The System of the Immortal
Take Missions

Fang Lin went to where the mission board was and found Yuna was there, he stopped stepping for some time before returning to continue.

"Hey..." Fang Lin greeted as he reached the front of the mission board.

Yuna was not too surprised and greeted Fang Lin back.

"Do you want to take the mission as well?" asked Fang Lin curiously.

Yuna nodded slowly, then explained, "Yes, I accidentally met my friend after finishing my business here. He invited me to go on a mission with his other friends, I wanted to refuse because I was still tired but he kept begging me to make myself forced to accept."

"Oh, yeah..." Fang Lin responded while nodding softly, although he never asked about his reason for taking the mission, "Then, be careful..."

"Thank you."

Yuna answered him, then took out the mission paper carefully.

Fang Lin himself noticed Yuna who was leaving from where she was, and he found the 'friend' that she was referring to.

"I vaguely felt bad intentions from them." muttered Fang Lin, then shook his head slowly, "Yes, that's it. It has nothing to do with me."

Fang Lin took out a mission paper that had requirements for one person as well as a hunter at the gold level.

The mission Fang Lin took was to find out the reason why the Khavarion Mountains were inhabited by thousands of Chimeras. The prize is five thousand gold coins.

"The chimera... Is a strange monster from the combined results between two or more animals, right? Diablo said that these monsters are usually created by the Black Witch or crazy humans ." Fang Lin muttered as he looked at his mission paper.

Under the mission paper there is the inscription 'while in progress', and when the mission is completed it will turn into 'completed'.

"This paper system is pretty good, should I make something similar for my subordinates?" Fang Lin thought of an idea in his head, but he immediately shook his head slowly, "It seems like it won't be too useful, without having to present a mission paper - all my subordinates will still grow stronger as time goes on."

Fang Lin then walked out of the Hunters Union after thinking about all that, before he completed the mission - he was going back to the Labyrinth of The Death dimension.

The Labyrinth of the Death.

In an extremely majestic Dark Palace, Glaucus continued to think about the events that had happened to him some time ago, his ten subordinates staring at him for wanting to get an explanation of the events.

"Who exactly is he...?" Glaucus had thought about it many times, but he still had not gotten a single clue though, "Half the Gods? Did he lie about that? His existence is so absurd, I'm pretty sure that he's much stronger than even a god."

Glaucus kept thinking regardless of the gazes of his subordinates, then his eyes widened as he felt a very familiar presence in this dimension.

"That's it.." Glaucus' voice trembled slightly, and at the same time he stood up from his throne.

The ten subordinates of Glaucus also sensed the presence of the human, but they remained silent and unmoving before getting an order from their Master.

On the other hand, Fang Lin who had already returned to the dimension of the Labyrinth of The Death instantly teleported when he found a large Palace nearby.

Fang Lin appeared in the middle of the Palace hall and found Glaucus who was in his human form.

Among the Glaucus were ten other living beings. They have different forms, but some of them look like humans.

"Hello, I'm back." Fang Lin smiled faintly as he raised his one hand upwards.

Glaucus himself instantly disappeared from his place, then again appeared several dozen meters before Fang Lin.

"What's wrong?" Glaucus asked, trying to hide his nervousness.

Fang Lin smiled faintly, and replied, "I'm here because I want to ask you something."

Glaucus did not have the courage to refuse, so he would inevitably allow him to ask questions.

"I wonder, is there a human who entered this dungeon with a Legend-level Artifact?" Fang Lin asked, His God's Eye was already active from earlier because it wanted to confirm the answer from Glaucus.

Glaucus himself seemed to think when he got the question, he then shook his head and replied, "It seems like there never was."

"I understand." Fang Lin did not discover the lie from Glaucus' reply, then his eyes were shifted on the ten beings standing near the throne, "What about you guys?"

One-by-one of them instantly shook their heads quickly when they got that question from Fang Lin.

"Well, it doesn't seem to exist, yeah."

Seeing that none of Glaucus' ten subordinates were lying, it meant that the rumor about the thief entering this dungeon while carrying a Legend-level Artifact was a huge lie.

And the soothsayer who said that there was a Legend-level Artifact in this dungeon most likely did not lie - considering that Glaucus was a Primordial Chaos Animal.

"By the way, do you have Legend-level items?" Fang Lin asked just to be sure.

Glaucus immediately nodded his head, and then told that he and his ten subordinates had their own Legend-level items.

"I think Legend-level items are pretty rare, don't seem to be, do you?"

In this Universe, Artifacts, Weapons and magic books are divided into several levels, namely: Low, General, High, Rare, Special, Epic, Legend and God.

"We all have pretty great backgrounds, so it's not impossible that each one of us has Legend-level items" Glaucus said after overhearing Fang Lin's words.

Fang Lin himself nodded his head a few times, then said inwardly, "That means this Dungeon is not a level four Dungeon, it is impossible for Gwen's group to complete it."

"Yes, stop. It doesn't matter." Fang Lin brushed aside his entire thought at this moment, then cupped his hands together, "Thank you for answering my question, I'm leaving first."

Whooos!

Without waiting for a reply from Glaucus, Fang Lin instantly disappeared from his place in an instant.

"I don't think humans seem like foam hides its enormous power without me feeling a single bit."

"He really is like an ordinary Human being, no particular energy can catch my attention."

"Courtesy right... His abilities might be beyond what we can imagine."

Hearing the conversation among his subordinates, Glaucus simply kept silent and returned to his throne.

Glaucus thought hard about the reason Fang Lin asked all of that, he did not think that he was just curious.

Khavarion Mountains.

Fang Lin observed a gigantic mountain surrounded by a huge forest, on the mountain there were many different types of Chimera.

"The number is not thousands, but tens of thousands." Fang Lin muttered as he folded his hands behind his waist, "Should I finish it quickly?"

Fang Lin paused for a moment to think about that, then shook his head slowly, "No, it won't be exciting."
