The Dragon Lord System

The Dragon Lord System
DLS - 131

With steady steps, I opened the two large doors of the Adventurers Guild headquarters.

The moment I entered the room, my eyes were immediately fixated on the incredible sight.

Inside this guild, I saw many humans wearing various kinds of unique equipment and weapons.

Each of them seemed to have a different story and purpose, and it made me even more curious about adventurers.

However, my focus shifted as I looked at a large table in the corner of this guild headquarters.

There, a woman in elegant pink clothes.

His smile was friendly as he welcomed all the incoming adventurers, and I was sure he was one of the staff of this guild headquarters.

I felt this was a good opportunity to approach the source of the information, and I planned to approach it after we decided on our next move.

From a distance, I saw some people gathered around a large board that looked very serious.

The board was filled with paper paste that was clearly a list of missions they were looking at carefully.

Everyone seems to be looking for a mission that suits their abilities.

But what caught my attention was the existence of beings who were not entirely human.

Among the human adventurers, I saw some beings who were clearly elves.

Their naturally blushing white skin and taper ears became the hallmark of elves that were hard to hide.

Not only that, the elves carried bows and arrows on their backs, ready to act if needed.

They were part of the diversity that existed in the headquarters of this Adventurer Guild, and it made me even more curious about what kind of adventure we might encounter in this world.

As my eyes scanned through this Adventurers Guild headquarters space meticulously, I realized the existence of unique races other than elves.

One of them is the Dwarves. They are dwarf creatures that look very short, even the size of a small child.

But don't let their looks fool you, their faces are full of wrinkles, and a thick dangling beard adds an old impression that contrasts with their height.

These dwarves, as I know from reading fiction books, are often considered to be master blacksmiths in forging.

Of course, I can't be sure if this is true in the real world.

To me, this world is a world full of mysteries, and I really want to explore it along with the changes I have been going through since reincarnation into a dragon.

Steadily, I stepped towards the female receptionist with pure intention to register as an adventurer.

Throughout that journey, I could feel many eyes looking at the three of us, especially me striking with the use of striking armor.

Even so, those views did not disturb my focus, and I continued to advance towards the receptionist.

Finally, I reached the reception desk, and the woman behind the table greeted us with her friendly smile, "Good day, sir! How can I help you today?"

I gave a polite smile in return, "Good day too, miss. The three of us wanted to register as adventurers" I said as I pointed towards Lithos and Sebas who were standing beside me.

The receptionist looked surprised and somewhat in disbelief at my words.

"Ehh? I think the three of you are adventurers. But it turned out to be wanting to register as a new adventurer," he said in surprise.

I responded casually, trying to convince her with reasonable grounds,

"Ah, your statement is true and false, miss. The three of us are already adventurers from a very distant land."

I continued, creating an increasingly convincing story, "We have arrived in this country, and it seems like adventurers here require official registration to obtain a ranking increase. In our country, being adventurous is an unofficial occupation, so we have no adventurer identity or adventurer rank."

Immediately, I saw the doubt in the receptionist woman's eyes begin to fade, and she began to consider my words.

When he went to pick up some documents, I was relieved.

While waiting, my eyes were fixed on a large board containing many missions.

Thanks to my dragon eyes, I could see his writing clearly from a distance.

On the board, a lot of paper stuck with writing that I didn't know at all, so I couldn't read it or understand.

The receptionist lady then returned quickly with the documents for me, Sebas, and Lithos.

The receptionist lady handed us the documents, then said, "Excuse me, sir. Please fill this document in full. Once you're done filling it, you can give it back to me."

I thanked him, but Sebas and Lithos looked at me with a strange look.

Was my action wrong in their eyes? Ah, I don't know, my human nature is still attached to me even though I am now a dragon.

When I saw the registration form, I approached Sebas and Lithos in a soft voice and ordered them not to use their real names, just pseudonyms. Including myself.

They both quickly filled out forms with letters that were unfamiliar to me.

I could only stare confusedly at the writings and shake my head.

"NANI! What is this writing? I have absolutely no idea what's written here!" I said in a panic tone.

Meanwhile, Sebas and Lithos seemed to easily fill out forms with foreign language strokes that I did not understand at all.

The two of them seemed to have gotten used to this, leaving me in a daze.

I felt even more panicked when I saw the registration form that was still empty in front of me.

How can I fill something I don't understand at all?

Suddenly, Sebas stopped the pen in his hand and turned his head towards me with a worried expression.

"Dad, what's going on? Is dad okay?" he asked with clear concern radiating in his eyes.

While trying to calm down, I gave her a false excuse, "Oh, don't worry. I'm just thinking of something interesting here. Fill out the registration form for me, I'll be gone for a while," I lied, hoping he'd take it.

Sebas smiled and nodded, "Sure, Dad! I'll fill it up for Dad." It made me feel relieved, even though I was actually still confused by all this.

Meanwhile, Lithos looked sharply at me and said his cynical words.

"Hmm, as always, a lazy lizard," he said, clearly referring to me.

However, I pretended not to hear it and did not give any reaction to his comments.

Sebas, who had also heard the cynical comments from Lithos, intentionally stomped on Lithos's feet, causing a bottle of black ink to spill onto Lithos' nearly completed registration form sheet.

Black ink permeated and overflowed the entire form, making it unusable.

Lithos, angry, shouted to Sebas, "Stupid base! What are you doing, you fucking boy! I have to rewrite it again because of you, savage boy!"

He lifted the registration sheet that had been hit by the black ink spill in annoyance.

However, Sebas only chuckled happily, not at all concerned with his anger.

Lithos, though infuriated by Sebas's behavior, knew he could not retaliate for fear of my earlier threat.

He was patient as he called the female receptionist to get a new registration sheet as the black ink spill from Sebas' actions had damaged the old one.

The receptionist woman finally gave a new registration sheet, and with great anger, Lithos refilled it.

Meanwhile, the receptionist lady went to answer a question from an adventurer who needed her help.
