VENUS REVENGE

VENUS REVENGE
Chapters 1. Grey Night

Damon von Amstel put the napkin on the table. It was a sign to everyone that the dinner was over. All the family members stopped eating and waited for the man to say something.

“Hugo, come to the workspace!” his orders.

A young and handsome man who was sitting to his right, nodded swiftly and politely. “Good, Cake.”

Damon stood up from his chair, followed by Hugo. Next to her, a sweet woman quietly let her husband go on business talks with his grandfather-in-law.

“Time has arrived, Hugo! I can no longer tolerate your inaction.

“That agreement just ended today, Kek.” The young man explained.

“Then, there is no longer a reason for delay. Just give him a lot of money for decades of living expenses. All women love to live in luxury!” damon with a sharp look.

“I'll fix it today. Tomorrow Grandpa will get good news,” nod the young man sure.

“Good! Ihold your promise. Or---”

“I always keep my word!” Hugo cut Damon's words boldly.

“Heh!”

The old man showed an annoyed and displeased face as he shook his hands, telling his granddaughter to come out.

Hugo returned to the dining room. But there was no one there. He proceeded to the living room, where the Von Amstel family used to talk while gathering at the grandfather's residence.

“You're done? Very quickly,” comments a relative saw it appear there.

“Grandfather just asked Moreno!” sahut Hugo.

"Where is my wife?” I don't know who it was.

“I saw him go to the balcony With Sandrina,” the others replied while pointing in one direction.

“Thank you.”

Hugo goes straight from there to find Jeannette. He did find his wife standing holding a wine glass and listening to Sandrina.

“Jean!” call him. His wife looked up and his eyes asked.

“We have to go home, it's night. Moreno too long abandoned!” bring Hugo.

The woman called Jean just nodded obediently.

“Sorry, Sandrina. We have to go home,” Hugo represents his farewell wife.

“Since there's Moreno, I can't talk any longer with your wife,” complains Sandrina disappointed.

Hugo only showed a face full of regret, without answering at all. Then his hands hugged Jean's waist and guided her out of Damon von Amstel's mansion built on a coral island off the coast. It was a private island belonging to the hereditary Von Amstel family.

The husband and wife were heading for the helicopter runway. The vehicle floated after the two climbed up. They're going to Hugo's house.

“Our agreement is done as of tonight. You are free and can continue to live as you wish. Free and happy.” Hugo said that without expression. A bag with the agreement file was handed over to Jeannette.

The young woman was stunned to hear the words of the man who had been her husband for the past year.

“Please, don't do this. I know our marriage agreement is over, but I can't be far from my son.” Jean said to woo. Her tears began to fall on her pale white cheeks.

Night weather is not friendly. Lightning struck between the layers of gray clouds hanging thickly in the sky. The wind was blowing very hard and making noise all around.

“I've let you breastfeed the child some time, although grandfather has already reminded to end the marriage as soon as Moreno was born!” Hugo looked ahead, avoiding his wife's panicked and sad gaze.

“Good. You can divorce me. However, let me keep taking care of Moreno, yes. He's only been three months. She should be breastfed for at least a year. After that I went!” Jean made an offer.

“No!” firmly Hugo.

“Grandfather has made another marriage agreement for me. You know very well, grandfather is indisputable!” reject it.

Jean's tears were shed. “You can marry whomever grandfather chooses. Let me be his nanny. If you're worried that I'm going to disturb your wife, then I won't be staying at your residence. I'll come in the morning and come home in the evening, by the back road. Your new wife will never see me!” promise Jean.

It was the last hope to be able to stay together with his son Moreno.

Hugo shook his head firmly. “You know I won't dispute grandfather's orders. So go quietly. You can take everything I prepared. You can also marry again and have another child. We won't know each other again after this!” reply Hugo cold and firm.

“No! I don't want to be separated from my son. I'll take him away, rather than him living with a cruel and cold-hearted man like you!” jean shouted furiously. He had never been this angry and desperate in his life.

“You provoked my anger!” Hugo's eyes glittered as they were illuminated by the lightning that struck.

“Today I have always obeyed you, but not now! Not when you're about to take half my life. That would be tantamount to killing me slowly!” pekik Jean hysterical. His emotions were unbearable again.

“You are wrong if you want to test my patience. There are more important things than you!” Hugo's eyes darkened at night.

“If you feel like you will die from parting with him, then I better just kill you so as not to be tormented!” add Hugo coldly.

His patience is over. He had already obtained the task of marrying Frisia, the only daughter of the ruler of Oakenvalle. According to grandfather, by marrying the girl, the influence of the Von Amstel family will be strengthened and viewed by other large families in the city.

In addition, he also felt he did not violate the agreement with Jeannette. The agreement ends today. She had also let the woman breastfeed as well as nurture Moreno for two months. Hugo felt very understanding and kind.

“You can marry again, I won't bother you. But let Moreno stay with me. Please ...” Jeannette's voice returned. The makeup on her face had already worn off due to tears.

Hugo's wrath peaked as Jean continued to whine and disobey. It was very different from the attitude he had always shown all along. Roughly let go of the seat belt herself and the woman. Then, bending over and holding Jean's hand on her back, she opened the door and pushed Jean aside.

“You who asked me to be rude and cruel!”

“Do not! Please ...” Frightened, Jean pleads for her life. His hands tried to reach the heli door and his feet turned to the iron chair he was sitting on so as not to fall.

Hugo had dark eyes. Without blinking, his leg kicked Jean until the woman came out of the cabin and made the heli a little ozar. Jean's life depended only on her weak hand grip on the door of the plane that was swinging to and fro.

“Pair your belt seat, Mister!” the pilot was worried.

Only, the young man was already impatient. He moved to the chair Jean had previously occupied. Hardly hit the tiny hand that held tightly to the door leaf. Accompanied by a desperate scream, the woman fell headlong into the open sea.

The heli door was closed. Hugo closed his blurry eyes for a moment. It was like praying for Jean's kindness. A few moments later his eyes opened again and again looked at the darkness of the night with a cold expression. As if nothing happened for a moment.

The helicopter flew away.

Jean shouted his vow, accompanied by thunderbolts. “If I survive, I will avenge this. Or I'll haunt you your whole life!”
