Chapter 63: Choice

Siena paced back and forth on the porch, waiting for Kenzi and Chen Yen to arrive. Her hair was still a mess and the wedding dress she was wearing had not been changed.

"Calm down, miss." Samuel stood behind Siena.

"How am I supposed to calm down Sam, you guys are really crazy?" Siena turned her face to look at Samuel who was watching her.

"It looks like the boss has arrived!" Samuel came down from the porch of the house, as the car that Yeng Chen was driving entered the gate. Siena turned and followed Samuel from behind.

"How's boss?" Samuel immediately asked as Yeng Chen exited the car door, while Siena only watched from behind.

"The boss was shot." Yeng Chen opened the car door. Kenzi came straight out of the car door to Siena.

"You hurt?" Siena touched Kenzi's arm with a gunshot wound. "Sam, call the doctor!"

Sam nodded quickly, and called the doctor. Yeng Chen and Siena brought Kenzi to her private room.

"I told you, stop doing dangerous work! we better go back to Indonesia!" Siena opened the white shirt that Kenzi was wearing slowly. While Kenzi was just speechless listening to all the ramblings of Siena.

"Why do you see me like that? did I speak wrong? no, right?"

Kenzi smiled faintly looking at Siena, "you're worried about me again Siena?"

"of course! you must live, and take responsibility for all your actions against me! you gotit?! Siena pulled the shirt from Kenzi's body and placed it on the table.

"Why don't you want to admit to Siena?" kenzi asked sliding his body against the pillow.

"I have to admit what?!" siena said without looking at Kenzi's face, she was busy wiping the blood on Kenzi's arm with a tissue.

"Yes.admit that you love me, don't you?" Kenzi smiled at the smile on his lips.

"What?" Siena stared at Kenzi's horror. "Dream!" siena exclaimed as she pressed the tissue against the wound on Kenzi's arm, until a small groan was heard on Kenzi's lips.

Siena stood up and took her foot out of the room, leaving Kenzi in her room. "Bas stubborn," muttered Kenzi.

Shortly thereafter, the Doctor enters Kenzi's room with Samuel. Then the doctor treated the wound on Kenzi's arm and removed the bullet.

Outside the house, two police officers came to Kenzi's house to ask for information about the incident earlier this afternoon. Samuel gave a description of what happened. After getting a tip from Samuel, the two policemen left Kenzi's house. Samuel himself immediately went to Kenzi's lawyer to take care of the case.

Thirty minutes passed, the Doctor was done with his work. He returned to the Hospital in Yeng Chen.

While Kenzi himself sat pensively in his room. He thought about his work and the frightened look on Siena's face.

"It's not easy for me to get out of this network, but I don't want to lose you either, Siena." Kenzi smokes his cigarette inside, he rests his body on the chair.

"Livian himself will not let me live a quiet life, let alone my identity already known by the police. Big boss won't give me a chance." Kenzi put out his cigarette in the ashtray. He took a bottle of water on the table and drank it slowly.

"Siena, I won't let you go. I'd rather you make a savage animal meal than I see you with another man."

He put a bottle of drink on the table, "I have to make a choice, my job.or Siena."

I don't know how long Siena's been sitting in bed. He didn't even touch the food Akira brought this afternoon. He thought about his life and marriage this morning.

"Siena.." said Kenzi from the door. Siena turned towards Kenzi who was walking towards her. He squatted down in front of Siena grabbed both of his hands and squeezed gently.

"Are you okay," asked Kenzi gently.

Siena was silent, staring closely at Kenzi's eyes. Although Kenzi was a mafia but Siena could clearly see there was gentleness, calmness, and affection emanating from his eyes.

"No! I'm fine." Siena turned her face away.

"All right, now you're resting." Kenzi stood looking straight at Siena. "Good night.my doll."

Siena looked at Kenzi's face, thinking tonight Kenzi will do what he wants to her. But his guess was wrong, Kenzi stepped foot towards the door. Siena immediately stood up following Kenzi's steps.

"Where are you going? are your wounds no longer painful?" siena asked standing behind Kenzi.

Kenzi stopped his steps, he glanced for a moment at Siena, "you don't have to worry."

"Can we talk for a second?" siena said, bowing her head.

Kenzi turned to face Siena, crossing both hands on her chest. "What do you want to say?"

Siena walked over to Kenzi, "are you drunk?" ask Siena.

Kenzi let out a small laugh, he lowered his head for a moment and lowered his hand. "When I'm drunk, why? you scared?" ask Kenzi back. He grabbed Siena by the waist and held her tight.

"When do you live like this? I don't want to be like this. I want to go home." Siena releases Kenzi's embrace. He turned and walked towards the bed, and sat down.

"I don't know Siena," he walked up to Siena and sat down beside her.

"If you want to go home, I will. But not now." Kenzi tucked the hair in Siena's ear.

Siena looked at Kenzi's face, hesitatingly saying, "if you don't want to return me to Indonesia, I have one request."

"Say."

"Perse me."

"No Siena!' exclaimed Kenzi immediately stood firmly staring at Siena angrily.

"Kenzi!" Siena stand. "If you keep holding me here with you, you'll have trouble moving."

"I'll never let you go Siena! Kenzi grabbed Siena's arm.

"I know! your boss wants you dead, doesn't he?!"

Kenzi released the grip of his hand on Siena's arm. "Where do you know?"

"Kenzi, I know all about you, your habits, what you like and don't like!"

"Siena..me..?" Kenzi did not continue his words.

"Understand Kenzi, if you keep me. It's the same you risked your own life." Siena grabbed Kenzi's hand and squeezed it slowly.

Kenzi chuckled lightly at Siena, "you're talking like this on purpose aren't you? so I can let you go?".

Siena shook her head quickly "no Kenzi.no!"

"lik! you want to go free and see a guy named Rei, don't you?" Kenzi cupped Siena's face. "You're my wife, you're mine."

"I beg you to understand, what I say is true." Siena lowered Kenzi's hand from her face. But Kenzi was already overwhelmed with jealousy. He did not want to hear anything Siena said even if it was true. Kenzi lifted Siena's body and laid her on the bed.

"Kenzi, don't you do that to me. I beg you." Siena tried to push Kenzi's body over her.

For a moment Kenzi stared in Siena's two hopeful eyeballs, lest he touch her. Kenzi snorted in annoyance, he got up and got off the top of the bed. Without saying a word, he walked out of Siena's room.
