After the energy shards disappeared, Mika fell to her knees to the ground with tears on her face. He cried and shook the land until it made the modern settlement around him collapse.
Fang Lin did not witness his subordinate's cry but instead left from there using teleportation, he was unwilling to disturb him because he definitely needed some time to himself.
After being at the edge of the ocean, Fang Lin stared at the twilight sky in silence. For the umpteenth time, a sigh came out of his mouth and murmured, "I've been thinking a little because of it..."
It was not that Fang Lin was carried away with the message left by Yun Shandes but rather the relic.
Leaving a message for the people he cared about, Fang Lin was thinking about that right now.
"Death is not impossible for an Absolute though, I might fail in winning this Tournament." Fang Lin folded his hands in front of his chest, his facial features looking complicated at this moment.
Fang Lin was silent and dissolved into his thoughts, not long after that Mika appeared right behind him and immediately lowered her body.
"I'm sorry, sir." said Mika, her tone sounded very sorry.
"Nothing to forgive... I've understood the situation, Miss Lien Juan." Fang Lin smiled faintly, then continued, "But, there is one thing I want to ask. Are you lying about your name?"
"No, I'm not lying at all, sir." Mika shook her head, then explained, "Lien Juan is indeed my former name, and I decided to change it after the modern settlement began to grow quite large..."
"That's it, huh? Thank goodness you didn't lie..." Fang Lin turned around, and said, "We're going back to the dome where I came from, do you want to do something before you leave here?"
Mika did not immediately reply and closed her eyes slowly, she breathed out her breath from her mouth before shaking her head slowly, "I don't think there is, Master." Mika replied in a calm voice.
"All right, then we're back."
Fang Lin and his new subordinates teleported to the Stone Peak Tower, then entered the portal in turn.
"Darling?" Yue slightly widened his eyes in shock at Fang Lin's appearance from the portal.
"Eh, what are you doing here?" Fang Lin asked as he tilted his head slightly.
"I used to want to use a clone to watch from a distance, but I don't think that's necessary." Yue smiled bitterly, then his eyes shifted to a beautiful woman wearing a casual shirt, "By the way, who is he?"
"Ah, he is the Absolute left there. Her name's..." Fang Lin paused for a moment, then turned his head towards Mika, "Who do you want to call?"
"Ah, yes..." Mika flinched from her daydream, then replied, "You can call me Mika or Lien Juan."
"Hm, can you explain the situation?" Yue asked in a curious tone, if she was from the next dome then that meant that she was on Yun Shandes' side.
Fang Lin gave a small nod, he gave no explanation but sent his memories in the next dome to his wife.
Yue herself received the memories from her husband, then looked at those memories in silence. Afterwards, he looked at Mika and asked, "Are you really sure of the deal? My husband was the one who killed your ex-lover, and you gave your life to him to help those you could even create easily."
Although Yue had known the reason Mika was acting so, he wanted to make sure once again with his own eyes.
"I know it and I'm very confident in the deal. The master had indeed killed him, but it was much better than him being devoured by his own techniques."
"Repressed by his own technique? What do you mean it?" Fang Lin this time asked, Yue was also curious about that.
"The technique that devours its users?" Fang Lin slightly furrowed his brows, then looked at Yue, "Do you know of such a technique?"
"Usually it is a trap technique created by a certain existence, they will take advantage of the person using the technique of his creation but the user also gets a proper reply. Simply put, both sides benefited from each other in this case." Yue replied explaining.
"But in the end it's a skill that harms its users." Fang Lin said as he shook his head, then looked at his wife "So, the answer Mika gave you can satisfy you?"
"Yes, that's how it is..." Yue nodded once when he answered her.
Fang Lin smiled faintly, then invited them to return to his settlement.
After being in the residential area, Fang Lin called Diablo and asked him to introduce Mika to all the subordinates present.
Diablo of course accepted the task his Master gave him with pleasure, he took Mika away and introduced her to the people around him.
"I thought you'd be there for days, but I had the wrong idea." Yue was actually quite surprised since Fang Lin had returned in just a few hours.
"I found some interesting things there, let alone this paper..." Fang Lin brought up a piece of paper that read 'Access Out'.
Yue Yang who saw that slightly furrowed his brows, "Can I see it?" Yue extended his right hand.
Fang Lin gave a small nod, then gave Yue a piece of the paper. He slightly raised one eyebrow to see his wife looking seriously at him.
"That's a Universe-level Artifact, isn't it? I haven't checked its usefulness, have you found anything?" asked Fang Lin curiously.
Fang Lin found that scrap near the footage Yun Shandes had left behind, seeing it was a Universe-level Artifact so he carried it without much thought.
"This is an Artifact that can make a person out of the Abyss World even though he is not a participant" Yue told, then continued on, "But it is likely that this will be useless after the Universe Tournament begins."
"Maybe? Does that mean your words are still without evidence?" Fang Lin slightly tilted his head.
"Yes, that's how it is..." Yue nodded, and returned the paper to her husband, "The person who gave this to Yun Shandes, might be one of the founders of the Universe Tournament."
"Huh...?" Fang Lin slightly widened his eyes in surprise, "How do you know?"
"Because it is impossible for an Absolute to be able to create this kind of Artifact, even they alone cannot escape this World if its status is not that of a Participant." Yue explained with an easy-to-understand explanation, "If not a figure involved in the Universe Tournament, who else could it be?"
Fang Lin was speechless as he could not find the answer, he stared at the piece of paper in silence before exhaling a long breath from his mouth.
"Yes, you're right. But, why would he give this to Yun Shandes?"
"So, I'm still thinking about it myself..."
The two of them talked about the topic for some time while walking to the Ice Palace which was in the middle of the settlement.
