too powerful, even for their strongest attacks. They need to formulate a new plan, or maybe admit that they can't beat it.

In a tense moment of silence, a big question pops into their minds.

Can they defeat this monstrous Golem?, or will their fate be the same as their friend, Lara, who has now turned into a terrifying liquid?

The tension in the room stung even more with the presence of the monstrous Golem angel.

The sound of choking, coughing up blood, and cries of sadness filled the air. However, the Angel Golem was unshakable and seemed to be enjoying this moment.

"Ah, there's enough time for his play," was heard again, the voice of the angel Golem who seemed to be bored with the ice magic attack from Zay.

In an instant, the Golem disappeared and suddenly appeared in front of Zay with a terrifying speed.

Before Zay realized what had happened, the angel Golem brutally smashed at him with its giant fist.

Everything happened so quickly, and Zay felt he could not survive or escape the Golem's attack.

In desperation, Zay utters the name of his dead friend, "Lara.." closing his eyes.

The Golem lash struck him fiercely, and a rumbling sound filled the room from the fierce impact.

His entire companions fell silent, fixated on seeing the terrifying sight before their eyes.

Zay is dead, no longer helped.

Viona's tears flowed profusely, while Rio held back his grief and anger. All felt hopeless, feeling helpless against such a powerful Golem angel.

"Yeahah!!" Tigris shouted furiously while intending to attack the golem. "Tigris, no!" However, Rio prevented it and held it back.

In the confusion and heightened emotions, the Tigris still tried to break away from Rio's grip, but Rio remained steadfast in holding him back.

The expression on Rio's face that was full of anger and pain made the Tigris hesitant.

If before the Tigris only saw Rio as a forever strong and humorous friend, now he witnessed the fragile side of his comrade forever.

"Let me go, Rio! I'll kill that monster for him!" tigris said in a voice full of anger and sadness.

However, Rio firmly spoke, "Stop!" His voice sounded terrible, and it was as if he would cry at any moment.

Right now, Rio was not an old comrade of humor. Now a cold and strong person, but a human who feels hopeless and full of emotions.

"That's enough, Tigris!" rio continued, "We have to leave Zay and Lara... We need to get out of this place or we're all gonna die."

Rio's words made the Tigris fixated. He felt despair and regret. He knew Rio was right, even though his heart did not want to accept that fact.

After all, no one could bring Zay and Lara back.

"How can you?!" the Tigris shouted with peaking emotions, "RIO?!"

However, despite being in anger, none of them could convince Rio to stay and grieve. They had to give up and leave the place.

Losing Zay and Lara was a heavy blow to them, but they knew, if they wanted to stay alive and face the future, they would have to continue on this journey.

The despairing Rio spoke to the Tigris, his voice getting dimmer, "Lara, our Ranger, has died... Zay, our Magic caster is dead, too... And there were only four of us left.. The magic attacks and the strongest skills of Lara and Zay were not effective let alone physical attacks! We must quickly retreat and report this to King Theovilus and the Guild! That's the choice we have!"

Rio's voice is getting dimmer for longer. He bit his lips and teeth firmly and his hands bled from holding both his daggers hard.

The rest of his fellows could not argue stubbornly Rio who was desperate to escape.

Meanwhile, the angel Golem after killing Zay, suddenly turned its huge body towards them and walked leisurely towards them.

They felt like small, weak ants, which could be stepped on at any time. A sense of trepidation and horror filled their hearts as the giant Golem approached, ready to attack them at any moment.

Quickly, Rio gave the order to the Tigris to immediately push the big door so that they could get out of this monstrous dungeon safely.

His emotions were a little stifled, Tigris kept logical thinking and listened to the commands well, running towards the giant door to push him and opening the way out.

Meanwhile, Rio could not ignore his comrades who were still speechless in fear.

Quickly and decisively, he slapped Viona and Alex for them to regain consciousness. Slowly, the two friends came back to realize the situation and prepared to help the Tigris push the big door.

Rio felt despair creeping into his heart, but he knew that he had to make a way out for his friends.

He intended to sacrifice himself by fighting the angel Golems to distract him, give his friends a chance to escape from this terrible place, and relay the reports regarding the dangerous dungeon to the guild and King Theovilus.

"Push harder, all of you! You guys gotta get out of here!" rio exclaimed with a round determination.

Meanwhile, the proud and confident angel Golem finally found a new target within Rio. With a steady step, the Golem approached Rio, ready to face the resistance of that brave adventurer.

Inwardly, Rio knew that maybe this was his last fight. Even though he knew he was weak and would not be able to last long against the giant monster, he was still determined to distract the Golem so that his friends could escape safely.

Inwardly, Rio felt heavy. He was the one who brought his friends to this dungeon of death, and now he felt he had to take responsibility and sacrifice himself for their safety.

That was when, the beautiful face and smile of his beloved wife, Evelyn, flashed across Rio's mind. His pregnant wife, waiting for the birth of their baby after waiting for 10 years.

However, fate said another, and Rio realized that he might not be able to see the birth of his child.

Tears streaming from Rio's eyes, with a trembling body, he uttered the name of his beloved wife, while recalling the happy memory of being together with her, "I'm sorry, Evelyn."

With deep sadness, Rio rushed towards the giant angel Golem. .
