The System of the Immortal
The Labyrinth of The Death IV

"Follow me..." Fang Lin walked away from there, he went to a dim place with the glow of a campfire.

Yohan herself thought nothing of it and followed the black-coated young man from behind.

After they were already several tens of meters away from the entourage, Fang Lin stopped stepping foot-so did Yohan.

"Let's get a rookie, open me up your coat." Yohan smiled faintly, she folded her hands together in front of her chest.

"Sure, stand in front of me. Even though we've come quite a distance, but there's a chance that someone else is watching silently from afar." Fang Lin replied calmly.

Yohan nodded her head in understanding, then walked over and stopped when she was already face to face with Fang Lin.

"I hope you hold your word." Fang Lin held the side of his skull, then slowly opened it while raising his head.

Yohan who had calmed down earlier, widened her eyes in surprise. His heart seemed to stop for a moment when he found Fang Lin's extremely handsome face.

"D-damn it... It turns out you're not bragging, yeah." Yohan really did not expect, even though he had expected some possibilities but this far exceeded his expectations.

Fang Lin only smiled to respond to that, he could feel several pairs of eyes that were staring at him from the direction of the entourage. Because the position is turned back to them, he will only show white hair and also the nape of a smooth neck.

"It turns out they're not that intentional, I think there will be people who use Mana Consciousness to see my face clearly." Fang Lin said inwardly, there was a hint of disappointment in his heart.

"Alright, alright... I believe you, rookie!" Yohan smiled as she held onto both of Fang Lin's shoulders, then she left from there and left him.

"Hm?"

A moment after Yohan left, there was someone who used Mana Consciousness to know Fang Lin's face.

"Haha... You seem to be curious about my face, too, Colin." Fang Lin clearly knew the origin of the Mana Consciousness straight away, but he would choose to ignore it.

Fang Lin put his skull back on, then returned towards the group.

On the other hand, Yohan laughed quite loudly while walking back to the campfire, of course it invited the attention of Yuna, Colin and Tiger-while the rest acted indifferently.

When Yohan had returned to her seat, she made a statement, "It seems that in this group, Merlin's position as the number one handsome person was already eliminated."

Hearing that only a few people reacted, such as Tiger, Yuna and Colin. Merlin and Gwen still showed flat expressions, while Rian had fallen asleep shortly after the campfire was created.

"really?! Is that novice face so handsome?!" Tiger asked, he did not stare at Yohan but rather Fang Lin in the distance who was sitting leaning next to Colin.

Yuna also reacted but she was not up to the questioning stage.

"Yes, why am I lying." Yohan grinned, her eyes shifted to Merlin, "Hohoho... As always, you don't care about this kind of thing, Merlin."

"Stop your bullshit, Yohan. Don't you want to rest?" Merlin did not stare at his interlocutor, and his attention continued to point towards the bonfire.

"Of course I would, but not now. I'm still pretty fresh right now." Yohan does not fade her grin, and her attention is turned to Gwen.

Yohan did not say anything, but she knew that Gwen seemed quite curious about beginners.

On the other hand, Colin who heard their conversation immediately looked towards Fang Lin who was next to him, "It seems that you are indeed really handsome, huh? It's not usually Yohan to praise others."

Colin did not seem to have any intention of telling her that he had already seen Fang Lin's face through Mana Consciousness.

"Haha... That's how, I never lie, do I?" Fang Lin responded while chuckling.

"It looks like it did..." Colin nodded slowly, then continued, "Absolutely, don't you want to rest?"

Fang Lin did a meditative position, then closed his eyes slowly.

"Eh, are you resting in that kind of position? It can, can't it?" Colin wondered as he watched Fang Lin's posture, he could see a little of that person's face from the side.

"I'm used to this kind of posture to rest." Fang Lin replied calmly.

"Well if it makes you comfortable, good night." Colin did not ask any further, then slightly distanced himself from Fang Lin and did a lying position.

***

The next day, they return on a trip using Merlin's pet horse.

"Wait... Why dead-end?" Merlin wondered because he was the only person spreading Mana Consciousness.

Gwen furrowed her brows, she did not ask any further and co-spread her Mana Consciousness forward.

A little while later, Gwen stopped the group and her attention was immediately drawn to Yuna.

"Why is it wrong, Yuna? Didn't you check it out?" Gwen asked, she tilted her head slightly.

"really? It should not be a dead end in front, this is very strange." Yuna's face looked puzzled, she then decided to re-do the detection magic.

After some time, the light coming out of Yuna's body began to disappear and she looked at Gwen with a guilty look, "I'm sorry, we seem to have gone the wrong way" he said in a soft voice, "I'm really sorry... I don't understand at all, it should be the right way but somehow it could change."

Gwen was silent for a moment and the look on her face was serious, she was thinking about some speculation in her brain right now.

"It seems like this is not the fault of Yuna's magic, but the pattern of her labyrinthine path changing." Gwen muttered, her voice very slow and could only be heard by herself alone, "But for now, put the matter aside."

Gwen then asks Yuna to tell her the right path. Merlin remained at the very front of the line just in case of a surprise attack.

......................

Time passed by for several hours, Gwen's entourage stopped when Merlin announced that the end of the road in front of them was a dead end.

Yuna herself could not help but be surprised when she heard it, she did not expect that she had made a mistake for the second time.

Seeing the look on Yuna's face made Gwen explain the speculation she had been thinking about earlier.

"It looks like your magic isn't wrong, Yuna. The pattern of this labyrinth track seems to be changing in a certain time, I believe that the labyrinth path changes every hour." Yuna explained, her voice was calm and a little loud.

"Eh, isn't that getting weird? Yesterday our trip was smooth." Tiger did not understand.

"It's just speculation without proof, I'm not saying that what I think is true" Gwen replied.

"Then, how are we going?" Yohan asked while stretching her body.

"We will wait at the end of this labyrinth's dead end, and make sure for ourselves the changes are there." replied Gwen, then immediately followed her, "But that's not certain, but it's not, because I myself don't know how large the scale of the labyrinth's path changes."

Gwen discussed some of her thoughts to the rest of the members, then they all decided to wait at the end of the dead end and prove the change in the dungeon's path pattern.
