Changing Their Memory
After they managed to calm themselves down during the time set by Fang Lin, the atmosphere remained silent and no one dared to speak.
"It seems like there's no need for further ado. I will change your memory of me as well as this incident." said Fang Lin who was straight to the point.
"Eh, what do you mean?"
Yohan became the first person to speak up, although she was frightened by Fang Lin's existence but her common sense could still handle it.
"As per my words just now, your memory of this incident will be changed..."
Actually Fang Lin did not need permission to change their memories, but he was not the type of person to do things at will.
Well... Even if they refused, Fang Lin would still change their memories. So you could say, the thing he is doing right now is a mere formality.
"What's your reason for doing that to us?" Merlin asked, among the others - he was the calmest person.
Fang Lin lifted his shoulders and replied in an indifferent tone, "I just don't want any problems in the future later, even if the odds are only one percent."
Merlin was silent for a moment when he heard it, he already had some answers regarding Fang Lin's reason for such an action.
"I'm so curious about her, should I keep my memories of her secretly somewhere else?" Merlin asked inwardly, and at that very moment his hair stood up as it felt goosebumps.
"I will never forgive a man who commits a foolish act." Fang Lin looked at Merlin, his two pupils had already turned into a bright golden color.
Merlin gulped his saliva, he then got a telepathy from Gwen not to do something careless.
Fang Lin himself could certainly hear the entire conversation that Merlin and Gwen had had when the two of them were communicating telepathically, His God Eyes were really useful for this kind of situation.
"Do you also have to change my memory?" Yohan raised her right hand when asking so, she could not look directly into Fang Lin's eyes.
What Yohan said certainly made Merlin, Gwen and Yuna shocked.
"You will not die, I will remove the poison from your body" Fang Lin said calmly, he already knew the meaning of Yohan's words.
Yohan herself widened her eyes, she clearly did not immediately believe and showed a doubtful look. But his expression instantly turned into panic at the moment the golden-coloured flame burned itself.
"Wait... N-not hot?" Yohan felt surprised when she realized something, she did not feel the heat at all even though the golden flames burned all over her body.
"What the fuck is that...?" Yuna widened her eyes when she saw the golden flames burning through her companion's body, she slowly walked over to Yohan, "That's pure... Is this real?"
Hearing that made Gwen slightly wrinkle her alias, she then glanced at Merlin and found him who had an agitated expression.
"What's wrong?" Gwen immediately asked.
Merlin paused for a moment before replying, "The golden flame makes me feel uneasy, I'm not too sure... But, it seems like the fire can kill the Devil."
"Seeing you to such uneasiness, is it possible that the golden flames are more terrifying than the light element that is the natural opponent of the Devils?" Gwen tried to guess.
"I don't know... But for sure, I could die if it burned." Merlin responded without averted his eyes.
Gwen nodded slowly as if understanding something, she did not ask further because it was still uncertain and just speculation.
A while later, the golden flames that burned Yohan's body disappeared and all the poison within her body had disappeared completely.
"There is no poison in your body." Fang Lin told him a moment after his golden flames disappeared.
"I don't know what happened to my body, but... I feel so much better than before." Yohan muttered softly, her voice could be heard by Fang Lin as well as the others.
Yuna herself approached Yohan, then checked her condition without letting out a single word.
"Hard to believe... Your body is completely clean, there is no poison or injury." Yuna held her breath with slightly widened eyes.
"It's enough to be amazed." said Fang Lin, and instantly made the atmosphere become silent, "From now on, you'll only remember that I'm a weak new member. There's someone who killed those three killers and saved us all, and then he left without saying anything."
A moment after Fang Lin said so, the pupils of the four of their eyes instantly turned blank.
However, it only lasted for a few moments before their eye pupils returned to being as lively as ever.
"Who is this stranger?"
Fang Lin opened the conversation, he wanted to strengthen their new memories in this way.
"It's hard to guess his identity, it's possible that he's a Saint-in light of his incredible strength." Yohan responded with a serious look.
Yuna nodded in agreement while remembering the incident just now.
Gwen and Merlin were silent, but they seemed to be chatting telepathically.
Fang Lin knew about it and then read through all of their memories, this sort of thing was a presumptuous act but he wanted to make sure that there was nothing wrong in their memory changes.
Fang Lin nodded his head several times after absorbing the memories of the two of them, he found no fault in either memory.

Since Fang Lin was absorbing Gwen and Merlin's memories, he came to know the reason their group entered the dungeon.
There was a thief who stole a Legend-level Artifact, and the thief disguised himself as a hunter and entered a group.
Later, the thief and his new group agree to enter the Labyrinth of the Death. Thereafter, there was no news of him anymore and rumors regarding Legend-level Artifacts missing inside the dungeon began to spread throughout the entire side of Baylon Kingdom.
"How did the rumor spread?" Fang Lin folded his hands in front of his chest while tilting his head.
Actually Gwen and Merlin were not that stupid as to believe baseless rumors, they both became believers after coming to a great fortune teller as well as trusted.
"Maybe I should go see the dragon again and ask about this." Fang Lin nodded his head as if he had already decided on something.
"Oi, rookie. Why daydream? Are you still scared of what just happened?" Yohan asked while embracing Fang Lin, "I can't believe Colin is an assassin, let alone that he seems to be the leader of Rian and Tiger as well. Tsk, even though he looks like a submissive boy."
Yohan said that casually, it was funny to remember that he was the one who almost died a moment ago.
"Hey, why are you quiet? You're really scared, aren't you? Ahhaha..." Yohan strengthened her embrace while laughing, she had no intention of mocking or anything at all - but rather tried to calm Fang Lin down in her own way.
"Well... Evil-looking people aren't really evil, I've met a lot of people like him in his previous life." Fang Lin quietly smiled faintly.
