Sebas, with a serious look on his face, had ended the conversation through [Message] with his sister, Vael.
Currently, he was in one of the inns in the human city in the Kingdom of Arvandor, the city adjacent to the Elysian mine, known as Arbandir.
In the spacious inn, Sebas was accompanied by his two younger brothers, Aleister and Hades.
His two younger siblings seemed to be discussing about the mission they were on to increase their rank as adventurers.
Sebas pondered for a moment, realizing that the three of them had the same goal: rising to the silver rank, and finally, reaching the master rank.
Completing the tasks given by their father not only gives satisfaction, but also gets recognition and pride from their father.
Sebas was actually involved in discussions earlier with his two younger siblings, Aleister and Hades, when suddenly a message from his sister Vael came in through [Message].
He quickly left the discussion table and went to the front window of his inn room, drowning in doubt. He looked out with a chaotic mind, trying to formulate his next move.
In Sebas's mind, the question of what happened to their father kept spinning. Anxiety filled his heart, and his heartbeat felt even faster.
He felt as if an unexpected event had happened, and he wanted to know immediately what was going on with his father.
"There's no way I can leave them without an explanation" Sebas murmured inwardly, trying to find the best way in this situation.
He wanted to immediately go to their father's dungeon house to make sure of his condition, but also did not want to make Aleister and Hades feel anxious or worried.
Sebas, wanting to make sure that his younger siblings weren't worried, started the conversation with a cough that followed their father's style of speech.
"Aheck... Ahemm," Sebas coughed, giving a sign that he wanted to talk.
Hearing that, his two younger siblings, Aleister and Hades, quickly halted their discussion and turned to their eldest brother who was near the window.
Sebas calmly revealed his plan, "You two can continue your mission first. I have to go home now because there's some sudden business calling me."
Hades, with a puzzled expression, mouth wide open as if he were a fool, quickly responded, "Haah? What sudden business, brother? Then, let us both come home as well and help you get settled quickly."
Sebas answered, "No, I will not let you come. You two continue the mission without me. This is the last Bronze-ranked mission that will take you up the ranks to Silver."
Aleister, full of worry, immediately responded, "But Brother, if Big Brother doesn't complete the mission with us, you won't rise to Silver."
Sebas smiled, trying to ease his sister's worries.
"Don't worry, I've officially registered our party in the Adventurers Guild. So, if you guys complete this mission and move up the ranks to Silver, I'll also go up the ranks."
With that explanation, Aleister and Hades were relieved, knowing that their brother had planned everything well.
"Alright, if that's the case," Aleister said, "Sister, quickly get your affairs in order and join us as soon as possible."
Sebas nodded, "I will do it. You two stay focused on your mission, and don't forget to improve your abilities."
"Wait!" hades shouted suddenly as Sebas was about to open the door.
Sebas immediately looked back, his face frowning listening to what his sister wanted to say.
"Can I go with you, brother?" hades said in a hopeful voice.
Sebas was in a dilemma. She wanted to protect her sister from the bad news regarding their father, but at the same time, she also wanted to keep Hades from worrying.
Hades let out a heavy sigh, seemingly understanding the reason. "Alright, brother," he said resignedly.
Sebas was saddened to see his brother's expression, but he was convinced that this was the best way to protect Hades.
With mixed feelings, Sebas continues his steps towards the door, but in his mind, the worries for father and the desire to protect his sister clash, creating tension within him.
Worried, Aleister asked his eldest brother, Sebas, before Sebas stepped out of the door.
"Sister, do you need me to call Raidjin, so you can go home quickly?" asked Aleister in a worried tone.
Sebas, while playing his beard with a mind that was hovering, contemplated the words of his sister.
"Hmmm," he muttered with a serious expression.
Sebas's facial features reflected his doubts, related to Aleister's offer of help to summon Raidjin, a Summonian creature who often obeyed his orders.
Although his heart wanted to accept the offer, he knew Aleister had just driven Luna home at the behest of their father.
He did not want his sister to trouble themselves anymore, especially after the long journey.
"No need, Aleister. I can walk on my own" Sebas replied with a warm smile to his two younger siblings.
That smile was filled with the feeling of warmth and affection he had towards his younger siblings.
Sebas, after giving a message to his two younger siblings, carefully opened the door of his inn room, leaving the door wide open before his steps left the room.
Before Sebas actually left the room, he turned around and gave Aleister and Hades the final message, "Get yourself all right and don't use your powers too conspicuously in the human environment."
His two younger siblings, Aleister and Hades, nodded enthusiastically, "Ok!"
Sebas's steps sounded clear as he stepped out of his inn room, and carefully closed the door behind him.
In an instant, he had walked out of his inn and made his way quickly out of the human city, crossing the crowded streets by residents and merchants.
However, Sebas's sensitivity was no joke. He soon realized that there were some people following in his footsteps from behind.
With an alert attitude and quick thinking, he decided to turn around abruptly, leaving his stalkers confused.
After walking for some time, Sebas finally arrived at the exit of the human city guarded by the supervising soldiers.
Carefully, he stepped out of the city, trying not to attract attention. He sensed that someone was following him from a distance, and he did not want to face any unexpected problems.
Sebas decided not to head straight to the Elysian Forest, a place that would probably make him more conspicuous.
Instead, he took the usual path to another forest that was further from the general view, the La Vedic Forest.
Although this forest was dense with towering trees, it was a relatively safe place, unlike the Elysian Death Forest which was full of danger.
As he stepped deeper into the forest of La Vedas, Sebas felt a much calmer atmosphere.
The translucent sunlight entered through the cracks of the trees, creating shadows dancing on the ground.
