Chapter 38.5: Prey & Prey

The troops immediately returned to their original positions.

The archers were ready to pull their bows, the swordmen were ready to clear their anger. The spearmen are ready to blow their grudges in battle.

Unlike the previous one, I decided to stay in the ranks of the archers. After all, my drastically reduced mana would actually hinder my troops, I thought. I decided to act only as necessary.

The Archers began to lift his bow, and focused his gaze.

So did the Mages who were preparing to cast their spells.

While the fighters started clenching their fists tightly, Swordman grasped his sword and tugged it as wide as possible. The Spearman who prepared to advance and shake the enemy's defenses.

After which, dozens of thousands of demons and beasts appeared ready for battle.

Again a dense black fog again enveloped the battlefield, which this time was much more concentrated and spacious.

The enemy troops arrived, they were so many, obviously this was not an ordinary counterattack that Purma had sent, but rather by other demons. The mausuh army continued to advance at a fairly fast pace.

I took a long breath.

My right hand raised, giving an aba to attack simultaneously. The cavalrymen raced against their horses and began to blend in.

The battle between the troops began.

The witches continued to support them, not to be left behind the healers who continued to treat the troops. They continued to fight endlessly - just for the sake of living. Among them there were even those who ran out of their mana.

Although the healers and support continued to treat their wounds and increase their stamina but still, they were exhausted.

Not just their physicality, but their mental well-being.
