S2 - Towards the City of Man

The four of them continued their journey and finally found a bustling human city.

Sebas, wisely, observed the surroundings and stroked his beard thoughtfully. "As I thought, the city is full of people" Sebas said, pondering.

"Dad must have known exactly what the human population was here at a fast pace, whereas I could only estimate it. If I want to be like you, I have to work even harder!" he murmured in the heart.

Sebas then looked at his three younger siblings. Hades and Luna looked very enthusiastic and excited to see this human city. For them, this was their first experience of going out of the dungeon and seeing the sights of such a bustling human city.

Aleister, on the other hand, looked at the human city with a gaze full of curiosity. He seemed to be very curious about everything in the city.

They can't wait to explore the new human world and see what they can find there. However, they also realize that as non-human beings, they must maintain vigilance and be careful not to cause a stir among the residents of the city.

"Alright then, I will report to father that we have found the city of man, and that father give me direction to us. " Sebas said "[Message]", and focused his thoughts on his father. And a voice from the system.

Their father's voice was heard through the [Message] skill, connecting Sebas with their father.

Hades, Luna, and Aleister who were around also listened to the conversation between their older sister, Sebas, and their father.

"Hmm, what's up, Sebas?" their father said with a heavy voice.

After communicating with their father through the [Message] skill, the atmosphere became silent. Hades, Luna, Aleister, and Sebas also heard their father's voice.

"Sorry to disturb and waste your time father, father, we have found a human city in the distance" Sebas said respectfully.

"Hmm, it's faster than you think, '" their father said with a slight surprise.

"Alright then, I want the four of you to wait until midnight and sneak in" their father had not yet finished his words when Luna, who heard his father's words, said, not accepting and interrupting.

"Papa, I want to get into the human city and see it now, papa! I beg papa," said Luna eagerly, cutting off their father's unfinished words.

Sebas, who was standing next to Luna and was communicating with her father, saw and heard Luna who cut off her father's conversation. Sebas's heart was filled with anger, and he looked at Luna sharply. He wanted to yell at his brash sister for daring to cut off their father's words.

Sebas did know that Luna was a girl who was always spoiled for their father. However, he thought that Luna should know her limits. Quickly, Sebas wanted to snap at Luna and call her name first, "LU-"

However, before Sebas could snatch Luna, their father replied. Their father's voice echoed through the still-connected [Message] skill.

"Hmmmm." said their father, as if thinking about their future. The sound of their father's presence through the [Message] skill exuded a distinctive wisdom and authority.

Sebas was silent, enduring his frustration. He listened to their father's instructions attentively.

"Alright then, listen well. I let you go, but remember, don't use your power or magic blatantly, and don't create trouble. Understood?" their father said in a serious voice, giving a stern warning.

"Hmm, and I want the four of you to gather important information in that human city," their father firmly continued. Their request is clear, they are asked to be eyes and ears in the mysterious human city.

"Understand me, father," said the three of them, Hades, Luna, and Aleister, determinedly.

However, Sebas looked panicked and quickly uttered, "Me-get it, dad!" He felt surprised and a little depressed with the responsibility given.

"Alright, then, be careful," their father said firmly before severing communication through the [Message] skill.

"Good, dad! I will live up to your expectations!" sebas said with a firm determination. Although their father was not nearby, Sebas felt it was important to still salute his father by lowering his head.

Luna's joy emanated clearly from her face upon hearing that they didn't need to sneak into the human city, but could leave freely right now without waiting for long. However, Sebas immediately reprimands Luna for her previous father's cutting behavior.

"Luna, next time don't cut off Dad's words, you know that he can be very angry if you do it again. Understood?" sebas said seriously, giving advice to his sister.

With a clear look, Luna replied, "I'm sorry, brother." Sebas only nodded in response, indicating that he had forgiven Luna. However, Sebas did not want to stay there too long, he wanted to continue their mission immediately.

"All right, you three should listen to what Dad has to say. From now on, our mission is to enter the human city" Sebas told his three brothers.

Aleister nodded as a sign of his understanding and readiness. Hades responded briefly, "Okay." While Luna, with her typical excitement, catapulted, "Horay!" expressing happiness.

The four of them walked towards the entrance of the city gate. And they saw a guard at the entrance of the city.

A difficult situation occurred in front of them as they tried to enter the city gate. The gatekeeper asked them to show identification cards, so that they could enter the human city.

Sebas became silent and pondered for a moment. He realized that the four of them did not have an identity card because they were not a born family, but rather created. In his heart, Sebas muttered with unease, "Ah, damn it! It's worth it dad ordered us to sneak in at night, and we don't have identity cards."

Upset and full of worries, Sebas kept thinking about possible solutions. "What should we do? No, what am I supposed to do? If there's no solution, we won't be able to get into this city. Do I have to wait and sneak around at night? But I told you to come in now. Ah, all of this happened because Luna made our plans go awry." Mumbles Sebas in the heart, trying to find the best solution.

Meanwhile, the other three brothers, Hades, Luna, and Aleister, looked at Sebas who was thinking seriously.

They were anxious because the situation looked difficult. However, they trusted his eldest brother who was smart and strong. They were prepared to hear the plan he was going to lay out.

Sebas knew that he had to find a way out of this matter in order to continue their mission smoothly, so as not to disappoint their father.

Sebas began to think quickly and remembered what his father had said. He considered using the gold coins his father had given to humans in order for them to allow them into the city.

"Maybe giving gold to humans could make them allow me in. There is no harm in trying. All right, I'll use the advice of father," muttered Sebas in his heart.

Quickly, Sebas slipped his hands into his jacket and took out a bag containing many gold coins from his storage dimension called [Void Storage].

He felt the need to hide his magical abilities and take the gold coins with his hands. Their father had warned her not to use magic or special skills in front of others.

Without wanting to delay any longer, Sebas took out ten gold coins from the pouch and held them tightly in his hand. Then, swiftly, he gave five gold coins to each of the gatekeepers.

" Receive this in return for us entering, because our identity cards were lost while on the way," Sebas told the guards, giving five gold coins to each of them.

The guards of the city gate were blown away to see Sebas give five gold coins to each of them. They quickly drew the conclusion that the old man and his group were nobles, given the beautiful clothes they were wearing.

"Wow, Master! It's too much!" said the first gatekeeper in surprise.

When the guard wanted to return his gold coins, his friend, the guard guard next to him, gave the code with a sharp glare so that he would not return it. Reluctantly, the guard followed his friend's lead.

Not wanting the gold coins to be returned, the second gatekeeper quickly said, "Ah, then, please come in, Master! With the family of Mr." He tried his best to ensure that the noble old man (Sebas) entered the city.

Sebas was relieved that his plan had worked. Giving a nod to the two gatekeepers, he thanked them in his heart.

Then, Sebas told his three younger siblings to step in first. He was delighted and satisfied to see them make it through the first barrier towards the human city.

"Three of you, go in first" said Sebas with relief to his sisters.

Hades, Luna, and Aleister stepped into the city.
