The Mafia Bride

The Mafia Bride
Chapter 73: Disclaimer

Siena walked away, she was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief, seeing that Kenzi was fine. He sat on the edge of the bed regulating his irregular heartbeat and gathering his consciousness. Whatever happened this morning was just a dream. Siena tried to reassure herself as she climbed onto the bed.

"Mama.." Siena took a deep breath staring at the sky of the room. Slowly he closed his eyes trying to sleep even though it was difficult to shut.

From the direction of the room door Kenzi noticed Siena, he took a deep breath and closed the room door. After making sure Siena was asleep quietly, Kenzi went to see Samuel and Adrian. Adrian came back to Kenzi's house with a bit of grace in the living room. He sat in a chair with a flat face. Samuel didn't dare to talk, but Kenzi was angry.

"They not only wanted to get rid of me, but they were also looking for Siena's life" Kenzi said, staring at Samuel for a moment and lighting a cigar. Samuel just silently watched Kenzi light his cigar.

"Did I make a mistake?" Samuel still lowered his head, his eyes looking at the man before him. Kenzi is not like a tattooed man, he has a beautiful face with long hair and dark eyes.

Kenzi chuckled occasionally as he coughed in the smoke of a cigar. He looked at Samuel and turned to look at Adrian who was sitting next to Samuel with his head down. He walked over to Adrian and sat down next to him.

"Thank the phone" said Kenzi reached into Adrian's pocket as his phone rang. He picks up the big boss's call and puts the phone close to Adrian's ear.

Adrian glanced for a moment at Kenzi, his hands trembling his voice hoarse as his mouth greeted the boss boss. "hello."

"Adrian, did you eliminate the girl? how's Kenzi? did you bring him to base?" Kenzi instantly turned off the big boss's call.

"So, he asked you to eliminate my wife?" kenzi said with a cynical look. He stood up and sat back in his place. Kenzi took out a cigar from his suit pocket and a bat, the man lit a cigar.

"What's the next move, boss?" samuel watched every movement of Kenzi's hand that sucked his cigarette deep inside, then turned off the cigar in the ashtray.

Kenzi stood with both hands he put in his pants pocket, looking at Samuel who was waiting for an answer from him. "I'll make sure Siena's safe first." He turned his eyes to look at Adrian with a faint look.

"Bring him away from here, I don't want to see a traitor in my house."

Samuel nodded his head in understanding Kenzi's intentions as he poured the drink into the glass and then gulped it down slowly, his eyes looking at Kenzi who passed by leaving him to sit alone enjoying his drink.

While Kenzi meets Siena in her room, she decides to sleep in Siena's room to make sure she's okay. That way his heart is calm. Slowly he opened the door, he saw Siena pensively sitting glued to the edge of the bed, he was seen still hit over the incident this morning.

"Siena.." Kenzi exhaled a furious breath and sat down beside him.

Siena turned her face to look at Kenzi and again took a frustrated breath. I don't know when he'll live like that. But this time Siena did not want to be indifferent to the problems that Kenzi was facing. "If you quit your job, they'd kill you too me.."

"Siena, loving you is not a mistake." Kenzi spoke slowly, his head lowered. His voice is raucous, he realizes that it has brought Siena into his dangerous life. "Did I have you wrong?"

"What?!"

Siena stared hard at Kenzi. Now he understood why they wanted to kill him. Men who have these dark eyes are a valuable asset to them.

"There must be a way out, believe me. Even though I don't know when that day will come." Siena noticed Kenzi's facial expression. He still remembers his mother risking herself on the gambling table to buy drugs. Siena had no idea how far her mother was involved. From then on it became a nightmare that always came to him. And the nightmare became a strange phobia for him. Tears began to drip in the corner of the netra. Slowly Siena climbed onto the bed.

Kenzi was silent for a moment and turned his face to look at Siena who was rolling her body with a blanket. Kenzi only saw his long hair. And he thought Siena was crying. "You why?"

"It's okay." Siena replied with a hoarse voice.

"It's my fault."

"It's not time to think who's wrong" said Siena lirih. He held his breath when he realized the silence.

Kenzi stood staring at Siena, this girl is his. Fuck the outfit and the job.

Siena woke up with a dizzy feeling in her head, she felt the sunlight entering through the window of the room. He watched the entire room, his eyes fixed on Kenzi who was sitting on the maroon-colored sofa not far from his bed.

"You awake?" Kenzi stood up and walked towards Siena's bed. The man bowed his body kissing Siena's forehead for a moment. "You are precious to me."

Siena silently looked at Kenzi's two eyeballs, she smiled faintly. Then get up and sit on the bed. "If you think I'm worth more than your money and your job, why are you still tied to your job?"

Kenzi let out a small laugh, he sat down beside Siena. "Honey, let alone man, anything has a price. But you can't be smashed with money or anything."

Siena smiled faintly, again she shook her head when she saw Kenzi still laughing. "When are you gonna stop?"

"Not long." Kenzi replied while rubbing Siena's hair. With a cold gaze, he noticed Kenzi who pulled out a cigar in his pocket balim then walked back to sit on the sofa enjoying a glass of vodka.

There's one thing people say to him. If Siena is luckier than any other woman who has to end up on the dance floor of their wild rapist, become an addict and have to go in and out of rehab. Luck among the many misfortunes as long as he lived. Siena had to rethink whether she was out of her mind?

Siena asked, Maybe to love something that does not seem he must be crazy? he took a deep breath and sat down on the edge of the bed. "When did you stop being an addict?" siena asked looking at Kenzi who only glanced for a moment at her.

Seeing Kenzi like that reminded her of Hana, her own biological mother had to end tragically in her old age. She should consider her a good mother or vice versa. Months passed by so quickly, bad things seemed to wait every step and second after second was a daze for Siena.
