Fang Lin then took out the Energy Crystals he had picked up earlier from the inventory, then stared at them silently for some time.
Because his Spiritual Awareness could not be used in this place, Fang Lin was unable to examine those Energy Crystals any deeper but he was quite certain that these Imperial-level Energy Crystals were slightly higher than the Sacred level.
"By the way, why doesn't the system shop sell it, huh?" Fang Lin wondered, then continued, "Is it because I haven't upgraded the system yet?"
Fang Lin thought about it in silence until he finally stopped when Yang Kai came over to him.
"Is there something?" fang Lin asked after the old man was before him.
Yang Kai gave a small nod and replied, "That's how it is, I have something to ask you."
Fang Lin slightly raised his eyebrows upon hearing that, then allowed Yang Kai to ask.
"Can you tell me the name of the style that made your existence disappear?" asked Yang Kai curiously.
Yang Kai clearly knew that the question was very disrespectful but he was so curious about the style used by Fang Lin earlier.
"Why should I tell you? It was not profitable at all." Fang Lin said as he shook his head slowly.
"You're right, then... I'll give you a number of high-quality resources." Yang Kai put on a serious expression when saying that.
"Unfortunately, I don't need resources. All I need is information, we can exchange information if you want." Fang Lin said.
Yang Kai did not answer immediately but thought for a few minutes, he then said with a small nod, "As long as the information you requested is not sensitive, I am willing to tell you."
Fang Lin smiled faintly, then said, "Then, I'm the one who asked the question first. Who are you and why is this place called the Land of Destruction?"
"We are the direct subordinates of the Guard Emperor, this place is named as the Land of Destruction because this Land was once a battlefield for a million years."
"Huh, didn't I hear wrong?"
"No, this war on the Mainland lasted for a million years. I know that sounds pretty absurd, but the fact is."
Fang Lin put on a shocked look, which stronghold can wage a war for a million years without stopping? True what Yang Kai said, it sounded very unreasonable.
"Who's war created a war that long?"
"War between two camps led by Absolute, the highest realm after Supreme Being."
"War between two Absolute camps, huh? It was a little shocking." muttered Fang Lin as he circulated his gaze, "Did the impact of the war create an Energy Crystal that stuck in this land?"
"Do you guess?" yang Kai's eyebrows slightly raised.
"It's more or less like that." Fang Lin replied quickly.
"That's it, huh? But unfortunately I can't be sure if your answer is correct or not, because we and even the Guard Emperor don't yet know the reason why Imperial-level Energy Crystals appear once every thousand years on this land." obviously Yang Kai calmly.
"A thousand years? So the Energy Crystals that are on the ground right now don't appear all the time?"
Fang Lin nodded a few times and began to understand the reason why they could be here, he was also a little surprised because it was such an incredible coincidence that he was able to come to this place while they were harvesting Energy Crystals.
"Now, it's my turn to ask the question." said Yang Kai, and immediately continued, "What is the name of the style you used to eliminate your existence?"
"His nurse's name is Stealth, usually assassins who have this kind of skill" Fang Lin replied calmly.
"Stealth's? His name is unique, I just heard it for the first time..." Yang Kai held his chin, "I admit, your style is really great. The techniques of assassins are generally just hiding, while yours is eliminating perfectly."
"If indeed my Stealth style can completely eliminate me, then how are you able to detect my Qi?" asked Fang Lin curiously.
Yang Kai pointed towards his face or rather his pair of bright green pupils, "My eyes are named as the Eyes of Reality. These eyes have the ability to see all illusions and destroy them, besides that all movements of Qi as thin as anything can be seen easily through these eyes."
Fang Lin raised one eyebrow after hearing Yang Kai's reply, why is this old man before him so easy to provide valuable information?
"However, your Stealth style is able to make my Reality Eye barely feel your Qi when used to fly in the sky" Yang Kai seriously replied.
Seeing Yang Kai so seriously at each of his words made Fang Lin feel confident that the old man was truly amazed by his Stealth magic.
The two of them then chatted with each other and Fang Lin tried to pry at the information he wanted to know without trying to read his memories.
After an hour had passed, Yang Kai finally went from there to look for the Energy Crystals in the region.
As long as the search for the Energy Crystals took place, there was no one who attempted to approach Fang Lin like Yang Kai before.
A few hours later, one by one they began to stop looking for Energy Crystals and gathered near where Fang Lin was.
They chatted casually while waiting for the others to finish, some of them were silent and seemed to be chatting telepathically.
Fang Lin wasn't quite sure if they were talking about him, he then raised his head up and thought back about his choice.
On the other hand, right now Yang Kai and Han Baise were standing next to each other while looking at the endless dead land.
"Stealth's? Is that really the name of the style he used?" Han Baise felt a little suspicious after hearing the story of the old man beside her.
"I didn't believe it at first either, but after seeing the expression on his face made me not feel sure he was lying." said Yang Kai quickly.
"Then, is that skill at the level of the Universe? Given that almost all of us couldn't feel his presence." asked Han Baise, his tone still sounded doubtful.
"It should be, but let the Guard Emperor himself judge it." Yang Kai was not confident enough to justify it.
Han Baise nodded several times as she agreed with Yang Kai, the two of them no longer spoke and parted ways so as not to look suspicious if Fang Lin saw her.
