The Dungeon Master's
Chapter 2 - Daily Activities

Two months have passed since the day of the national exam. We all graduated from High School.

Many apply to famous colleges. There are also those who enter college without exams or commonly called invitation lines.

There are also those who decide to work directly for the sake of seeking fortune.

I belong to the group that works directly.

My daily? Unostentatious.

In the morning I went to DoinMart and worked as a cashier. Although the work is boring, the pay is quite good and not so tiring.

4 O'clock in the afternoon indicates that my shift is over and I can go home.

Even though my father scolded me so wonderfully, now he's pretty good to me. Maybe it's because I've started working and want to help my family financially.

Yes, unlike me, my 3-year-old sister below me is quite smart. I don't mind giving up my salary to finance my sister's needs.

After all, my entire need has been met. The food? It was prepared by my mother. A residence? Sure there is.

Therefore, as long as I can be of little use to the family I do not mind it.

Besides, now I'm free to play Re:Life. Maybe because I'm working?

I was also preparing to enter that VR capsule. The electricity cost of this device is quite large. However, I have already paid it with my own salary so that is not a problem.

After entering the capsule, my consciousness moved and entered into the virtual world.

The view looks pretty simple. Rocks, mountains, and barren.

That's where my character is now.

I opened my status window to look around.

【Name : Eric】

Level 17

Race : Human

Health Point 4675

Where is Point :680

Stamina Point: 1,088

Status Growth :

Str : 7

Agi 4

Int : 4

Vit 9

Sta 5

Dex 1

For information of each stat

Strength (STR): 1 Basic ATK, 2 Stamina Points

Agility (AGI): Slightly increase the speed of action

Intelligence (INT): 10 Mana Points, 1.25 Basic Magic Power

Vitality (VIT): 25 Health Points, 0.5 Defense

Stamina (STA): 10 Health Points, 10 Stamina Points

Dexterity (DEX): Improves the quality of items made

The health point will determine how many attacks from the enemy are acceptable. If it reaches 0 then the player will die.

Which point will determine how many skills or magic can be used. In other words, it is the fuel of skill use.

This game uses a growth system. That is every level up then there will be an increase in status based on the growth you have.

All players start with the same growth, which is a total of 30 growth points that can be allocated as they please with a limit of at least 1 point in one of the growth stats. However, there are several ways in this game to increase growth points such as secret missions, high-level dangerous missions, and by continuing to practice in this world.

The class or job system is also not in this game. However, it is replaced with a mastery or mastery system.

In other words, every player can be anything as long as he is engaged in a field.

If the player continuously uses the sword then the mastery level of the sword technique will increase and open the special skill of the technique.

With this system can create freedom from the name of a job or class. So that a swordsman can also practice using magic. The skill of each player will depend on his diligence in honing a field.

And here I am.

Mastery :

Sword Technique: Beginner lv. 4

Shield Technique: Beginner lv. 2

Magic Techniques: Beginner lv. 3

Mining Technique: Intermediate lv. 7

Farming Techniques: Beginner lv. 9

Fishing Technique: Beginner lv. 6

There was absolutely no strong skill in the field of battle. As a result I was just a laborer in the game world.

Pretty weird, isn't it?

My job is not to say my style of play in Re:Life is to mine for 10 more hours (1 hour in the real world) and then sell the results to the market.

Besides that I also farm on vacant land around these mountains.

The outcome?

6 Silver coins in 10 hours of mining and 80 silver coins at harvest time which takes at least 3 months in the game.

Not a bad result, right?

If converted into rupiah, then :

6 silver \= 6000 rupiah.

The level of currency in this world is

1 copper \= 10 rupiah

100 copper \= 1 silver

100 silver \= 1 gold

Getting 6,000 rupiah in an hour is quite tempting. Not to mention thinking about the maintenance costs of my equipment. Maybe in the end only 1,000 rupiah per hour playing Re:Life.

But it's not a problem. Wh why? Because this is just a side job at the same time refreshing by playing games.

I dug today too. Keep digging into these rock mountains. Untiringly I continued to dig in search of precious metals.

Sometimes I find a piece of copper or silver and it makes me happy because it can be sold quite expensive. Lf it doesn't? I only found very cheap iron ore.

As I continued to dig, suddenly the pickaxe I was using hit a very hard object.

It's only natural for me because I've been digging this place for 2 months more real-world time, even though it's only 1 or 2 hours a day, but I think it's been a long time. It's possible that I've reached the hard part of this mountain range.

My curiosity peaked when I slightly saw the sparkle behind the rock.

I dug it with all my might and what I found really surprised me.

I can't even speak anymore.

Yeah, what I found was...

A fucking book covered in iron.
