The Dragon Lord System

The Dragon Lord System
S3 - 85

At the previous moment, I was struck by the dungeon's boss, Lithos, the crystal giant.

Back then, I quickly activated my new skill, [Reality Phasing], which made me like a ghost that could pierce through the opponent's attacks.

And I managed to break through the giant wolf's hand. However, ironically, I found myself breaking through an unexpected floor.

I fell quickly and panic broke out.

The voice of "shushhh." kept echoing in my mind as it felt free to fall out of control.

When I fell through the floor like a ghost sliding into the depths.

Darkness enveloped everything, with no glimmer of light I could hope for.

In the gripping darkness, I reflexed and swiftly moved my wings rapidly, trying to stop my falling.

I still maintained [Reality Phasing], which made me pierce through the things around me, including the floor I now broke through.

The "shushh.." voice was still heard, and I felt like I was on a strange journey more akin to a supernatural roller coaster.

In an attempt to rise from this dark place, I moved my wings even harder, hoping to fly upwards.

After hovering in the seemingly endless darkness, I continuously flew in the direction I believed to be up.

However, in each of my moves, I only encountered a silent darkness, like exploring a world without light.

In the creeping despair and panic, spontaneous words came out of my lips, "Damn! How could I be trapped like this?" The scream was only heard echoing in the gripping void.

I felt like a hero who had entered into the mirror, but this time it gave no way out.

The darkness was so intense that I could feel the weight of my mind getting heavier.

It was as if I was drowning in a sea of emptiness.

Time slowed down in this place, and I began to feel like I was in control of this flow of time.

I struggled with thoughts and feelings that began to creep into uncertainty.

In this lightless world, I was bobbing like a dry leaf in the wind. I no longer knew what direction or purpose I should go.

Even though I kept flying, the ceiling of darkness kept coming.

It felt like I had been caught up in an endless nightmare.

Whenever I think I found a way out, things just got dreary.

In the gripping darkness, panic seemed to once again fill every corner of my body, ambushing me with anxiety that rolled like a wave.

I don't know how long I've been stuck in it, but suddenly, a bright light starts to creep up from inside me.

It was like saving a piece of my soul from falling apart.

As the calmness began to crawl back to me, I let out a long sigh and tried to embrace the situation with a cold head.

I forced myself to remain calm, despite the frustration creeping inside me. I remember how important training and preparation was before using an ability like [Reality Phasing].

I have found myself trapped in a situation I cannot imagine, due to my own negligence.

I flew as fast as I could, but it felt like I was just circling around without a definite direction.

Silence and darkness became loyal friends on this unlucky journey.

I began to doubt if I would ever get out of this situation.

In my continued raging deliberations, I felt like a character in a storybook who was lost within the endless labyrinth.

I didn't know how long I was flying without a clear direction, but I finally realized the importance of engaging my common sense in every action.

Hm...

After a moment of silence in my mind, I began to think of a way to get out of this situation.

Stopping the [Reality Phasing] skill didn't seem like a wise choice; I didn't want to end up as a stone decoration or even meet the end as a surface ground.

But what can I do? I felt confused as I moved my wings and scratched the sharp nails of my dragon on the head.

But suddenly, like lightning, something came to my mind.

Ah, yes! That's the solution!

I've never felt this happy before.

"[Teleportation]!" I cried out in a loud voice, while feeling excited.

And suddenly, my body was surrounded by a dazzling bright blue light.

I focused my mind on the room of the former boss dungeon Lithos.

The darkness suddenly turned into a colorful silhouette and a moment later I felt the world spinning in a flash of light.

When my gaze recovered, I realized that I had arrived at the boss dungeon room filled with crystals.

A smile of satisfaction adorned my face.

As my eyes slowly opened, the world around me again seemed real. I looked at the place where I landed after using teleportation.

The pitch-blackness had been replaced by the crystal sparkle that filled the room.

Apparently, teleportation managed to get me out of a gripping situation.

However, as I pondered, I realized that the atmosphere in this room had changed. I immediately searched for the presence of the dungeon's boss, Lithos, who had previously attacked me brutally.

This time, my teeth rattled in mixed emotions.

"GRDRR... GRPR..." An angry voice sounded in the middle of the room.

For some reason, my emotions suddenly exploded, burning flames that wanted to destroy everything.

Surprisingly, this feeling I can pass on to Lithos, the dungeon's boss. Maybe this is how my body responded to the previous attack.

I glanced in all directions, searching for the whereabouts of Lithos that seemed to disappear. However, my attention was distracted as I looked at Vael from a distance.

He was standing on a giant crystal mound, as if he was showing his victory.

Suddenly I realized what was really going on. Vael stepped on the crystal head of the Lithos dungeon boss with anger and determination.

The crystal head slowly cracked and finally exploded in a violent explosion. Luckily, I was so far away that I wasn't hit by the blast wave.

There was no doubt, Vael had managed to defeat the boss of Lithos' powerful dungeon with his strength alone.

