The Dungeon Master's
Chapter 205 - The Holy City

...The Holy Kingdom of Celestine...

...Outside of Livia...

“Are you sure they brought him here?” I asked the lady's Wooden Elf. He wore a dark black robe from me that covered his entire body and head.

“Very sure.” Reply with firmness.

I just nodded at the answer and immediately noticed what was in front of me.

A city….

With a white wall. Behind the wall there are some very tall buildings with many towers. A building…. It is called the church.

Not only that, the population in this city is very dense. Even so, not a single merchant was seen in this city. All trade affairs were settled by military forces deep in the borders of this Kingdom.

After preparing myself, I immediately stood up and stepped out of this forest.

‘Sreett!!’

“What do you think you'll do?” I asked in a cynical tone while blocking that Wooden Elf.

“I must avenge my people! I should...”

“Stupid. This was the territory of humans who deeply hated the existence of monsters. Entering that place is like committing suicide to you. That includes you guys, Lucien, Cathy, Rianne.” My reply cut his words.

Elin who had just been silent seemed to start standing up.

“Just leave this matter to both of us. Take it easy, we will save and kill as many enemies as possible.” Said Elin with a faint smile.

“Three of you, stay here. Lucien, be alert if I call you at any time.” I said while emptying my Soul Container. It's not a problem. I'm just trying to be vigilant because this is foreign territory to me.

If only they knew my true strength, then my career in this game world would be over soon.

“Are you ready, Elin?” I said while wearing a silver mask with a blue square-shaped pattern.

“Of course.” Reply Elin while doing the same with me.

Soon after, we walked to enter this place. A place that has a sacred label. Of course, Elin and I had to queue up together with the other newcomers to conduct the examination.

As we approach the gate….

“Remove that mask and tell me where you're from.” Said one of the guards.

I also obeyed him while using my [Clairvoyant] skill to peek at his status.

[Ferris]

[Ras : Man]

[Level :96]

‘Weak once...’ I thought to myself while letting the guard examine me.

In the end, they let me and Elin in.

“Please. Keep your attitude when you are in town.” Said the guard while opening the way.

“Troubles once...” Whisper Elin to me in a soft voice.

“Sincerely, they have been very careful since their defeat when attacking Lesta.” City Reply with a soft tone.

We both went around this incredible city. Its size even matched the Royal Capital of Farna which was Forgia even though this Livia City was not the Capital of the Celestine Holy Kingdom.

Building by building….

We both checked everything until it went dark.

“Sialang. Isn't there nothing here?” I was upset while sitting in a city park. The only lighting available is the lanterns found on some corners of the street.

“Besabarlah. They may be hiding well. Now, should we rest?” Asked Elin while smiling mischievously at me.

But I immediately brushed it off and countered.

“Let's rest. We have to keep looking for a forging…. Wait.”

“Hah? What's up?” Elin asked confusedly hearing my behavior.

I didn't answer Elin's question. In fact, I ignored it and focused on thinking about something. A place I haven't tried at all.

“Elin. I don't think you need to come. It will just make you sick.” I said as I stood up from the wooden chair then immediately put on my silver mask.

“A-what?! Nah! I'll come with you!” Shouted Elin annoyed.

“You sure? There's no turning back after you've been.” I asked again to make sure.

Elin only nodded a few times and approached me.

“Then…. Prepare your heart.”

We walked in the dark tonight.

The goal is somewhere I never even thought of. It is not too far from the park.

A place….

“Eric? Isn't this the Church?” Elin asked in confusion.

“Didn't the Elves say that the one who brought their people was the representative of the Goddess? I never thought that they would blatantly do this.” Reply with a flat tone. I also prepared my [Oracle Staff].

“Magic Missile.” I said briefly as I pointed my wand at the tightly locked door of the church.

‘Duarrr!’

Along with the explosion, the door of this church was smashed and opened the way to both of us.

There's nothing in this big room. There are only rows of chairs and statues of the Goddess that they worship. But by the time we both tried to enter it deeper....

There is a room in the basement of this church. A room that was covered by a large iron door that seemed to start rusting.

I immediately smashed the big door with the [Fire Blast] skill without amplification.

'Duuuaarrr!'

The door was blown to pieces after receiving the huge explosion of fire.

But what's in front of us…. No. gabe. I've prepared myself for this. Just how about Elin?

I also looked towards him.

Next to me was a little girl who had fallen on the ground. He covered his mouth as if he wanted to vomit. Not only that, her beautiful eyes opened as wide as possible and were flooded with tears.

The cause is very simple.

“Holy apanya. Aren't you guys much uglier than wild beasts?” I said softly as I stepped my feet into the building.

Hundreds of people inside were shocked by the door's destruction. Even more so after seeing myself enter this huge room.

“Si-who?! Pe-keeper!!” Shouted one of the bald men who did not even have a single piece of cloth on his body. He seemed annoyed that I had suddenly come to disturb his pleasure.

“Tu-wait a minute!! My gun!!!”

“Whoever! Ce-quick singkirka..”.

Dozens of magic bullets from the [Magic Missile] skill had shot towards their heads. Most of them died instantly. Even so, some of them are able to avoid well and safely.

I also stepped deeper into this room.

‘Tap! Taps! Kraakk!!’

The sound of my footsteps sounded so loud inside this large, silent room.

But I remained silent and did not show the slightest expression despite being covered by this silver mask.

‘Wuuoosh!! Sraasshh!!’

One of the men who ran saw me shoot with an arrow. But all of that was in vain because the passive effect of this silver mask of mine could strike any long-range attack that dealt damage below 3,000 points with purple lightning.

‘Daaarr! Daarr!’

Small flashes appeared before me for grabbing a few arrows.

“A-what…. Who are you?!” Shouted one of the Men with long hair while wearing his white robe decorated by some golden ornaments.

A few moments passed….

I just fell silent while observing the circumstances around this room.

Observing enemies? No. gabe….

The enemy in this place is not a problem at all. Even if I wanted to, I could burn down this building along with the thousands of people around it.

But I don't care about that.

It was because all my thoughts had been focused on something.

Around the room that was supposed to be the place to pray, there were dozens of young women lying helpless. They have a variety of different characteristics.

Some appear to have long pointed ears. Some of them look like the Draconic race I once encountered in the Ruderioss ruins. The rest were women of a race I had never seen before.

Despite the differences, they all have one thing in common. It was an incredible amount of wounds on their bodies.

I approached one of the women lying helpless.

“To... please a... ku...” Said one of the women in a very soft voice. There was not a single piece of cloth covering his body that had been filled with those scars.

Hearing that, I just nodded slowly then stood up and used my Area skill.

“Healing Area...”.

Instantly, a huge magic circle appeared and covered almost this entire room. All those who were injured, be it friends or opponents, were immediately healed.

While me?

I went back to that woman. His whole body seemed to heal slowly. Although, some of the wounds seem unable to disappear perfectly so that they leave scars. Simultaneously, I took out dozens of pieces of cloth from my inventory and gave them to him.

After the atmosphere improved enough, I asked a very simple thing.

“How should I reply to the treatment of these savage animals for you?”
