...That's because chapter .5 is just a distraction from the main plot....

'Why did it become like this?' I ask myself.

'If you remember, it all started with this letter. Damned letter that ruined this family.'

Lina muttered to herself while tearing apart the piece of paper in her hand.

On the paper, a glimpse of the announcement of the value of Rina who was ranked number one in the elite school. Under the announcement of grades there was an invitation to Rina to take an exclusive class.

The actual cost of this class is Rp. 30 million per month. However, since Rina ranked first, she got waivers to Rp. 12 million per month.

'I wish I had never given this letter to Mom and Dad....'

Tears flowed down her cheeks which started to redden.

Yes, Rina knows things that her brother Erik does not know. Every morning before Erik woke up, their parents were always arguing about the cost of Rina's class. It was the afternoon before Erik got home. His father was busy looking for items to sell while his mother was busy contacting everyone to borrow money.

Every time Rina says that she does not need to go to that class, she is always yelled at and scolded by her Father while mentioning Erik's name as a failed child.

"If you don't get into that class and get a regular education then you can fail and become like Erik!"

About that was the kind of scorn that was given to Erik.

'But brother also has struggled as well as possible.he never even took a single dollar from his salary and immediately gave everything to me. But why do you always behave like that to your sister?'

'I just don't want to trouble anyone.'

'Although Father and Mother managed to obtain a loan or sell something and could pay for this month, then what about the following months?'

'Are we going to live on the streets because of me?'

'Why?'

The burden of his mind is great, but well hidden behind the sweet smile that He shows every day.

Every day the house feels like hell. The quarrel between Father and Mother, Father and son debated what should not be necessary. If I don't go to class, that doesn't mean I can't live. Why doesn't anyone understand this?

That is not a burden that should be borne by a 15-year-old teenager. Nevertheless, he was able to survive.

Until it all collapsed.

When the father kicked his brother out of the house before listening to his explanation.

Not only that, even the father beat his brother like garbage.

'Hasn't sister struggled all this time as well? Wh why? Why should I be expelled?'

The phone he placed on the table vibrated and lit up indicating an incoming notification.

[I'm fine Rina. You better follow what Dad and Mom say. Fight, don't give up.]

A message from her brother who was just beaten up and kicked out of the house.

Tears that have started to dry back flow. He tried to encourage himself to return the message.

[Indeed an older brother who can't be expected! Throwing away work for a game? It was fitting that my brother be expelled from the house! Oh yes, before worrying about me, think about your condition!]

Lina did not want to make her sister become more worried so she decided to fake her feelings. Behind the message that looked cheerful and full of ridicule, Rina's tears were now unable to stop.

The next day, a transport truck came in front of the house.

The father actually sells Re:Life equipment, including VR capsules, computers, and even beds. My sister's room is completely empty.

I who was in front of my parents tried my hardest to hold back my tears and widen my smile.

"Look at this Rina. By selling equipment from that stupid boy we can meet the cost of your first month and there is still 1 million Rupiah left. We'll use it to celebrate our success!"

"Yes, Dad."

That was all I could say and immediately ran out. I can no longer hold back these tears. All the way to school I kept wiping my red eyes.

All my classmates asked about me. But I only answered because it was just decided by my boyfriend. Haha.... If only I had time for that.

'Krrriying!!!'

The bell rang loud and long, signaling the class was over. All students and workers can go home. It was just me, who was still wandering around this desolate school environment.

'Only for this.'

I hold the door to a large room.

Above the door was the inscription 'Exclusive Class'.

'Just for this. everything....'

I can no longer afford it. I couldn't hold back all the emotions I was feeling. My heart was torn to shreds. I held my chest, trying to ease this pain. But it's useless.

'Because of me, Brother, Father, Mother....'

I've been standing inside the 4th floor classroom. There's no one here. Just me, and the rest of my feelings.

Step by step, I approached the end of this class.

Go to a window that is still open.

Both of my hands grabbed the side of the window, my feet trying to climb up.

'Ah, Big Brother, I should at least apologize to him first.'

Immediately I pulled out the phone in my pocket and typed a message to my brother.

[Sister, I'm sorry if I've been bad to you all this time. Please make up with Mom and Dad. Also, please let me be selfish at least this time.]

To clarify the situation, I also took a picture that was in front of me.

Shortly after sending the message, my consciousness began to disappear.

I let myself go to the wind that blew through that window. I entrusted everything to him.

The wind greeted me gently and led me to my desired destination.

'Death'
