The Dungeon Master's
Chapter 263 - FFA PvP 16

Angie seemed to be smiling very widely as soon as she knew the space filled with treasure.

His mind had drifted to and fro, imagining himself acquiring new weapons and equipment. Whatever it is, he will wear it considering all his current equipment has been damaged.

"Eric I've decided to take the spear!" Angie shouted with great enthusiasm.

Even so, Eric just fell silent on the spot.

He lowered his head and faced the ground.

His hand grasped the wooden bow sword that seemed as if it could be destroyed at any moment.

Not only that, he seemed to bite his own lips to cause damage to himself.

"Eric?" Angie asked puzzled as to why Eric was displeased after seeing this incredible treasure room.

This treasure room was one of the hidden locations on this Competition Island. The developer deliberately put some secrets in the world that only lives for 4 days. All of that aims to balance between the Player who gets a lot of support from the Supporters with those who are not but good at playing.

One example is Angie who seems to be wasting her time on the first day, who instead finds a legendary blacksmith who made her a weapon.

Return to the current state....

"Yahoooooooooooooooo!!!"

Eric shouted out very loudly while looking at the already dark sky and only illuminated by the crescent moon.

"Wow, Eric. Calm yourself. What's going on?" Angie asked in surprise after seeing Eric's reaction.

"I can't bring all these gold coins to the real world of Re:Life right?! Then why are you guys showing all this to me you fucking Developer!!! If only I could bring some, then I wouldn't have much trouble fighting in this competition!!!"

Eric also vented all his anger because all the wealth in front of him, completely unreachable whatever He did.

...In the real world...

...The Central Developer Office in America...

"Buahaha! Look at that guy!"

"Bas crazy, why is he still thinking about money in the middle of that competition?" Said a young man who was monitoring the condition of the match with the acceleration of the video footage that he changed at will.

A white-haired man who looked so old was about to speak.

He is one of the key figures in the development of a virtual world so real that it is considered impossible.

"The guy was very interesting. He was completely aware of the irony that lay before him." Frederrick, one of the 4 main developers of the Genesis supercomputer.

"Mr Frederrick, you must be kidding me. That guy?" Reply to a blonde woman who was neatly tied up and wearing glasses.

The old Frederrick just smiled as he sipped his favorite warm coffee again. Soon after, he spoke again.

"You know? I've been monitoring that Eric player ever since he gained Summoner powers. I even asked Genesis to predict himself 8 times. But all the Genesis predictions that were even close to 100% accurate were crumbling before him."

"No way! Aren't there only 6 players in this world who far surpassed Genesis' predictions? I admit, how perfect Genesis is, he can still make mistakes. But that far?" Ask the woman back.

"You may not have included Eric's personality factor alone, Frederrick." Reply to another man who is also his age.

But Frederrick shook his head lightly.

Soon after, he pressed a few buttons on his phone.

At that very instant, a hologram figure appeared that resembled a human. Or rather a girl with silver hair color that is so beautiful with a suit that seems futuristic.

"You called me, sir?" Said the hologram girl.

"Genesis, predict some of the following on a player named Eric."

Frederrick immediately explained all the parameters. Including asking all developers and also Re:Life officials to make predictions based on their knowledge and experience.

"Parameters, data, and all information is successfully processed. The winning rate of the player named Eric in the Free For All Player Versus Player Competition is 0.03% if he is still with Angie and obtained one of the sacred weapons in the treasure room. This calculation includes the assumption that Player Eric will meet Player ID 3284 and also ID 1956 which has a great chance to cross paths with him.

If it is assumed that Eric managed to get rid of five players from Europe, and had to face other players including Angie, the chances of winning are only 2.78%.

Comparing the data to the predictions I made 7 hours 48 minutes and 27 seconds ago. Eric's winning chances in this competition are 6.49%."

Genesis ended his explanation by closing his eyes and asked.

"Is there anything else I can help you with, sir?"

Frederrick shook his head and asked for one of these copies of Genesis consciousness to return.

The hologram girl disappeared as if she had never existed before.

At that moment....

"So you mean, Eric's gonna win even with that bad prediction?" Ask the blonde woman.

"No-no.... I didn't mean to say that at all. What I'm trying to tell you is the fact that Eric initially had a pretty good chance of winning, getting knocked out."

A light debate ensued among all developers.

They do not want to believe that an ordinary player must be aligned with 5 other players who are considered as 'miracles' because it is far beyond Genesis predictions.

Just like what happened to Angie.

At first, Genesis predicted that Angie would reach her current level within 4 years. But the reality is inversely proportional.

Angie became one of the highest-level people in the world in just one year.

So are the other four people who are all almost impossible to predict and can only be expressed with the phrase "Just look and enjoy all their actions".

Because the debate never ended, they finally decided to bet.

Simple betting to work overtime for a few days to work on a project that has been running for more than 3 years. That is the 'Full Augmented Reality' project by utilizing Genesis Version two.

The winner? Will get a few days off in the midst of their work.

And with madness equal to his genius....

"Eric will win this match and bring all the prizes."

That's the prediction given by one of the four most geniuses in the world that could even give birth to the world's strongest supercomputer, Genesis.

Even so, no one believes such nonsense as victory when facing the European Players.

...World Competitions...

...Treasure Room, at the bottom of the canyon...

"Eric! All these fixtures are Unique level! You know, I've always used normal levels all this time because I don't have the money to buy higher levels!" Angie shouted with great enthusiasm.

He ran to and fro to check all the loot.

At the end of the room filled with gold, there was an altar that seemed to be guarded by two human-sized statues carrying Scimitar-type swords.

"Eric, it looks like there'll be a bigger prize! Hurry up and grab all the weapons and gear around here just in case the statue can move!" Angie shouted while continuously changing her equipment. He seems to check the appearance of each equipment both the sword and armor.

While Eric had not made a sound since, he could only walk limp like a zombie. His mouth was gaping with width, his steps looked heavy and lethargic and his arms were hanging as if there was no energy at all.

"Five hundred and eighty-four million gold coins.... Aaaaah if only I could bring all this.... Aaah... why?"

With that limp voice, Eric seemed to have received the greatest damage during this competition.
