The Eternity: The Colour of Fate
Chapter 43

Chapter 43: Deer of Wisdom, Falan

"Welcome back. Nonius-no, should I replace it? Azalea Raka?" A faint voice resounded, waking me from sleep.

I opened my eyes. Black color dominates, so dark and dark.

"Who are you? Where's me?"

"It's just free, isn't it? You can't even see me right now" said the voice.

"Then, how am I supposed to see you?"

"Look within yourself"

I frowned, confused. "Huh?"

"Close your eyes, and look inside your own body. Feel all the energy flowing through your body, that way, you can see me"

I obeyed his orders, closing my eyes.

Glitter flickering colorful light popping up. Flowing and occasionally spinning inside my body.

"Did you see it? If so, find yourself among them"

"My soul?" My words are stunned.

A strange light caught my attention. The light is not too bright, tends to be dim with a deep blue color. Among them a lot of light, only that light is alone, not moving at all. As if he were separate from the other lights, no one approached or moved away. All that light passed through him just like that, as if he did not exist.

"I don't know if it's included or not. But there's one thing that interests me"

I approached him, the closer, the blue light turned darker and darker.

A familiar feeling arose as I became so close to the light that it now turned pitch-black.

"Cool" I muttered as I touched my hand to the black layer that looked transparent, reflecting the landscape of the universe I was in.

I was shocked when my hand fell into that light.

Thud!

I landed, entering into a vast field with a transparent background everywhere.

"This ..."

I put my feet up, it felt like I was in the previous universe, just that everything felt smaller with a very wide range. The colorful lights looked like stars scattered in the sky and reflected by a field below me.

"So what?"

"Ah, welcome back" said a familiar voice, but it seemed to be getting closer. No longer echoing as before.

When the sound sounded, the rotating star paused for a moment, until a moment later it returned to spin in the opposite direction and accelerated as it formed a pattern.

The series of light was moving faster, now it only looked like colorful strands of thread dancing in the sky.

The thread then formed a shape, it was a deer with beautiful branching horns.

The corner of my mouth twitched, "You? So you were the one talking to me?" I doubt.

He nodded, "that's right. I am Falan, symbol of wisdom and knowledge."

"So ... What really happened? Why am I here?"

"That's right. Do you know where you are right now?"

I snorted annoyedly at her words, "Huh? Did I not hear wrong? Isn't that what I asked you!?"

"Hmm? Really true?" He pretended to forget.

"That's right. I'm a symbol of wisdom."

"Do you feel anything familiar here?"

I realized, "that's right. Where is this place? It was so familiar and so close. But I can't remember it at all." I said while recalling the familiar sensation that had appeared on my fingertips.

"Do you believe that man has the power to escape destiny?"

The corner of my mouth twitched, "Do I look like I care? You didn't answer my question just now, so do I have to answer your question as well?"

"Then answer my question first"

"You know why you ask me?"

"Hmm? Looks like I'll have to give up this time huh?"

"So?"

"Then do you believe that you're in the center of your soul right now?"

"That's right. There's a prophecy about you." He raised his hand, displaying a hologram-like spectrum of light displaying a scene.

"Here says if you're a child without magic. Then, if you awaken your magic, you will die at a young age. Then, here also says that if you are unlikely to have a long life. And you, are a symbol of misfortune. That's"

"What do you think of this?"

"Ha ha's. I can't believe I even have a prophecy. I don't want to say it's stupid, silly, or anything like that" I said with a small laugh.

"The fact says you've got it all out"

"Ah. That is, then, let me ask you something."

"I listened to him."

"Aren't you an omniscient person? Then why can't you even find out and ask me?"

"That's right. After all, the human heart cannot be guessed. They look like a shallow, very shallow lake. But, when you dip both of your legs in there, you'll drown."

"Then, is there any guarantee that the mind does not change after it is read? After all, guessing into someone's thoughts, isn't that disrespectful?"

"That's right." Mouth lightly.

I took a deep breath, staring at the glowing deer before me coldly.

"Then, how is it different from fate?" Quietest.

He seemed a little surprised when he heard my words.

"Don't it make no difference? There is no guarantee that destiny does not change upon sight."

"Who would know about it? No destiny can be known before it is lived, right? We don't know how far we're going if we don't try? Even if it looks right, actually it's not really right, is it?"

"Destiny, the future, the hearts and minds of men, it's all a secret. When it was read, it was an illusion. Didn't you?"

He looked surprised, but then, curling his lips, smiled.

"You have a good thought. Well, I agree, everything's gonna change. Know it? You're the first."

"Hmm? Firrst? What's?"

"You're the first."

I frowned at my confused forehead,

His smile grew even higher, "In the end, you gave me the answer I expected. Thanks"

"ah! Also true. It's rude if I don't give you a gift, isn't it? If so ... The rest I leave to you" he said at the end of the meeting.
