Chapter 17: Illusions

The next morning after Siena delivered the children to the orphanage. Siena immediately searched for a house to rent. With Reegan's help, it didn't take long for Siena to get a rented house not far from Reegan's house.

"Thank you for all your help" said Siena standing on the porch of the house she had just visited.

"Not free," Reegan replied expressionlessly.

Siena frowned looking at Reegan cluelessly, "you mean?"

"What I did today, you have to pay for it."

"Pay? is that true?" siena looked at Reegan not like it.

"Yes, you have to pay with me dinner" whispered Reegan in Siena's ear.

"Oh," said Siena flatly.

"You think I need your money?" Reegan chuckled, then she walked back slowly. "I'll pick you up at seven." He left the house of Siena.

Siena heaved a sigh of relief, "I thought I told you to pay with money." Siena gave a small laugh and then went back into the house.

Meanwhile at Grandpa Hardi's house, Reegan was sitting in front of a monitor. Hardi's grandfather walks into Reegan's office with Alya.

"Grandfather is happy, you finally comply with grandfather's request," said Kek Hardi standing beside Reegan while touching Reegan's shoulder.

Reegan looked at Hardi's cake expressionlessly, she just smiled thinly at Hardi's cake and Alya then looked back at the monitor without giving the slightest comment.

"Siena is a good girl, Mama likes independent girls like her," said Alya.

Reegan was still silent and did not respond to the words of her Grandpa and Mama. The next moment he spoke up. "I've done well, all Siena's left is.whether she will accept me or not."

"Mama flavor..Siena will definitely accept you dear," said Alya.

"Not necessarily Ma," Reegan stood up from the chair and walked towards the other table, picking up the documents on the table. "Maybe he's got a girlfriend." Reegan walked up and sat back in the chair.

"I don't think it's possible that Siena has a lover." Grandpa Hardi sat down on Reegan's side chair.

"Where do you know?" Reegan turned her head for a moment towards Hardi's cake.

"Grandfather is already sepuh le.of course grandfather can know the nature and character of a person," reply cake Hardi.

"Mama agrees with what your grandfather said" Alya said.

"Oh," Reegan patted her on the forehead and looked at the watch.

"What's wrong?" ask Alya.

"I forgot Ma. Tonight I wanted to have dinner with Siena" Reegan replied.

"Yes?"

Reegan nodded her head, she got up from her seat. "I'll pass grandfather's wish."

"Grandfather is happy to hear it, let's get ready quickly," said Hardi's grandfather staring at Reegan.

"Yes cake..Ma. I'll change my clothes first."

"Yes dear," Alya patted Reegan on the back.

Reegan immediately stepped into the room, and prepared to pick up Siena.

Arriving in Siena's yard, Reegan exits the car door and finds Siena talking to Keenan. Reegan walked over.

Keenan and Siena realize Reegan's arrival, they both turn towards Reegan.

"What are you doing here?" tanya Reegan stared dislikefully at Keenan.

"It's none of your business" Keenan replied.

"Of course it's none of my business, but you already have Maria, won't it matter if she sees you two?" Reegan smiled sinisterly looking towards Keenan.

"Hey! whatchu mean?" Keenan was offended by Reegan's words.

"Keenan, you better go home.trust me.I'm fine," Siena cut.

Keenan turned his gaze to look at Siena, "but Si?"

Siena nodded her head, "we were friends since childhood, you don't have to apologize much less explain it to me. I can understand Keenan."

"Go home." said Siena quietly.

"Alright, you take good care of yourself." Keenan smiled at Siena and then he turned to look at Reegan for a moment and then he stepped out of Siena's house with a sense of relief for the sacking of Siena the other day.

"What's wrong?" reegan asked her feet to follow Siena from behind, then they sat on the porch of the house.

"Nothing what," jawan Siena lowered her head.

"Say Siena, what's wrong?" Reegan forced.

Siena raised her face looking at Reegan. "I was expelled from Keenan's company at Maria's request."

Reegan widened her eyes looking at Siena, she could not believe what she had just said, "impossible."

"Believe sukur.didn't believe also no problem.there's no benefit for me you believe or not." Siena leaned her body on the chair.

Reegan stared fixedly at Siena's face, there was doubt in Reegan's heart. Is Mary really that bad? but Siena doesn't seem to be lying. "OK, forget about this problem.what about our dinner?" reegan asked to switch the conversation.

"Males, I'm no longer tasteful," replied Siena flatly.

"But you owe me" said Reegan shifting her seat beside Siena.

"I'll pay you next time" replied Siena.

"No, it has to be now!" sahut Reegan looked at Siena's face.

"You're why the hell?" Siena opened her eyes looking at Reegan.

"I? you want to know why?" ask Reegan.

Siena shrugged both of her shoulders watching Reegan's beautiful face.

"Because I like you, I want you to be my lover.and I don't want to know.you have to accept me tonight as well.and there can't be a word of rejection, period!"

Siena bengong listened to the words of Reegan who just kept talking without any pause. The next second Siena laughed out loud.

Reegan silently watched Siena and said, "your loud laughter is a sign that you have accepted me to be your lover.and tonight you are officially my lover."

Siena stopped laughing, then she fell silent staring at Reegan's freak, "you're not sick, are you?" ask Siena.

"You think I'm crazy?" Reegan asked back.

Siena shrugged her shoulders, "who knows."

"Enak only." he said slowly.

For a moment they were silent and looked at each other.

"Eumm" Siena blinked her eyes, she lowered her head for a moment. "You can't do that, I haven't given you an answer."

"Here you go" replied Reegan.

"When?"

"So, with your laugh, that's enough for me to answer." Reegan smiled faintly looking towards Siena.

"Strange.." said Siena.

"You're a freak." Reegan leaned her body on the chair.

"I don't want to" said Siena.

"No what?" reegan asked, glancing for a moment towards Siena.

"No want-?" Siena stopped her words.

"No dinner, right? it's okay.it's good money" replied Reegan.

"Basic stingy!" sahut Siena's.

"Whatever!"

"Squeen!" say Siena again.

For a long time they laughed out loud, they laughed at each other. There was a sense of warmth in the hearts of both. Are they really in love? or a mere comfort?
