Chapter 28: The departure of Hardi's grandfather

Arriving at the office, Grandpa Hardi immediately met Restu the manager of the company. "Where's Maria?" ask kek Hardi.

"Sorry sir..Maria doesn't work here anymore" replied Restu.

"not working? how long has it been?" ask Kek Hardi.

"It's been two weeks" replied Restu.

"Then, who's replacing Maria?"

"Mrs Sandra's new secretary, Mr. Reegan, she's only been working here for two days, sir."

Kek Hardi nodded his head, "who was at the summit yesterday?" ask Mr. Hardi.

"Mom Sandra sir!" sahut Restu's.

"Well, where is he?"

"That's sir, he just came." Show Restu towards Sandra who just came closer.

"What's wrong?" sandra looked at Grandpa Hardi.

Grandpa Hardi noticed Sandra's sexy way of dressing, she screeched cynically looking at Sandra. "I want to talk to you, come to my room."

"Whose grandfather? sandra didn't know who Hardi's grandfather was.

" He's the principal owner of this company San" Sela Resru.

Sandra immediately nodded respectfully, "good sir.mari." he said politely.

They walked into Sandra's room, and Sandra invited Kek Hardi to sit down.

"No need, I just need your honesty" Kek Hardi told Sandra.

"What sir?" ask Sandra.

"If you're still at home working here, you're being honest with me, but if you're not at home working here, I can fire you today."

"But Sir?"

"Tell me what Reegan did last night?" hardi's cake cuts off Sandra's speech.

Sandra fell silent, she lowered her head, "you think you can lie to me, you snot yesterday afternoon" Hardi said in his heart.

"Say quick!" snatch Hardi's cake while hitting the table with his stick.

Sandra squealed in shock, "ba, good sir."

"We did a mistake last night sir.but we did it accidentally.because Mr. Reegan was drunk," said Sandra.

"I thought!" Grandpa Hardi hit the table with his stick. "You're outrageous!" kek Hardi's face turned grim and furious.

"Prepare yourself, I'll fire you!" Hardi immediately turned back, he continued to step foot with a feeling of anger. Even Hardi's cake ignored the workers who greeted him.

Arriving at home, Grandpa Hardi immediately met Reegan who was sitting on the balcony. While Siena was going to see the children of the orphanage after finishing taking care of Reegan's needs.

"Reegan! exclaim grandpa Hardi. Reegan was surprised he immediately woke up and looked at Grandpa Hardi.

" Sir, what is shouting?" greet Alya from the direction of the door approaching them.

"Ask your son! what did he do last night!" point Hardi's cake with a stick towards Reegan who lowered her head.

"Reegan, what have you done, baby?" ask Alya.

Reegan immediately rested at Alya's feet, making him clueless. "I'm sorry." said Reegan.

"What's the matter, baby?" alya asked, bowing her head to Reegan who was resting at her feet.

"She's done something unspeakable with Sandra, the new secretary at the top!" exclaim Grandpa Hardi. He deeply regrets that Reegan betrayed Siena.

"sorry ma.I was accidentally drunk."

Alya kept her feet away from Reegan, "you..did I teach you bad things, son?" alya's eyes glazed with glass, as a woman she knew how Siena would feel if she found out her husband was making love to another woman. "you're disappointed with you, son."

"I beg you.don't tell Siena.I really didn't accidentally." said Reegan, he stood folding his hands staring expectantly at Alya. But Alya is in a difficult position. Reegan's son, but as a woman he couldn't possibly keep his son's lies.

"I'll tell Siena!" exclaim grandpa Hardi. "I.would.mem-?" suddenly, Hardi's grandfather's heart arrived. He held his chest and collapsed onto the floor.

"Mr!" exclaim Alya.

"Grandfather!

Reegan immediately lifted Grandpa Hardi's body. "we're in the hospital ma.." Reegan takes Hardi's grandfather to the hospital with Alya.

Arriving at the hospital, Grandpa Hardi was immediately handled by the Doctor. Alya and Reegan wait outside. Alya called Siena to go home and followed her to the hospital.

Shortly thereafter, Siena was walking in a hurry in the hospital hallway.

"Ma, what's wrong with Grandpa?" ask Siena.

"The heart of my dear grandfather," said Alya sobbing hugging Siena.

"Couldn't you? isn't Grandpa okay this morning?" Siena let go of his embrace, "what's wrong.."

Alya glanced at Reegan who shook her head as a sign not to tell Siena, "mama doesn't know dear."

"Yes already.we pray ma.." said Siena smiling. Alya nodded her head.

Shortly after, the doctor came out of the room. Alya immediately approached the Doctor.

"Dok, how's my dad Doc?" alya asked with tears.

The doctor sighed deeply, "sorry ma'am.pak Hardi is gone."

"a, appa? couldn't be.." Alya hugged Siena.

"True ma'am, Mr. Hardi had a coronary heart attack," replied the Doctor.

"Bapaaack!" alya screeched straight into the room.

"Sorry.we've tried our best. But God wants something else."

"Thank you Doc" Siena replied, then she walked into the room with the Doctor. While Reegan stood. He felt guilty for his grandfather's death. Shortly after, he came in after them.

"Mr! wake sir!" alya's scream shook Grandpa Hardi's body.

"Ma.sabar ma.." interrupted Siena, hugging Alya from behind.

"Father.wake up sir." said Alya lirih.

"Grandfather.forgive me a cake.." muttered Reegan, she cried silently behind Siena.

"The body should be brought immediately to the funeral home" said the doctor.

"Okay Doc" replied Siena. At least among them. Only Elena looks stable.

After everything was taken care of, then they brought Grandpa Hardi's body using an ambulance.

Arriving at home, the sad news about Hardi's grandfather was heard by Pak Karta as well. He and his family came to serve and deliver Hardi's grandfather's body to the cemetery.

"Forgive Alya, sir." said Alya lirih hugging the tombstone. Siena kept trying to calm Alya down. While Reegan continues to regret her actions. He felt very guilty for causing Hardi's grandfather to die so soon.

"Patience boy." Karta told Reegan. "Siena, you should also advertise your grandfather."

Siena turned her head towards the pact of Karta, reflexively hugging her grandfather and sobbing in tears. "Grandfather is very kind and dear to me, cake.why God so quickly took Grandpa.." said Siena lirih.

Hana smiled happily, for the first time she was called Mother by her own daughter.
