Chapter 136: second chance

Day three.

Kenzi's last day before being picked up by the police. The man was still fixated beside his wife who was getting weaker by the day. Kenzi has started giving up everything, if it should happen to him. The family he was trying to protect

"I believe in justice, but no one believes me" Marsya bowed her head for a moment.

"I know, you're just doing your job." Kenzi extended both hands before Marsya.

Marsya took a deep breath and took out the handcuffs, and put them on Kenzi's hands. The man looked back at Siena's face, then bent down to kiss her forehead long enough. "After my departure, I hope you wake up. For your son's sake, dear." Kenzi smiled faintly.

"I love you, so much."

Kenzi stood up straight again, his feet up, while he stared silently at Samuel and Rei, his eyes glazed over. "Boss."

"Take my wife and son." After speaking like that, he again stepped out of the room, following Yu from behind.

"Kenzi!" exclaimed Rei ran after them.

Rei looked at Kenzi for quite a while, smiled faintly then nodded his head directly hugging Kenzi tightly. No words were spoken from Rei's mouth. The hug Rei gave was enough to strengthen Kenzi's heart and give her confidence. That Rei and the others would guard his wife and son with their lives. Rei took off his embrace patting Kenzi on the shoulder for a moment.

With a pushy look, Rei chuckled as he wiped the tears that almost fell on his cheek. Staring at Kenzi's back until he was lost from his sight. Then he went back to Siena's nursery and stood looking at Siena's face. Samuel stood facing the wall with both hands clutching the wall.

"Siena wake! I know you heard my words," said Rei, his voice trembling. "Look at your husband, he needs you right now. Wake up Siena, wake up!"

Samuel looked back at Siena's best friend, his shoulders shaking the sign that he was crying. Samuel dropped his body sitting on the floor, rubbing his coarse hair. He feels very useless, unable to help Kenzi, the man who had been the boss and brother for him.

Day seven.

Kenzi's trial was conducted. Yu, Marsya and the lawyer who helped Kenzi are still struggling to provide evidence that Kenzi is innocent in the murder of a significant other in the city.

Kenzi sat in the defendant's seat and gave the correct testimony. But their cunning and a paid witness witness were presented to incriminate Kenzi.

As Kenzi and the others struggle to free Kenzi from the law that ensnared him. While in the hospital, Samuel and Keenan were in a panic because the heart rate monitor showed Siena's heartbeat was getting weaker and the woman was short of breath.

"Lord, don't take my Sien. Return him to our middle" said Rei Lirih.

Samuel stood staring into the window of the room watching the Doctor and the nurse were trying hard to restore Siena's heartbeat back to normal. And the Helion that Keenan brought along also Akira kept crying on Keenan's lap.

The heart rate monitor does not show that Siena's heart has stopped beating. Then the doctor again tried to restore it by using a heart shock device. Unfortunately, the doctor's efforts were unsuccessful. Samuel who was paying attention shook his head, screaming histhetically made Rei and the others panic.

"No! Miss, wakeup!"

"What's going on?" Rei immediately approached staring into the room, then he opened the door running towards the Doctor, followed by the others. "Dok, what's going on!"

The doctor sighed deeply, "sorry, we've tried our best. But God wants something else. Miss Siena is gone."

"No way!" pekik Rei and Keenan in unison. Rei bent his body shaking Siena's body. The life support tool has not been released by the nurse. "Siena's awake!"

"Mother...! Mother ...! helion's screams attempted to revolt from Keenan's lap. Want to be close to her mother.

" Sir..! the boy screamed and cried. Although he did not understand what happened to his mother, but seeing Rei and Keenan hysterically made Helion cry. Slowly Keenan lowered Helion's body on the bed.

"Mother.wake up.we go home Mom..!" Helion hugged Siena's body tightly while crying bitterly. The Doctor and Sister standing in the corner of the room gave room to them. Samuel and Akira hugged each other in silence.

A few seconds of silence no words spoken there was only a broken cry of sadness heard. Sometimes Helion whines to wake her mother. Who would have thought that God would do anything else in His own way. Siena's heart rate monitor went off.

"Doctor!" peekkik Rei's.

The Doctor and the Sister ask Keenan to keep Helion away from Siena's body. Then they went back to a thorough examination. "Excellent," said the Doctor turned towards the Sister.

"Dok, what's going on?" keenan asked with hope that Siena would come back to life.

"Thank God.." Keenan and the others rubbed their faces and said a series of prayers for the second chance God had given Siena.

"Dear, don't cry. Your mother's fine." Keenan kiss cheeks Helion babe.

Kenzi's trial went well, but the man was named as a suspect. Kenzi was placed in temporary custody for the final three days of trial. Yu could not say another word, there was no word of motivation that he gave. Because it'll be free for Kenzi. After getting word from the hospital, Yu went straight to the hospital to confirm the bad news he received.

While Kenzi sat in the corner of the holding room with a blank look. No matter how long he daydreamed, it was night outside but Kenzi could not see the beautiful afternoon or the face of the woman he loved. Kenzi doesn't know Siena anymore, because Yu doesn't tell him what.

Kenzi had given up, he was in despair. He had no hope for his freedom anymore. Kenzi smiled faintly calling out the name 'Siena'.

"Darling, if one day you realize. And I'm no longer beside you. Trust me, I will always be in your heart, with you forever." Kenzi was soaked in grief and despair, the man who had been poor all the way across the criminal underworld, now curled up in a prisoner's corner with all the memories left in his mind. Like a lover who always greets every second 'how's news'

Yu stood glued leaning against the wall of Siena's room in the company of Rei who was sitting on the chair lowered his head.

"Darling.."

Slowly Rei raised his face looking at Siena's face. His eyes were round, his mouth gaping staring in disbelief.

"Darling.."

"Siena? Siena are you conscious?!" disbelief and happiness mixed into one. Rei laughed faintly, turning his head towards Yu who was walking towards him.

"Siena's sober, call the doctor!"

"A, appa?" yu kelu said. Then he rushed to push the button to call the Doctor or Sister.

"Darling.." said Siena softly, her eyes closed.

"What's wrong?" doctor Chiang Lin asked.

Rei immediately stood up and pointed at Siena. "Siena realized Doc, she was talking!" rei said it was indescribable that she was as happy as Yu.

"You wait outside."

Rei and Yu nodded quickly, then left the room. They waited outside with anxious hope. Rei walked back and forth waiting for the Doctor's examination to be completed, while Yu sat on the chair closed his eyes and prayed.

Thirty minutes passed, Doctor came out of the room. Yu and Rei came straight over. "How's Doc?" ask Yu.

"God has returned Miss Siena to your midst. He's not amnesiac anymore."

"Creally Doc?" Rei held the Doctor's arm.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Thank you Doc, thank you." Rei went straight into the room to follow Yu.

"Siena.." said Rei.

Siena turned her face to look at Rei and Yu. "You're here? where's husband?" siena looked at Rei.

Rei glanced towards Yu. Then Yu sat down on the chair to calm Siena down. "You'd better take a break, we'll talk tomorrow morning."

"My husband is fine, isn't he? then where's my son?" siena asked looking at Rei confusedly.

"Your son is fine, he's at home. Maybe you're asleep. Tomorrow I bring Helion here." Rei smiled gently rubbed Siena's hand.

Siena was just silent, she looked up at the sky. Trying to remember the last crash. "Liviane.."

"Calm down Siena, she's dead." Yu speech.
