Bullies Appear
Vulhan stared for some time after reading the old man's memories, he then looked at Fang Lin with a shocked and incredulous look.
"Since the beginning of our meeting I did know that you are no ordinary person, Hunter Fang Lin. But, I didn't expect that you would truly surpass my expectations." Vulhan said, his tone sounding so amazed.
Keep in mind, this old man was a Magician with a Mana Circle in the tenth level. Its power is incredible, it can destroy a city in one night.
But Fang Lin could make him shrink with just a few actions as well as that absurd killing aura.
If only Fang Lin had not let out his killing aura, perhaps the Black Witch had chosen to fight him instead of giving up just like that.
"You overestimated me too much, old man. My strength is likely only comparable to a Platinum-level Hunter." Fang Ling shook her head slowly.
Vulhan certainly didn't believe that but he didn't talk about it any further, "Lantas, do you want to kill him?"
"That's how... I gave her a choice." Fang Lin replied quickly.
Vulhan could not object to Fang Lin's remark, as he had already absorbed the Black Witch's memories so he was no longer needed.
Fang Lin moved the Black Mage to his void dimension, then killed him in an instant using the God Qi.
After which, Fang Lin took out his mission paper and found the inscription 'Finish'.
"In this way, my mission is done." Fang Lin murmured, then his eyes shifted to Vulhan, "Then, I leave first, old man. Don't forget your promise..."
"I see, hunter Fang Lin." Vulhan nodded slowly.
Fang Lin himself walked out of the room and down to the ground floor, he went to the reception desk and handed over his mission papers that had been successfully completed.
The young man who stood guard said nothing and did his duty as a receptionist.
Fang Lin kept the five thousand gold coins he had obtained from completing the mission in the inventory, then walked over to where the mission board was located.
There were some people who were also looking at the mission, Fang Lin's presence among them was not ignored at all.
"There are several missions for Gold-level hunters, but most missions are trivial." Fang Lin folded his hands together in front of his chest, and his eyes glanced at the top right corner.
Mission: Kill a Necromancer who controls the Wantral Forest. Prize, ten thousand gold coins.
"Necromancers? Interesting..."
When Fang Lin held onto the mission paper, there was another person's hand shortly after him.
"What are you doing?"
Fang Lin only realized that the hand came from a woman he had met at the city gate of Heinz some time ago.
"Oh, isn't this a coincidence?" Rosalyn smiled sweetly, then added, "Do you want to take the mission as well?"
Are you blind?
Fang Lin had wanted to say that but he paused his intention and nodded his head.
"Gee... So happy! Let's run this mission together?" Rosalyn looked very happy.
"No." Fang Lin instantly refused, then weakened the hand of Rosalyn holding the same mission paper as her using Qi.
"Hm?!" Rosalyn was so shocked when the mission paper suddenly slipped out of her hand without her noticing, "H-hey! I want to take that mission too!"
Fang Lin paid him no heed and walked leisurely towards the exit of the Hunter Guild, but it was only a moment when he stepped-a young man appeared before him and gave a sharp look.
"Oh, Cale! Didn't I tell you to keep quiet?" Rosalyn walked up to the two of them and stood beside Fang Lin, "I'll take care of it."
"But..."
"All right." Cale obeyed him, he turned around and sat back down on the chair he had occupied before.
Seeing that, Rosalyn walked slightly forward then faced Fang Lin. He could see the face of the handsome young man who was giving him a cold look.
"What if we finish both missions?" Rosalyn asked without fading her sweet smile.
"Go back to your residence and forget about me" Fang Lin said calmly.
Rosalyn's pupils suddenly died after hearing that, and moments later her eyes came back to life.
"Ah, I'm sorry." Rosalyn gave way to Fang Lin, thinking she had blocked the young man's path.
Cale furrowed his brows when he sensed an oddity, as he was about to stand up - a foreign aura pressed down on him and made him unable to get up from the chair.
"You, forget me too." Fang Lin said as he was beside Cale.
Cale's pupils also turned dead, and came back alive after two seconds had passed.
Fang Lin left quietly from there when he saw Rosalyn and Cale start chatting with each other, the two of them had already forgotten about him and would not become bullies again in the future.
"Basic troublesome." Fang Lin sighed after he was outside the Hunter Guild building.
Fang Lin then stepped his feet and his eyebrows slightly raised when he saw Yuna's group from a distance, their appearance looking bad-it seemed like they had just finished facing a difficult fight.
"Where's yuna?" Fang Lin wondered when he did not find Yuna's whereabouts, "Did she die?"
Fang Lin slightly tilted his head, and when the group passed him-he read one of their memories without being noticed by anyone.
Fang Lin had only read the memories of the person when it was morning until now, as Yuna's group had only left at that moment.
In those memories, Fang Lin was able to find Yuna with her new group going to a Cave a few dozen kilometers away from the city of Heinz.
"What...?"
When the group entered the Cave, Yuna was instantly knocked unconscious by one of the men in the group.
The seven of them then chatted with each other while staring at Yuna who was lying unconscious on the ground.
If noticed from the chatter of the seven people, most of them have their own grudges against Yuna for different reasons.
The three men then surrounded Yuna and were about to commit a heinous act against her. But unfortunately, a giant snake entered the cave and began to attack Yuna's group.
The group of Yuna faced the giant snake in a shocked state, it seemed like the situation was not in their plans.
The snake then managed to get Yuna's group to leave the Cave without receiving any serious injuries.
"It seems like Yuna's luck is good."
According to Fang Lin, it was better for Yuna to be killed by the snake than to be raped by the three depraved men.
"Should I have seen the situation?"
Fang Lin paused for a moment before nodding slowly, if Yuna was still alive she would help her but if otherwise then at least she should bury her properly.
"She's a good woman, so I hope that the snake is full" Fang Lin said in hope, then went towards the deserted passageway.
