The System of the Immortal
The Labyrinth of the Death

Seeing Gwen who had already jumped into the quicksand vortex-the others not only kept quiet and began to follow her one by one.

"What are you doing, rookie?" Merlin asked as he looked at Fang Lin with an indifferent gaze.

Among all people, Merlin was the most reserved figure during the trip - even Kevin was notoriously shy of interacting more than the blond-haired handsome young man.

"Ah, I was thinking of letting the seniors in first." Fang Lin slightly scratched his head without turning his head towards Merlin in the slightest.

"Come in before me." Merlin did not seem to care about Fang Lin's reasoning.

"All right, senior." Fang Lin did not have much further ado and jumped into the swirl of sucking sand.

Merlin momentarily stared at the swirl of quicksand before leaping inside there.

When Fang Lin jumped in, he felt like he was being moved to a different dimension and it was not wrong at all.

Right now, Fang Lin and the rest of the group were already at the entrance of the Dungeon. He did not react too much and just stared at the dungeon gate.

"Last warning from me, do any of you want to back off? I remind you, group security is guaranteed with me and some of you - but I can't be sure of all of us in the labyrinth."

The silent atmosphere after Gwen spoke those words, just like before - no one wanted to file a complaint.

Gwen paused for a moment and looked at each member, her eyes then halted in one direction and her eyebrows slightly raised, "What's wrong? You want to go back?" Gwen asked when she found Fang Lin raising one of his hands up.

All eyes were instantly fixed on Fang Lin, not least Merlin who had previously always acted indifferently to the surroundings.

"No, I just wanted to ask you something." Fang Lin greeted him with his head lowered.

"What?" Gwen responded briefly.

"Right, how long are we going to be in this dungeon?"

"That's a difficult question, I can't answer it definitively even if it refers to a rough estimate."

"What do you mean by that?"

"No, I'm just talking to myself." Fang Lin smiled faintly, and immediately continued on, "Then, let's go."

Gwen was silent for some time and did not say any further, she then turned around and stared at the dungeon gate for a moment, "We can definitely finish it..." Gwen muttered, but her voice could be heard by all the members there.

"Haha.... Let's make our group's name recorded in history!" Tiger added enthusiastically.

Some members just chuckled, whereas Gwen started to open the giant gate using both of her hands.

When the gate opened, they immediately found a straight path whose left and right were covered by a high wall.

"Let's go in..." Gwen said in a soft voice and started walking into the dungeon.

By the time Gwen passed through the gate, a silhouette forming the number 1/8 appeared right in front of the gate.

"Oh, how it works like an array, yeah." Fang Lin nodded his head a few times, the number one started to increase to two as the Tiger passed through that gate.

"If the number does not reach eight within a certain time, those who have passed through the gate will bounce out." Colin explained although Fang Lin did not ask that.

"Oh, yeah. Will those who bounce out die?" asked Fang Lin curiously.

"Eh, of course not. Why do you think that?" Colin shook his head quickly, and asked with slightly furrowed brows.

"Either... I like to think of something random." Fang Lin ended his words with a small laugh.

Colin simply shook his head slowly and did not say any further, they all then passed through the dungeon's gate.
