Saving the Ice Princess
The Lu Clan's residence.
The arrival of Lu Tong and his entourage was warmly welcomed by the members of the Lu clan.
"Finally son... You arrived too. How are you?" A woman in her 40s came over to Lu Tong.
She was Lu Ning, the mother of Lu Tong. Have a beautiful face that is youthful with charming white hair.
Next to Lu Ning was a middle-aged man in blue robes. The man was extremely gallant and gave off an authoritative aura, he was none other than Lu Qin Shan, the father of Lu Tong as well as the Chief of the Lu Clan.
Lu Tong smiled and replied, "Sure... I'm doing fine. How are you doing, mom and dad?"
"We're both fine, son." Lu Qin Shan replied and then glanced at the group behind his son.
"Are they the ones you hired?" Lu Qin Shan asked curiously.
Lu Tong nodded his head and before he said anything, his father first walked towards the entourage.
"You must be the head of the Black Wolf group, right? Introduce my name is Lu Qin Shan, and I am the Clan Leader of Lu." His speech introduced himself to the luxurious black-robed man.
Fang Lin slightly raised his eyebrows when he heard that, "You're the wrong person, not me but him." Reply while pointing towards the bald man who was behind him.
Lu Qin Shan was certainly surprised to hear that, Lu Tong also did not stay silent and explained that Fang Lin was a wandering cultivator whom he had hired.
The bald man who was the leader of the Black Wolf group was certainly upset by the incident, but he did not let go and began to introduce himself.
When that happened, Lu Qin Shan immediately apologized, "I thought he was the chairman, because his clothes were different on their own from the others." He said while smiling awkwardly.
Seeing his father's behavior, Lu Tong simply shook his head slowly, he then led the Black Wolf and Fang Lin group to the Lu Clan Multipurpose Building.

The Multipurpose Building.
Lu Tong, his parents, the Black Wolf group and Fang Lin were now in a meeting regarding the trip tomorrow.
Since the distance of Jhang Wen city was very far they all had to pass through several big cities, and it would definitely take over a month to make the trip.
Fang Lin who heard it immediately thought, "One more month? To travel, it was a waste of my time... I better hunt down the beasts and sell their monster cores at auction." Fang Lin was implying. He only needed to slaughter dozens of high-level monsters and sell them at an auction, and most likely the gold coins he had earned were more than the salary he had on escorting this trip.
Amidst the discussion, Fang Lin stood up and made all the attention go to him.
"Is there something going on, Mr Lin?" Asked Lu Tong curiously.
Fang Lin shook his head then replied, "No. I just want to go to the restroom, you guys just continue the meeting."
Without waiting for a reply from Lu Tong and the others, Fang Lin directly walked out from there.
The black masked man's skin made the meeting room atmosphere silent for a few moments. Lu Qin Shan as the leader of the meeting resumed the conversation.

The Lu Clan area.
Fang Lin walked leisurely as he watched the members of the Lu clan move, he then stopped at one of the trees there and leaned over.
His eyes closed and his consciousness quickly extended to the entire area of the Lu Clan. Within his consciousness, Fang Lin quickly discovered Lu Xian's figure.
This woman called Lu Xian was very beautiful according to him, she had snow-white hair and her white skin was so smooth.
Lu Xian was currently asleep in one of the rooms in the main building of the Lu Clan. She wore a pink dress and made her look very beautiful.
"The Reincarnation Body of the Ice Goddess... Because of his special body, the cold kept coming out of his body." Fang Lin muttered then re-opened his eyes. He looked towards the surrounding and the atmosphere was quite quiet.

Fang Lin quickly disappeared from his place, and in the next second he was already by Lu Xian's bedside.
"She's like an ice princess in a fairy tale I used to read as a child..." Fang Lin silently smiled behind his mask, he then waved his hand to the side and instantly golden flames coated the body of the beautiful woman.
A cold chill suddenly seeped out of Lu Xian's body and created a strong wind in the room.
Naturally a rumbling sound was created and shocked the members of the Lu clan who were around there.
One of them directly reported this incident to their Clan Chief who was none other than Lu Qin Shan.
In less than 10 minutes, Lu Qin Shan, Lu Ning and Lu Tong were already in Lu Xian's bedroom. The three of them were shocked and panicked when they found Lu Xian's body giving off such a terrifying chill.
"What the fuck?!! My boy! Why is his body coated in golden flames?!" Lu Qin Shan asked in a worried tone, he then walked up to his son.
"Don't touch it..." A voice was clearly heard in the ears of the three of them.
The three of them immediately turned to the source of the voice and found Fang Lin sitting in the corner of the room.
They were certainly surprised, because from the beginning the three did not feel the air of Fang Lin's existence.
"You! Are you the one who did this to my son?!" Lu Qin Shan asked and an Emperor level cultivation aura seeped out from his body.
Fang Lin raised his hand and asked him to stop, "I can heal your son, and the golden fire that envelops him is healing him instead of hurting him." Fang Lin explained.
Lu Qin Shan let out a loud snort when he heard it, he took out a long sword from his storage ring, "You think I'm stupid and inedible to your bullshit?!" He darted toward Fang Lin quickly, but when he was already a few meters away from the black-robed man, his body fell down as if a huge rock had just hit him.
Seeing his father fall down made Lu Tong surprised, he immediately raised both his hands and asked Fang Lin to stop.
Fang Lin himself instantly withdrew his dragon aura, he flicked his finger and instantly the exit of the room was covered by chunks of ice.
Lu Tong was speechless with an inexplicable look on his face, as well as Lu Ning.
The handsome green-haired man approached his father and woke him up, "Dad... Are you all right?"
Lu Qin Shan held his slightly aching head, then looked at Fang Lin with a shocked and fearful gaze.
"You just calm down... I have no intention of hurting you and your family. I was only helping to save Lu Xian, because Lu Tong had helped me at the city gate earlier."
After Fang Lin finished his words, the chill seeping out from Lu Xian's body instantly decreased drastically and at the same time the strong wind within the room began to subside.
"It looks like your son is recovering... Let him rest. I'm gonna get out of here." Fang Lin said and in an instant he disappeared from there.
A few seconds later, the golden flames lining Lu Xian's body disappeared and the chunks of ice covering the exit of the room were smashed to pieces.
