Chapter 39: Mystery of Karta's death

A week passed after Siena divorced Reegan. He still refuses to exercise any right. Though Keenan's best friend tries to persuade him to forget the man who betrayed him.

One morning Siena was startled by the sound of the Pact of Karta being angry, no matter who. Samar Siena could hear it from inside the room. The sound of the Karta pact grew higher and then the sound of goods being thrown to the floor.

"What's wrong with grandpa?"

Finally Siena got up and got down from the top of the bed to make sure what happened outside the room. He walked out of the room and looked around the living room. Seemed Pak Karta was sitting with a confused face. While next to him Hana tried to calm the pact Karta.

"What's wrong with grandpa?" siena said slowly. He walked closer to them.

"Grandfather why?" ask Siena.

He stared at the floor, a cell phone shattered on the floor. Apparently the sound of the dropped item was Grandpa's cell phone.

"Siena.." Pak Karta looked at Siena, and pulled Siena's hand to sit next to her. "Sit down, baby."

Siena sat staring at Pak Karta and Hana alternately, she saw a face of bewildered face. "you're okay?"

"Dear, we're fine" said Hana.

Siena frowned, "really? what then? that phone?"

"This kid, there's a client that pisses grandpa off. And grandfather needs experts to overcome the grandfather's company," said Pak Karta hesitated. He had turned his head towards Hana who lowered his head when Pak Karta spoke like that.

'Grandpa needs me to work there?" ask Siena.

Pak Karta nodded her head, "if you don't mind son."

"Certainly not Kek.." said Siena.

Siena smiled at the two of them who looked confused and still not satisfied with Siena's answer.

"Is there anything else I need to help you with?" ask Siena.

Pak Karta glanced for a moment at Hana.

"It seems like that was it, son." said Mr. Karta.

"Oh, grandfather doesn't need to be that loud.I definitely help grandfather.trust me.."

"Thank you dear," Hana walked over to Siena and sat down and hugged her tightly.

"Grandfather is hungry, how about we eat?" ask Pak Karta.

Hana took off her hug, "Siena, we'll eat first. Your grandfather is hungry."

"Good ma.." said Siena.

Hana stood up, followed by the pact of Karta. They walked together into the dining room. While Siena followed from behind while watching those who felt strange in Siena's eyes.

As they were having a quiet dinner, Siena opened the conversation. "Who called my grandfather? how angry is grandpa?" ask Siena.

Hana and Pak Karta stopped eating, they looked at each other for a moment and turned to look at Siena.

"oh, it doesn't matter you know son," replied the Karta pact.

"Siena, finish your meal first, son.." said Hana.

"Good ma'am.."

Siena lowered her head, she returned to eating quietly. While Pak Karta pulled the tissue and wiped her mouth. After that he stood up. "Grandpa rest first, grandpa's head feels dizzy."

Siena turned her face up, "is grandfather sick?" ask Siena.

"No dear, grandfather just needs a break."

Siena smiled, "good cake.."

Pak Karta stepped foot into her private room. Siena only watched the Karta pact until it closed the room door. Just as Siena was about to stand there was a shouting sound from inside the chamber of the Karta pact.

Siena and Hana looked at each other for a moment, then they ran to the chamber of the pact of Karta. When Hana opened the room door, Pak Karta was lying on the floor unconscious.

"Repo!" hana shouted directly towards Pak Karta.

"Grandfather why ma?" siena asked directly squatting in front of the alley Karta pact lying unconscious.

"Mama doesn't know baby, let's help your grandfather's foster mother." Siena nodded, then they lifted up the body of the Karta pact and placed it on the bed.

"Pa.wake pa.." said Hana patted the cheek of the Karta pact.

"Sir, grandpa's up.." Siena took the wind oil and rubbed it on the nose of the Karta pact. But the Pact of Karta is not also human.

"Darling, we're taking papa to the hospital now!" exclaim Hana.

Siena nodded her head, then Siena came down from the top of the bed to call the man Ujang household assistant to help Siena lift the body of the Karta pact to be taken to the nearest hospital.

Siena drove the car while Hana sat in the back tightly clutched the body of the Karta pact.

"Pa.bun pa.." said Hana while crying.

"Ma.quiet ma.." said Siena. He focused on the highway.

Shortly after they reached the hospital, Hana and Siena immediately brought the Card Pact to the ER to help the sisters.

Mr. Karta was immediately handled by the Doctor, while the two of them sat in the waiting room chair. Hana calls Rei to help them.

"Whose name?" ask Siena.

"Rei, mama called Rei." replied Hana her voice was shaking.

Siena looked at Hana's face, she saw a flash of fear in both of Hana's eyeballs. "You don't have to worry, Grandpa is fine" Siena hugged Hana.

"Yes, baby" said Hana.

Shortly saw Rei walking down the hospital hallway. Hana immediately stood up and approached Rei. Siena silently watched the two of them. Hana and Rei are talking seriously, but I don't know what they're talking about. Every now and then Hana and Rei turned their heads towards Siena in between their conversations. Soon they approached Siena.

"There's ap?" Siena did not continue her question, as the door of the room opened from the inside. Hana and the others immediately approached the Doctor.

"How is my papa Doc?" ask Hana.

"Sorry ma'am.the patient has a heart attack. And I was late to take her to the hospital" replied the doctor.

"I mean Doctor?" ask Rei.

"The patient has died since the trip" replied the doctor.

"Papa..Rei. papa.." said Hana. He went into the room screaming hysterically.

"Grandfather." said Siena softly. Just yesterday he could feel the affection of his grandfather after a long time apart. Now his grandfather had left him first.

"You calm down Siena.." Rei embraces Siena's shoulder, he invites Siena into the room staring at Hana who is crying hugging the body of the pact Karta.

Siena lowered Rei's hand from her shoulder, she walked slowly closer to Hana. "Grandfather." he said as he sobbed.

"Son.your grandfather is gone.." Hana hugged Siena tightly.

"Yes ma.mama calm down.." Siena rubbed Hana's back to calm down.

"Tante .. I'm in mourning" said Rei standing behind them.

"Yes Rei.." said Hana, she tearfully and then make Siena's embrace. "Papa.why did you leave Hana," said Hana staring intently at the face of Pak Karta who was no longer alive.

"Tante, we'd better take the Karta pact home as soon as possible" said Rei.

Hana nodded her head, "iya Rei.."
