Chapter 40: The Agreement

Pak Karta's funeral was held in the morning, Keenan and Dinda attended the funeral with Rei. While Siena continued to try to calm Hana who did not stop crying. Until the funeral was completed smoothly.

"Siena, I'll go home first.if you need my help. Okay?" said Keenan.

"Yes, thank you.." Siena stood hugging Dinda for a moment.

"Click on the departure of grandfather.the brother who is patient."

Siena nodded her head, "thank you Dinda.." Siena smiled faintly.

Keenan rubbed Siena's back for a moment, then they stepped out of the house between Siena.

While Hana continued to cry in the dining room she sat down with Rei. "Tante, make Grandpa's departure public."

"Rei, of course aunt adverts the departure of grandfather.but..?" Hannah did not continue her words.

"I knew..Siena right?"

Hana nodded her head, "who will take care of Siena again.tante was very afraid of Rei.." said Hana cupped her own face.

"There's me, auntie.tante don't have to worry.I'll keep Siena away from the guy no matter how." Rei stood up, he poured mineral water into the glass.

"But Rei.You know for yourself don't you? who is she?" Hana's getting upset.

"Aunty..I know.but until when will the aunt keep quiet?" Rei thrust the glass in front of Hana.

"It's all aunty's fault, just mark that time.."

"What's the matter ma?" cut Siena.

Hana and Rei turned to Siena, "no dear.meaning mama.if we are not late to bring grandfather to the hospital," Hana replied lying.

"Don't blame yourself" Siena said. He sat down in the chair next to Hannah. "Do you want to rest?"

Hana nodded her head, "yes dear.." Hana stood up, she looked at Rei for a moment, then stepped foot into her private room.

"Any.." muttered Siena.

"What a bitch is Si?" ask Rei.

Siena looked at Rei for a moment, "it's okay."

Rei silently watched Siena's dreamy face. "Siena is very sorry, she has absolutely no idea what is happening in this house" Rei said in his heart.

"Siena.."

"Yes? what's up?" Siena looked at Rei's face.

"Looks like you're tired, take a break.friend your mama.." said Rei.

"Okay Rei, thank you, you always help us." Siena smiled, she moved her legs towards Hana's room.

The next morning Siena was ready to go to the office to replace the late Pak Karta. "For ma.." said Siena peeked at Hana's cheek.

"Dear on, baby" replied Hana staring at Siena.

"Mama's okay?" ask Siena.

"Dear, don't think about mama.'

Hana stood up, she put warm chocolate into the glass, and she put it in front of Siena. " Drink and spend.."

"Thank you ma." said Siena. Slowly he picked up the warm chocolate and gently wiped it.

"Siena, take good care of yourself dear."

Siena placed the glass on the table, she frowned at Hana's statement. "Why ma?

" It's okay baby, can't.mama worry about her own daughter?" Hana smiled faintly.

"No ma.." Siena stood up and hugged Hana from behind. He kissed Hana's right cheek gently. "I went to work first ma.mama good good at home ya."

Hana nodded her head, "you too dear."

Siena let go of his embrace, and then she stepped out of the house into the office.

Thirty minutes passed, Siena finally arrived at the company yard where she worked. He exited the car door, looking at Keenan who was waving at him.

"Siena!" exciting Keenan.

"You're ten minutes late" said Keenan, pointing to his watch.

"Sorry, I woke up late" Siena said.

"Let's go in!" Keenan walked along with Siena. Arriving at the office, Keenan introduced Siena to the entire staff.

"This is Ms. Siena, the granddaughter of Mr. Karta who owns this company" Keenan told all his staff.

"Mommy's morning..! say they're in unison.

Siena lowered her head for a moment, she smilingly looked at all of them.

"Wait!"

Siena and Keenan turned their heads towards the two men wearing black suits who had been standing behind them.

"Sir Kenzi? Adrian?" keenan lowered his head for a moment. Siena just silently watched Keenan and the two men before her. I think he's seen both of them.

"Keenan, you know what? Mr. Kenzi is the largest shareholder in the company, while Pak Karta has a debt that he cannot pay off. So this company will be taken over completely by Mr. Kenzi" Adrian told Keenan.

"Sorry Adrian, about that I do not know," replied Keenan. But here, Miss Siena still has rights in this company" Keenan replied.

"Look, you still don't understand. We better talk in the office. And call Rei as the witness of the covenant letter signed by Karta!" adrian again.

"Good!" sahut Keenan's. Then he asked the secretary to call Rei to come to the office. While Adrian, Kenzi, first wait in the meeting room.

Shortly afterwards Rei came straight to Siena and Keenan in the room.

"Rei, what's going on?" siena was confused.

Rei was speechless, "nothing what Siena is," Rei replied.

"We'd better talk in the meeting room to be clear, Keenan you're coming with me" Rei said.

"Good.." - Keenan.

"And you're Siena, wait here."

"But Rei, I need to know" said Siena

"No need, let me take care of it myself," Rei replied passing by following Keenan.

They set their feet toward the meeting room. The cold and haughty Kenzi sat casually next to Adrian and two lawyers.

They sat opposite Kenzi and the others. A moment of staring at each other without anyone talking. Kenzi stared coldly at Rei as if wanting to swallow him alive. While Rei looked at Kenzi with great caution.

"Okay, we'll start now!" adrian stood up. He stepped up close to two lawyers and issued several accounts receivable documents and a letter of agreement between the Karta and Kenzi pacts.

Adrian took the document, and then presented it to Rei to learn what the content of the letter of agreement between the pact of Karta and Kenzi, fifteen years ago.

Rei stared back at Kenzi who was still staring at him. Slowly open the document and read it slowly. Rei's eyes widened many times while reading the letter of the agreement. He closed the document after he finished reading it.

"Then what do you want Kenzi?" rei asked to throw the document in front of Kenzi.

Kenzi was just silent without expression, he was more interested in watching Siena from behind the glass of the room he had been waiting for based on the agreement sir.

"We don't have to explain anymore, do we?" adrian said.

"You know the content of the treaty, if Hana or the pact of Karta violates this treaty. We do not hesitate to put Ms. Hana in jail and you have to pay the debt of the Karta pact within one week," explained Adrian. "If no..Siena we'll take it in exchange."

"I know, you guys purposely framed Pak Karta and Bu Hana didn't you?" rei looked at Kenzi and Adrian.

Kenzi was just silent, he smiled obliquely looking at Rei. "Protect him as much as you can Rei." Kenzi stood up and left the room, followed by Adrian.

Rei sat pensively, he remembered all the words Mr. Karta had said when he asked Rei to look for Siena who was taken away by his father when he was a baby.

"It's all Hana's fault, if she wasn't involved with that mafia syndicate, maybe I wouldn't have asked Surya to leave the house with the baby. I didn't expect Hana's actions would result in her daughter being a bet at the gambling table. I've been trying to repay Hana's debt and get back everything Hana's used to gambling. But shit again Hana's acting. Instead, he eliminated the man and took the money from the man he killed. I can't possibly give my only granddaughter to make up for Hana's debts and mistakes."

Rei sighed deeply, now he did not know what to do to save Siena. Slowly he stood up and left the room.
