Kling...

A metal ringing broke the silence between Calliga and the elven woman.

Without a doubt, the elven woman threw a lot of platinum coins towards Calliga. The man in armor, with incredible reflexes, was able to catch every single coin thrown at him quickly.

The kling sound in his iron gauntlet filled the air, hinting that Calliga had managed to capture all the coins.

"What do you mean?" calliga asked with obvious curiosity, while holding ten platinum coins in his hand.

The elf woman folded her hands quietly and replied, "I don't need your money. So take your money back. My words were just to test. Besides, I'm not too crazy about treasure."

Hearing the elf woman's explanation, Calliga did not hesitate.

He approached the elf woman and quickly placed ten platinum coins in the woman's hand.

However, Calliga softly said, "No, this is now yours. Think of this as an apology for my son's previous abusive behavior."

He slowly released the hand holding the platinum coins, giving the coins to the elven woman with understanding.

However, the reaction of the elven woman was too harsh when Calliga initially held her hand quickly.

He shouted with deep anger, "FUCK! WHY DO YOU HOLD ME WITH YOUR DIRTY HANDS, YOU SON OF A BITCH!" His screams were filled with hatred and anger.

The elf woman then flicked her hands, cleaning them with a look of disdain.

His uneasiness and discomfort over human touch remained very strong even though he accepted the coins.

Before Calliga could give any answer or reaction, there was the sound of a powerful explosion.

Duars!

Duars!

All eyes, both soldiers and those who came to the rescue, were on the source of the explosion.

And its source is the magnificent palace of the towering King Theovilus.

They could clearly see, even from a distance, that the palace had been destroyed in a fierce explosion that shook the ground like an earthquake.

Everyone including Calliga was fixated on seeing this terrifying sight, wondering what had just happened and what might have caused the collapse of such a magnificent palace.

Suddenly there was the sound of the dragon's ear-shaking groan filled the air with a very loud sound, so that it could make the ears of ordinary people sick.

"GRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" The groan was heard all over the ruined city of Arbandir.

Most of the residents and rescuers who were nearby immediately closed their ears, feeling how piercing the sound was. Calliga is an exception.

He just stood up leisurely, fearlessly, when he saw the huge dragon in the distance.

The look on his face did not change, and it seemed like he was already used to these kind of terrifying sounds.

The dragon that destroyed the magnificent palace that symbolized the kingdom of Arvandor was an enormous and terrifying creature.

In his pitch-black dragon form, he tore through the air with boundless towering black wings.

His eyes, sharp as swords, emitted a black aura that signified deep fear and hatred.

This dragon was a terrifying manifestation of darkness, with an extremely powerful dark attribute power.

Fear struck the remaining residents of the ruined city of Arbandir.

They trembled in fear as the appearance of this huge dragon threatened their entire existence.

For a human who was already destroyed, this was an unimaginable great disaster.

A huge explosion rang out again as the dragon re-attacked the palace, shocking all who heard it and triggering a terrifying earthquake.

Despite the destruction that occurred, Calliga remained standing quietly, looking at the dragon with a completely unchanged expression, as if he knew he could defeat it easily.

Calliga who initially looked at the huge dragon calmly began to ponder.

He felt surprised that this was not Lithos' doing, as he had expected before.

He always had a bad view of Lithos, thinking that Lithos was the one who would destroy the human city. But now the situation seems different.

Although Calliga pondered about the dragon's identity, another question came to his mind.

Why were so many crystal fragments scattered around this already destroyed city? There may be more mysteries to solve.

The elven woman standing near Calliga was also seen trembling and shocked by the appearance of this dragon.

He voiced his disbelief, "What the hell is this?! THE DRAGON?! How could a dragon attack this human city! Aren't many dragons extinct?!"

The elf woman quickly picked up the bow that was behind her, showing her readiness to face this unexpected threat.

Calliga looked at the giant dragon with a sharp look.

He had incredible eyesight, even sharper than the best eagle or camera.

With the help of her system, Calliga was able to see the status of the individuals she was dealing with. And as he looked at the dragon, he saw the status of the name floating above his head.

"Grandors? Only Level 70?" muttered Calliga in an understated tone.

To him, level 70 was a low level, even for a dungeon boss. However, his thinking soon shifted.

"Wait on! Does that mean he is the boss of the dungeon? Why would he be able to break out of his dungeon and destroy this human city?"

There is a spirit in Calliga. He knew that if he defeated the dungeon boss, he would earn valuable system points.

With a strong determination, he prepared to face Grandor, the great dragon that seemed to be a threat to this already destroyed human city.

Calliga did not want to miss the opportunity to earn valuable system points.

With an evil smile grinning behind his armor helmet, he pulled the two great swords that were behind his body.

The two swords shone sharply, ready to act.

However, before Calliga could run towards the giant dragon named Grandor, an unexpected event occurred.

The entire crystal shard that was scattered on the ground, the rubble remnants of the ruined city, began to soar into the sky.

The crystal flakes were of various shapes and sizes, some were large, some were small, and all of them emitted a dazzling glow.

The humans and adventurers who witnessed this strange phenomenon could only stare in confusion.

They did not know what was going on and how the crystal fragments could have floated just like that into the sky.

What miracle did they just see?

The entire crystal fragment quickly fused together, like a perfectly formed puzzle.

They gathered into an enormous crystal entity, almost the size of a black giant dragon in the distance.

This crystal entity formed the form of a giant ferocious wolf.

These crystals shone with mesmerizing intensity and exuded a heart-shaking aura.

Without a doubt, the wolf crystal entity roared very loudly, its voice echoing towards the huge dragon that was still visible far away.

The people who witnessed this incident fell silent. They can't trust their own eyes.

What they had just witnessed was something extraordinary.

This crystal entity was now standing between them and the giant dragon, and they were all waiting with bated breath to see what would happen next.

The huge black dragon quickly flew towards the gigantic crystal wolf entity.

The two of them prepared for a fight, their fierce strength clashing against each other.

Meanwhile, Calliga could only look on with curiosity. He realized that the crystal entity was Lithos in his original powerful form, his friend.

"Hmm, so this is what happened? Lithos protected the human city from this stupid dragon attack, which caused this city to be completely destroyed?" muttered Calliga while watching Lithos and the huge dragon in front of him.

This incident was completely unexpected. Calliga pondered, trying to digest this increasingly complicated situation.
