"We're back... I have no thoughts of solving this strange situation." Gwen had already given up after racking her brain for a long time, she then told all the members to prepare.
When Gwen was about to perform her ice magic, Merlin exclaimed when she realized something, "Stop! No one moves!"
Most of the members instantly stopped their movements after hearing Merlin's exclamation.

The new Gwen understood the situation widened her eyes when she discovered a thin golden thread that limited her movement.
Not only him but Fang Lin, Yohan, Merlin and Yuna also got the same situation.
"What does this mean, Colin?" Gwen asked as she spread her Mana Consciousness, she could find Tiger and Rian putting on a flat expression as if she had expected this.
"What does it mean, yeah..." Colin pretended not to know, then chuckled, "Once you go... We're just a hit man in the process of completing a mission."
"Paid killer?!"
Everyone who knew nothing became shocked when they heard that, even Fang Lin himself was no exception.
"001, stop talking about anything unimportant. Just kill them directly." Rian said as he yawned slowly.

"001, stop messing around. We have to kill them while we have a chance." Tiger who had been observing so far finally spoke up, "Ah, but don't kill Yohan. He's gotta die in my hands before his brain melts."
"God! If you release me from the restraints of this thread, then the regret you will get later." Yohan said without the slightest fear, despite knowing that death was waiting for her.
"Haha... What a good joke." Rian laughed but didn't really laugh.

"Merlin, do something!" Gwen exclaimed loudly.

"What are you thinking, you idiot! Don't daydream at a time like this!" Gwen shouted out loudly to resuscitate the blond young man.
"just free... This thread was a Myth level weapon. Witches like us won't be able to get away with this." Merlin explained without moving a bit.
"W-what.." Gwen's face turned deathly pale upon hearing that, the cold aura seeping out from her body slowly disappeared.
"Bahaha... Your expression is so funny after knowing the truth!" Colin laughed out loud without moving a single bit of his fingers controlling the golden thread.
"You were scary a long time ago, Gwen. But... I really like your beauty." Rian smiled faintly, "Unfortunately, we can't do anything more intimate because soon your death will come."
Rian ended his words by shaking his head slowly.
Merlin who heard that was certainly angry, only he could not act rashly for now.
"I've summoned some Devils to come here, but they took about fifteen minutes to get there." Merlin clenched his teeth, then continued, "I should buy as much time as possible."
"You guys... Which organization's killer?" Merlin asked while twisting his brain.

Yuna who knew nothing about Merlin immediately wondered.
"Oh, Yuna... You still don't know it, do you?" Colin turned his gaze to the blond woman, "Merlin is a descendant of the Demon King, Damian. He was the most potential successor to become the next Demon King."
"Well..."
Yuna widened her eyes and the shock was clearly engraved on her face, she did know that Merlin was related to the Devil but she only found out that he was the son of a Demon King.
"It's a shame, Yuna. Looks like your love for her will end here, even though you already received it when Merlin said that he was a half-demon." Colin said, his tone sounded sympathetic.
A Priest like Yuna is very hostile to Devils, they are likened to water and oil-which cannot be put together.
But Yuna loves Merlin at first sight, despite knowing that the young man is half-demon-she ignores him and tries to chase after him.
But ever since Colin's words entered his ears, Yuna's hope of becoming Merlin's lover collapsed instantly. He was a Priest, loving half a Devil was no big deal but different if the one he loved was a descendant of a True Devil.
