Chapter 36: Love and lies

Siena sat in the garden behind the house looking at the orange-colored sky. Rei comes with Keenan to the house to invite Siena to celebrate Keenan's wedding anniversary.

Siena, who was unaware of their arrival, was very happy to see her best friend coming.

"Siena..are you daydreaming?" tanya Keenan sat on the chair along with Rei.

"Nothing.I'm just enjoying the afternoon."

Keenan chuckled, patting his own forehead. "Siena..Siena.you want to lie to me at any time.you will not be able to.because I know very well who my best friend is.." said Keenan.

"Yes, I'm fine." said Siena. "Yes, your tumbens are coming here.." Siena diverted the conversation.

"I want to invite you to my house tonight." said Keenan.

"What's wrong?" ask Siena.

"Today, my wedding anniversary, I want you to be present in the midst of my happiness Siena."

Siena was speechless, "but I can't Keenan, mama no one's guarding her." replied Siena.

"Well.Isn't there Sandra? you can come with Reegan, "rei interrupted.

"Sandra's been hospitalized for two days now.she's miscarried."

"Miscarriage!" say they're both in unison.

Siena nodded her head, "yes.miscarriage.."

Rei and Keenan looked at each other for a moment, "then? who's guarding Sandra?" ask Rei.

"Reegan!" sahut Siena's.

"I guessed it." Rei said inwardly. "Where is he treating? I mean which hospital?" ask Rei.

"He was treated at Kasih Bunda hospital next to this complex," Siena replied.

"Siena, it looks like I have to go home.I forgot that today there is a Client" Rei said. "Keenan, do you want to come home with me?" ask Rei to Keenan.

"No, I came home later.I want to have a chat with Siena first" Keenan replied.

"Alright, then excuse me Siena.." Rei stood up, looked at Siena for a moment and then he took his foot out of Siena's house.

"I have to find out to the hospital," Rei murmured in between steps. Then he got into the car to the hospital Siena mentioned earlier.

It didn't take long, Rei had already arrived at the hospital courtyard. He rushed in and asked where Sandra was in the room. After he got the information, Rei went straight to the room where Sandra was being treated. Rei did not go straight into the room. But he stood in front of the door peering through the glass staring at Sandra who was sitting on the bed in Reegan's embrace.

"I thought, what should I do?" said Rei slowly. Slowly he opened the door. She sees Reegan taking off her arms and descending from the bed when she realizes Rei's arrival.

"What are you doing here?" reegan asked, staring dislikefully.

"I should ask, what is the relationship between you?" ask Rei back.

"What do you mean?" reegan asked, looking away at Sandra.

"You don't have to pretend in front of me Reegan, I know what's going on between you." Rei stared intently at Sandra who lowered her head.

"If you're gonna take care of us, you better go!" Reegan pushed Rei's body back a few steps.

"What if he tells Siena about us?" sandra asked her eyes with glass.

"Here you go, don't think about it.Let it be my business." replied Reegan, she also actually started to worry if Rei told Siena.

"You'd better take him home. Who knows he'll tell Siena." Sandra asks Reegan to come home.

"All right, but you stay calm here.okay?"

Sandra nodded her head, she looked at Reegan who was walking out of the room.

"I hope he doesn't tell Siena."

Twenty minutes later, Reegan has arrived at her house. When he opened the door he found Siena sleeping in her room. "Siena.forgive me.forgive me."

Reegan closes the door again, but Siena wakes up and realizes Reegan is coming. "Darling, is that you?" ask Siena.

Reegan returns to Siena. "Yes, I'm home." replied Reegan sitting on the edge of the bed.

"What's wrong? who's moody? Sandra's fine, isn't she?" Siena looked at her husband's face

"Dear, he's better." Reegan stroking Siena's hair. "I'm sorry, I don't have time for you this late."

Siena frowned looking at Reegan, "why are you talking like that, have I ever complained? have I ever sued you? no, right?" Siena shifted her seat.

"Yes I know.even you never ask me for anything" Reegan said. "Darling.I'm hungry.I miss your cooking." Reegan kisses Siena.

Siena chuckled, "do you really miss my cooking? ah romantic once.." said Siena hugged Reegan.

Reegan frowned, "you said romantic? that little thing you say is romantic?" Reegan doesn't understand Siena's mind.

Siena nodded her head, her arms outstretched, rubbing Reegan's chest, "you know.happiness, comfort, and a romance are not just about a fancy gift..no dear..for me, the thing you miss about me is a romantic thing.." Siena smiled, she kissed Reegan's lips at a glance. Then he came down from the bed.

"I made dinner, you cleaned your body first."

Reegan nodded, watching Siena disappear from behind the door. "Siena.I just realized.it turns out you are different from other women.but.I have betrayed you.right now.I am in a very wrong position.I'm sorry I'm Siena.you're my wonderful wife, but I love Sandra too" Reegan murmured. He stood up and put his foot in the bathroom.

Ten minutes passed, Reegan was sitting in a chair with Siena, they were having dinner together after days of not doing it.

"Darling, your cooking is delicious." Reegan said as she chewed.

"Thank you, now you finish your meal.after that meet mama.maybe mama miss you..Have you been busy all this time?" said Siena.

"Tomorrow in the morning, I fear that my mother is asleep" Reegan replied.

"Siena..."

"Hem.." Siena looked at Reegan.

"It's okay," Reegan lowered her head, she meant to ask if Rei came to the house. But seeing Siena look ordinary, Reegan paused her intention to ask.

"I'm full" said Reegan.

"Yes already.if you want to rest first.I still have to finish the job."

Reegan took the mineral water on the table, then she drank it slowly. "I take a break first, yes" Reegan said as she placed the glass on the table.

"Yes, I'll catch up." Siena smiled faintly staring at Reegan leaving the dining room.
