S2 - Adventurers Guild (2/2)

"really. We want to be adventurers, is there a problem with that young man?" sebas said seriously, imitating his father's style of speech.

"Ah, no sir. I just thought that it was unusual for someone noble to be an adventurer," said the man wearing armor with a slight stuttering.

"It has nothing to do with it, young man. And by the way, I want to ask, how do I register as an adventurer, young man?" sebas asked the armored adventurer.

"Oh, about that. You just need to go to the receptionist's desk and fill out the necessary information. The only thing you have to do after that is pay the registration fee," explained the armored man as he pointed towards the female receptionist.

Sebas nodded in understanding. "All right, thanks for the information. We'll soon register as adventurers."

"Yes, so yeah. Thank you very much, young man," Sebas told the man in armour politely, bowing his head in a gesture of respect. They realized that they had to thank others who had given them knowledge, and that was what they learned from Zara.

The armored man looked a little embarrassed, "No-no problem sir. Just ask if you have any further questions. I will be happy to teach you what I know. I didn't know anything like master at first either. Until someone comes along and teaches you how to be an adventurer. And I'm sorry, sir, did I interfere too much?"

"Not at all. So, who taught you that?" ask Sebas curiously.

"It was an old man, Rio Suzuki. He was like a teacher to me. He taught me everything I needed to be adventurous" replied the man in armour with gratitude.

"Oh, so. Where is he now, young man?" ask Sebas curiously.

"At this moment, I haven't seen him in a long time. He was smart and strong, was promoted, and now works as an assistant to king Theovilus at the royal capital's palace. I was really inspired by him and hope to one day be like him. I have to go now. Come to me, sir, if you have a problem" said the man in armour, saluting, before walking away.

The armoured man, Zach, smiled and waved goodbye." May you succeed and find many interesting things there."

"That's very useful. The information he gave me could be used as a reference in the future," Sebas murmured with a clear mind. He felt lucky to have met such a kind-hearted and well-rounded armoured man.

After taking a step, Sebas finally arrived at the reception desk of the adventurer guild. A beautiful girl with a sweet smile greeted them.

"Good day, sir. Can I help you?" sapanya friendly.

"Ah, we want to register as adventurers" Sebas said firmly.

"eeeh? You want to register as an adventurer? Ah, then well sir, wait a minute," said the receptionist as she prepared to prepare the documents.

Luna smirked and teased, "Sister, maybe she was also surprised to see an old man like you wanting to become an adventurer!,hehehe"

"Shut, SHORT! Don't be a FOOL!" hades said as he clasped his sister's arm with a slightly irritated face.

Aleister was silent.

Sebas smiled at his brother's jokes.

The receptionist girl returned with her files and registration form. He gave it all to Sebas.

"Solve it soon, Luna. Don't slow down this process" Sebas says.

After completing the form, Sebas returned the documents to the receptionist girl with a smile.

"Filling forms is a laborious task, especially for a spoiled child like him," Hades said, shaking his head.

After signing the documents, Sebas and his younger siblings received the necklace as an adventurous identity from the female receptionist. Each of the necklaces looked unique and had an adventurer guild symbol that signified their ranking status as adventurers.

"Well, thank you for signing up to be an adventurer. May you be successful on your journey" said the receptionist with a smile.

"Thank you very much" Sebas replied, bowing his head in a sign of respect. Hades, Luna, and Aleister also followed his example and bowed their heads.

During a talk to the female receptionist, Sebas managed to buy some important information about the world of adventure, including general knowledge, necessary skills, currency values, and the various cultures they would encounter on the trip. They also managed to collect a small amount of money.

However, when it came time to exchange some of the magic stones they found into money, Sebas was very surprised. "Are these magic stones extremely rare?" muttered Sebas in the heart. Their father had always considered this magic stone like a regular snack and ate it often. As it turned out, the value of this magic stone was extremely high in the human world.

"Father really has a unique taste" said Sebas. He had never expected that the magic stone they had been taking for granted could have such great value out there.

When Sebas wanted to exchange the magic stone that had the scent of his father, he felt a little annoyed. After all, this was an order and there was nothing he could do. Sebas tries to overcome these feelings by thinking that they will use them for better purposes in the future.

However, when the female receptionist began to wonder about the origin of the magic stone, Sebas felt somewhat uneasy. He lied carefully, following the advice of his father who once mentioned to always be careful in talking about the magic stone.

"Ah, this is a gift from a friend we met on our previous trip," Sebas said casually while covering up his discomfort.

The female receptionist received Sebas' answer with a smile and looked satisfied. "Alright, no problem" said the girl kindly.

Sebas was relieved that the question was over. He made sure not to give them too much information, as doing so could harm them.

Just then, sebas heard their father's heavy voice.

"Free, is the registration done? Then can you tell me the information you got, son?" their father's voice was clearly heard through [Message]'s message.

Sebas nodded, though his father could not see the gesture. "It's over, Dad. We have successfully registered as adventurers. And we also got some important information, father" Sebas replied respectfully as he lowered his head to their father with a smile.

Of course, Sebas could not hide his sense of pleasure and pride. He greatly appreciated every command and advice given by his father.

"good. I'm sure you won't let me down" their father said.

Sebas nodded again, this time with more vigor. "Well, we won't let you down, Dad!"