I just realized how amazing and powerful he is. For a moment, I felt like I was in one of the epic scenes in an anime.

But this time, it was real, and I testified to Vael's impressive success.

Just then, Vael was heard calling out "father!" with a clear panicked tone hinting that he was looking for someone.

I realized that he was looking for me, even though we were so far away that he couldn't see me.

While yawning boredly, I pondered about how Vael seemed to have managed to defeat the dungeon boss without my help.

Although I originally wanted to feel the euphoria of crushing the boss, I felt as if this was part of a larger plan.

However, doubt still haunted my mind. Was that dungeon boss really dead?

I pondered with skepticism while still looking at Vael who was still busy looking for my whereabouts.

Although sometimes it feels like I want to be a hero who shows up on time, sometimes it's more fun to let this youngster get some of the honor.

Suddenly, a strange sensation crawled through me, giving me the feeling that there was a small movement from a distance.

Today felt different than usual, like there was a change I couldn't describe in me.

I glanced towards the origin of the movement, and was surprised to find that I actually felt it, albeit with incredible sensitivity.

I turned my gaze to the previously shattered crystal mound, and there I saw it clearly.

The previously broken crystals slowly fused back together quickly. Surprisingly, I could feel the energy pulse from the crystal.

It didn't take long for the crystals to fuse perfectly, forming a crystal-shaped humanoid creature.

The hand of this creature resembled a sharp sword made of crystal that looked so sharp and taper.

With a serious face, I noticed the crystal creature, and suddenly its movements changed, deflecting its body to face Vael who seemed to be in a careless state, standing still without any vigilance.

With a serious look, I noticed every movement of that crystal humanoid creature.

Without further ado, the creature suddenly twisted its body, facing Vael who was still standing without any vigilance.

My gaze was fixed on his raised hand, and it was clearly visible that the crystal creature's hand was gathering energy flowing towards his hand that resembled a sharp sword.

The crystal light emanating from his hands gave the impression that this was a dangerous attack.

Just then, the creature's status details were visible above its head in a clear display.

...[.Dungeon Boss]...

...[.Lithos the Crystal Colossus] ...

Ah, it turns out he's not dead.

But at least this gave me a chance to test my new skill.

I might be able to find another way to deal with it.

Suddenly, in an instant, the newly fused crystal humanoid creature leaped back quickly and high, its evil intent clearly emanating from the movement.

Apparently, the target was Vael who was standing without vigilance, his crystal sword was in the grasp of a hand ready to slash the vael.

Not having much time to think, my instinct as a protector triggered a reaction.

Fly me quickly towards Vael, and just at the right moment, I arrive beside him, ready to block his attack.

As Lithos' crystal sword attack nearly touched Vael's neck, I immediately brushed him off using my right hand quickly as a shield, repelling the attack.

A loud bang rang out, as Lithos' crystal sword hand met my powerful hand.

"Tin..."

With a serious expression, I spoke to Vael, "YOU'RE OFF GUARD!"

I wanted to make him aware of the dangers lurking, even though he managed to defeat the dungeon boss earlier.

Just then, Vael's gaze widened as he looked at me, and his crying stopped instantly.

Shouts "Dad!" the ones that came from it contained a sense of relief and happiness that was hard to express.

However, I decided to focus on the situation before me.

I stood in front of the crystal humanoid creature, Lithos, who had just undergone a transformation into a size smaller than before, almost as tall as myself.

However, the truly shocking thing was the strange words coming out of Lithos' mouth.

He seemed to be trying to make a cynical joke about the origin of Vael and me.

I raised an eyebrow coldly, dealing with such baseless ridicule.

"Huh?! Daddy?! you damn lizards dare to kidnap angels in the domain of the gods? And impregnate? Are you sure it's your son? Just look at that stupid angel, looking different from you! Very funny HAHAHAHAHA," said Lithos with a cynical tone that was not worth hearing, while mocking Vael with a sharp look.

I only responded with a cold expression, as if ignoring this senseless scorn.

Hm...

"Domain god? So, in this world there are real gods and angels, and they live in the Domain or realm of the gods. Hmm, this world is too vast," I murmured in my heart, shocked by this new information.

While I was still in consideration, Vael responded with deep anger to Lithos' ridicule.

His response was sharp and full of emotion, making him prepare to attack again. However, I felt the need to take over the situation.

I gestured to Vael with my eyes, trying to calm him down and stop him before he took an uncontrollable action.

However, Vael's reaction was very strong, he wanted to move forward aggressively.

Quickly, I looked at him sharply, showing him that I wanted him to lower his weapon.

However, the conversation came to a halt as Vael spoke, and I used it as an opportunity to speak.

"But, father-," he said, but I immediately cut him with a sharp look.

I tried to understand his emotions, but this situation requires more calm control.

"B-good a-dad," said Vael in a trembling voice, following my orders and putting his weapon back into his dimension storage room.
