Chapter 131: Amnesia

One month more than three days. Kenzi returns to sleep on Siena's side after he persuades Helion to wait at home with Yu and Samuel. The man tried not to fall asleep but somehow he could not resist his drowsiness. During his time in Siena's room, the man was just daydreaming, occasionally going out of the room just to get some fresh air and unwind his thoughts.

Kenzi woke up from his sleep when he felt something move in his hair. Slowly he woke up widening his eyes staring at Siena's fingers moving. His eyes sparkled and hoped that this time Siena really moved not just ordinary motor movements. Kenzi immediately pressed the button to call the Doctor and Sister.

"What's going on?" Dr Chiang lin approached Kenzi who was standing agitatedly.

"Doctor, his hand is moving. I'm sure this movement isn't just a false alarm." Kenzi tried to calm down.

"You better wait outside." Dr Chiang Lin did the physical checks as he used to do. Dr Chiang Lin asked Kenzi to wait outside.

"A, what?" Kenzi looked at Doctor Chiang Lin with a puzzled look. Then one of the sisters pulled her slowly towards the door. "What's wrong with my wife?" Dr Chiang lin did not answer Kenzi's question and immediately checked on Siena.

When Kenzi saw Siena he immediately realized that the two normally closed eyes were wide open. Staring blankly at the sky of the room. Kenzi was glued to the door of Siena's room, the nurse did not allow her to enter until the examination was over and Kenzi could only wait anxiously.

Kenzi reached into his pants pocket and called Yu to come to the hospital. When he finished, he was again glued to the door of Siena's room.

Shortly afterwards from a distance he saw Yu half-running towards him. "What's wrong?"

"Siena is conscious." Kenzi muttered softly.

"really?" Yu looked at Kenzi's face with sparkling eyes. "Then? why are you standing here?"

"Dr asked me to wait here." Kenzi took a deep breath, then turned his head towards Yu. They sat in chairs waiting until the examination was over.

"Darling.." Kenzi is approaching Siena. "You're finally awake."

Siena turned her head towards Kenzi with both eyebrows intertwined. His eyes looked at Kenzi from head to toe. After that he turned his gaze to Yu who was standing beside Kenzi.

"Siena.." said Yu.

But Siena just kept quiet, looking at the two of them, making Yu and Kenzi look at each other looking at Siena confused. "Darling?" greet Kenzi again.

"What's? you're who?" siena was confused.

"What?" Yu asked puzzledly then looked at Kenzi who was still standing with a puzzled look next to him. "He's Kenzi, your husband."

"Kenzi? I don't know him, I don't even know you." Siena doesn't seem to be lying or joking when she says it. He looked at Kenzi with a scrutinizing and puzzled look.

Yu looked at Dr Chiang Lin who was in the corner of the room, waiting for his patient's reaction. "Dr Chiang Lin."

Dr Chiang Lin then approached Siena for an examination. "I'll check again."

"My head is dizzy." Siena's voice sounded hoarse and dry.

"I'll check on you." Dr Chiang Lin began standard checks such as checking Siena's eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Then he asked a standard question. "Something seems to be a problem."

"He doesn't remember me?" kenzi's voice sounded trembling.

"What do you mean?" Siena looked at Yu confusedly. He forgot something, his gaze turned to the Doctor and the figure of the man who had been silently watching. "Who is he?"

"Kenzi? I don't know her" Siena insisted.

"He's Kenzi" said Yu a little annoyed. "For God's sake, you forgot your own husband!"

"Siena! i'm your husband!"

"I don't know you, since when did I get married?" Kenzi suddenly felt a pain in his heart when he saw the gaze that Siena gave him. There is no more love, warmth, longing in it, warmth that gives the impression that he is a man who always understands it. All is lost in place with the gaze that Siena first gave to a stranger.

"I don't know you" Siena said with a piercing glare at Kenzi's heart.

"What are you talking about Siena?" kenzi lirih.

Yu was very surprised and confused, then he spoke to Dr Chiang Lin. While Kenzi walked out of the room enduring the pain in his heart

Yu gave Kenzi a cup of coffee and sat down on the chair next to Kenzi. "Dr Chiang lin said that his head was hit hard enough. He forgot most of the traumatic memories in his life. Post-traumatic amnesia. This situation can be temporary or permanent."

Kenzi chewed his coffee in silence, refusing to chimed in on Yu's words. "Kenzi rest easy, he'll remember you again."

"You can't stop hoping." Yu patted Kenzi's shoulder.

"You know how I feel?" Kenzi stared straight at the cup he had in his grasp.

"I know," said Yu lowering his head.

"I waited for him for days, hoping he would come to his senses. Until he realized and forgot me." Kenzi turned his face away. He remembered Siena's words.

They say it's Post-traumatic amnesia. Siena had forgotten many things since that incident. A day or years earlier, there was one thing that was completely wiped out of Siena's mind. Everything about the man he had loved and was willing to sacrifice his life had been wiped from his mind. Now there is only a blank memory without any content that used to be in the memory of Kenzi. Will he forget his son Helion?

If Siena forgets Kenzi, it does not rule out the possibility that the woman will forget her own son.

"We'll see, after Siena we take it home. Does he not remember his son?" I don't know, the two are equally confused, and don't know how to convince Siena. While the woman was amnesiac.

Kenzi took a deep breath, lowering his head.

Kenzi felt himself like the villain he used to be when he entered Siena's nursery silent. She never felt this much as I did when she walked into Siena's room before Siena came to her senses from her coma. He stared at the nightly flowers he had placed on the table. Then he tidied up the goods on the table to take home.

Kenzi stood worried and sad by Siena's bed, staring at her sleeping face. Medical devices have been removed from the bed. No more breathing apparatus covering her face, or Siena's life-connecting cable. Ironically, when Siena woke up, she did not remember a single memory of Kenzi.

Kenzi took a deep breath bowing his head for a moment, then turned back, but his hand was strangled by Siena.

"Darling.." Kenzi said softly seeing Siena holding her hand.

"Who are you, actually" Siena asked blankly.
