Chapter 54: The Past

It has been three days that Kenzi is rarely at home, he is busy taking care of his move to another country. It can be used by Siena to escape, especially the guard against her is slightly reduced. I don't know what Kenzi has in mind, so he gives a little freedom for Siena to move around in the house. It doesn't always have to be in a locked room.

Even so, he cannot go outside even if only on the terrace. Tight care remains in place outside the home with the exit always in lockdown.

Siena sat pensively in her room, lazing on the bed. Why leave the room if not allowed out of the house, he thought.

He looked up at the sky of the room, remembering his mother, Hana. A mother will look at her son or daughter while sleeping. A mother will do anything for her child. A mother is willing to be hurt and suffer for her child. A mother will be a father at once if needed. A Mother has no limit on the love she gives to her child. But Hana? Her mother had sold her daughter since infancy to an unknown man. But Hana is still her mother. Siena often misses and loves Hana until the end of her death.

Siena did not feel as if she was asleep until the afternoon. He awoke to the noise of a storm from the ground floor of Kenzi's house. "What's outside?" siena Mumbles.

Faintly he heard someone calling the Doctor home. "Who's sick?" Siena got off the bed and walked out of the room. From the top floor he looked down, some of his men pacing back and forth from the inside out of the house. A male doctor was seen walking hurriedly between two burly men to Kenzi's private room.

"Kenzi's sick?" thought Siena. "Thank God, die, all of you" Siena said.

Siena was stunned for a long time, and finally she decided to see what was really going on with Kenzi. He slowly walked down the stairs to the ground floor. Arriving in front of Kenzi's room, he asked one of Kenzi's men named Sandi. "What's wrong with Kenzi?" siena looked towards the closed door.

"Mr Kenzi was shot by a non.." replied Sandi.

"Foot? who shot Kenzi?" ask Siena again.

"It's best that the lady goes back into the room, I'm afraid Mr. Kenzi is angry." Sandi lowered her head for a moment.

"It's okay, I want to know how things are going" Siena replied as she sat in the chair.

Thirty minutes passed, Siena was still sitting waiting at the door. The next minute the sound of the room door being opened from inside. The doctor came out and told Siena that the bullet lodged in Kenzi's shoulder had been removed.

"How is he doing Doc?" ask Siena.

"Please see for yourself inside, Miss Siena," replied Dr. Kenzi.

"Well Doc.." Siena stepped foot into the room. He saw Kenzi sitting on the bed staring at Siena.

Slowly Siena walked up to Kenzi and sat down on the chair, "what are you doing? is it better?" ask Siena.

Kenzi smiled sarcastically at Siena, "is this not what you want? if I die, you'll be free?" answer Kenzi.

"Yes, you're right.I do want that. But there's no harm if I ask, right?"

"You're right." Kenzi chuckled, slowly descending from the top of the bed.

With reflexes, Siena held Kenzi's arm and helped him to get off the top of the bed, "do you need anything? let me get it."

For a moment Kenzi was silent looking at Siena's face, "what?" siena did not understand.

"Are you starting to like me, Siena?" ask Kenzi back.

Siena immediately pulled back her hand from Kenzi's arm. He shook his head quickly, "no!"

Kenzi laughed at the look on Siena's face that blushed in embarrassment, "essential woman!" sahut Kenzi shook his head. He stood up and put his feet out of the room. While Siena was still glued to the edge of the bed.

"Shandi, Diego! you find out who's behind the attack!" exclaimed Kenzi gave the order.

Kenzi went to his study. He sits in front of the monitor screen and accesses a name. Kenzi's eyes focused on the screen.

"Adrian?!" kenzi was surprised. "If I knew, you'd be like this. I'm gonna cut you out." Kenzi kicked off his desk. He is infuriated to learn that Adrian has successfully built a new syndicate by selling drugs and illegal weapons. To Kenzi's surprise, it turns out that behind the shooting was Adrian. The person he had believed and had Kenzi forgiven when Adrian did the sale of illegal drugs. Although he is a mobster but behind Kenzi's character. He hated the most drugs that corrupted people.

Kenzi immediately remembered his past, he witnessed his drunken father and gambling madness have ruined the lives of his mother and sister. It's not without reason why Kenzi is like this.

He took a deep breath, getting up from the chair. He turned off the monitor screen, then stepped back into his private room. As he opens the door to the room, Kenzi finds Siena falling asleep on her bed. Slowly he approached Siena, "apparently you're still here waiting for me" he murmured.

Kenzi pulled out a blanket to cover Siena's body, while he himself rested on the sofa.

While elsewhere, Rei and Keenan were sitting on the porch of the house. They're looking for an idea to free Siena.

"We still have time for Rei, to move to another country takes days until the letter is completed" Keenan said.

"What I'm worried about, we've run out of ideas" Rei replied annoyed at himself.

"Then, how else do we do?" ask Keenan.

For a moment Rei was silent, he thought hard to get an idea. "Aah!" exciting Keenan.

Rei frowned looking at Keenan, "why?"

"I got an idea!" sahut Keenan's.

"What?" rei asked, he shifted his seat closer to Keenan.

"We'll keep an eye on Kenzi's house or his club, when they come out with Siena. That's when our opportunity to take Siena's run with more careful calculation and planning" Keenan explained.

"You sure?" ask Rei.

Keenan was silent for a moment, "no." he said.

Rei patted his own forehead, " oh my goodness.'

"But we have to try it Rei.if we only think without action, how to know if our idea will work," said Keenan encouraging in his own ear.

"You have a point too, Ken..but..?"

"But what?" cut Keenan.

"Do you know where Kenzi is hiding Siena now?" ask Rei.

"If it's not at the club, it's at Kenzi's house." Keenan looked at the confused Rei.

"We'd better investigate tonight, too," Rei said.

"I agree, let's go!" sahut Keenan stands on Rei's tail. Finally they decided to investigate it at Kenzi's club.
