Chapter 74 - The Unexpected

Elixir.

It is the rarest herb in the world Re:Life. It is a liquid that can be drunk. Because the value of this liquid is very valuable, the bottle is also very quality.

Effects of Elixir? Distinguished into several.

For example, Elixir Agility would increase the Agility Growth Stats of a person who drank it by 1 point. And for other statuses as well.

Elixir qualities are also differentiated into several. For those who give 1 point, it is referred to as Low Elixir. Medium Elixir will give 2 points while High Elixir can give 3 points.

Because Growth Point is very difficult to obtain and is the most important status for everyone both Player and NPC, the existence of Elixir is very valuable.

This potion could only be obtained from the completion of a high-level mission or hunting an extremely difficult and rare Boss. Elixir can also be created by a Player or NPC who possesses high-level Alchemist abilities. Of course people who have the ability to make Elixir are very rare.

The price of each Elixir? For Low Elixir at least starting at 80,000 to 100,000 gold coins. That's why anyone lucky enough to acquire Elixir would become rich in an instant if they sold it. Most of them will drink it for themselves.

But above all, there was one thing neither the Player nor the NPC knew.

Forbidden Elixir's.

A forbidden Elixir that has a far different effect than existing Elixir. The effect varies depending on the material used in the manufacture. But most of the effects have a bad effect on those who drink it.

“What are you here for? Have you destroyed that city?!” Evan asked with a very horrible look.

The two skeletal figures simply replied by gritting their teeth. It is only natural that they do not have the tongue and vocal cords to speak. Although it sounded absurd, Evan was able to understand it.

“What? The appearance of the Inquisitors?! Why are they there?! What is Evalina doing?!” Shouted Evan furiously. His eyes glared at the two skeletons before him sharply.

“All right, I don't care anymore! Besides, now I can reach it! With this power!!! Hahaha..” Instantly Evan's angry face turned full of laughter while watching the glass bottle before him.

“By using this.. then I can…. Hahaha!!” He shouted while looking at the ceiling of the cave.

After a few hours of travel, I finally got to where it all started. Dungeon Origins. It's been a long time since I left this place. I also immediately entered the cave in the Alpa Mountains.

The entrance was destroyed by the Inquisitor's forces. Even the labyrinth I created for defense was already flattened to the ground. Origin City which was on the 1st floor was also already flattened to the ground.

Everyone who sees this place will definitely be on their feet soon. But I continued my steps until I got closer to the end of this first floor. Behind the ruins of the existing building, there is a fairly large staircase that connects the 1st floor with the 2nd floor.

A moment of red light engulfed my entire view. Because it was so bright and dazzling to the eyes, I also used both of my arms to cover it. Until without me knowing, there was another voice that also made me nostalgic.

“I've been looking forward to your resurrection. Dungeon Lord, Eric.” Said a girl with long blonde hair who was currently sitting opposite me.

“You... if not mistaken you are named... Asmodeus?” My reply to the girl.

“Hoo... It seems you still remember my great name! Good then!”

“Uh... Who exactly are you? Why am I here?” Many confusion.

“My name is Asmodeus! A Demon Queen!” He shouted while standing from his seat. He also crossed both arms on his chest. After being well noticed, the girl's ears were slightly taper. Is this what you call an Elf? At least that's what I've heard.

“Eh?! Demon Queen?!” I was shocked to hear it. Not wanting to cause any more trouble with anyone, I immediately behaved respectfully to him. Good thing Oliver always gives me an example of how to respect other people every day.

“I'm sorry for not being aware of your majesty, O Demon Queen Asmodeus.” I said while kneeling before him.

“For a human being, this attitude of yours is very good! L like it! But it's a pity that I'm not currently a Queen you need to respect.” Reply Asmodeus with a sweet smile.

“Eh? What does it mean?”

Asmodeus then tells his story.

She was a former Demon Queen who controlled a huge territory. He was also the closest Devil to the title of Emperor who would rule over all Devils in the underworld. It was all thanks to his immense strength as well as his extremely powerful subordinates. As a Devil from the Vampire race, this achievement was not a surprise.

But unfortunately fate says something else. The rest of the Demon Lords and Queens did not like him who had so much power. Therefore, they all formed an alliance to subvert Asmodeus. After hundreds of years of fierce warfare, Asmodeus lost almost all of his power.

Asmodeus chose to search for humans because his existence in the underworld was already considered non-existent. If He appeared in the underworld, then he would definitely be hunted. With his strength now greatly weakened, death was certain to await him.

But man is very naive and weak in his view. Those who have the potential to become strong subordinates have a high nature of justice. Those who conform to Asmodeus' wishes are weak to his standards. In the end, he began to give up.

Until one day, he received a demon call from the human world through Skill : Demon Summoning. A lowly call aimed at low-level demons. Of course it made him angry. But then he realized the potential power of his caller.

But fate just played with him. After a long time finally finding a human with potential, he saw the human will soon die by a representative of the Goddess.

Shortly after receiving the call, Asmodeus was greatly disappointed. He thought about returning to the underworld. But he realized it. This man is not an ordinary man, but an immortal man who will come back to life after his death. Someone from another world! At least that was the view of the NPCs towards the Player.

He immediately helped the man by saving his skills. It was because Asmodeus understood very well that the figure before him would rise again. To make it easier to rediscover the human, Asmodeus installed a contract magic as a marker.

And this is the end.

I stood in front of him.

Seeing his pitiful figure.

“I beg Eric! Nah! Dungeon Lord! Please protect me inside your Dungeon until my power returns! I beg...” Say Asmodeus as he welds to me.

“Have stopped all that. I've understood your situation so stop whining.” Reply to him.

After that, a notification from the system appeared in front of me.

“Then you too! Call me Deus!” Reply Asmodeus with a carefree smile. Seeing his current appearance I became doubtful. Was she really a demon or just a cheerful girl?

“Alright, Deus. Now.... how do we get back to my Dungeon?” Ask him.

“If I knew how to go to the human world without going through the demon summoning Skill, then I would have been hiding there since time immemorial.” Reply Deus while closing his eyes.

“Eh?! So now we both...”.

“Yes. You're stuck here with me. Now quickly think about how we can go from this underworld!” Deus said as if ordering something easy.

I could only fall to the ground, lamenting my current fate.
