Chapter 43. Hugo Wrong Steps

In the next few days Lennox was slowly knocked out of some business meetings that he would normally attend. Hugo did just that to warn his cousin that he was the one in power after their grandfather. He holds many positions. Even at the main company, Hugo was the managing director who could very well organize the sealing of Lennox activities.

That day Lennox came to him angrily. “Did you do this to me on purpose? This is the fourth time I have not met a client that I have managed for a long time!”

Hugo remained calm and just let the man get angry in the room.

“Are you angry and punishing me for falling in love with Shadow? I think you're very jealous! That's why you're acting unreasonable!” lennox lashed out.

“Is it not enough for you to get a noble wife? Oh ... I'm so curious to know what grandfather's reaction was, seeing you desecrate your sacred household! Would the old man change the name of his heir?” taunting Lennox with a loud voice.

“What do you mean? I was warning you to stay away from him!” hugo was upset. Issues like that can't get out of his room. It would incite the anger of his grandfather.

“What did you warn me about that. I am not a potential family heir. I'm free to choose which wife I like!” refute Lennox.

“He's not as good as you think!” hugo said he gave a reason.

“Hahaha .. Did you reject him? Is that why you accused him like that? You're getting more unreasonable, Hugo!”

Lennox came out of Hugo's room. At the door, he stopped.

“I'll repay you! So, just be careful!”

Lennox left with anger filling his heart. He was very disappointed, not expecting Hugo to be that shortsighted. His many years of hard work at the company one by one was taken over by Hugo and given to others.

“There is only one thing that can make people act unreasonable. That's when someone is in love!” muttered Lennox sure.

Lennox went to Hugo's house that afternoon. He doesn't care if Hugo gets angry or something. “Just let that petty guy get jealous,” thought he was upset.

“Shadow, has Hugo ever expressed love to you?” ask Lennox. He did not want to hide his jealousy anymore. He wanted Shadow to understand his feelings.

“No! Why are you asking that?” ask Shadow carefully.

“Because these few days he's scuttle half my job at the office,” replied Lennox.

“Maybe because you made a mistake?” tanya Shadow calmed Lennox down.

“Yes. In his eyes I was the guilty man of falling in love with you. I've been honest with him, that I love you. And that's the reply!” Lennox clapped his right fist at the left palm hard.

Shadow frowned. “Why should he be angry?” tanyanya.

“Because he's jealous! He's in love with you! Like he fell in love with his first wife!” Lennox threw a pebble in a pot of plants towards the blue lake. The lake water becomes smooth and smooth in a circle.

Shadow shook his head, not believing Lennox's conclusion. “He never showed an attitude of love, really. In fact I guess, he was a cruel master to servants. I was once locked up in a room, just for swimming in a lake at night sultry!” lamented Shadow.

“Really? Then come, come with me. You're not safe here. I suspect he killed his first wife,” whispered Lennox to Shadow who instantly made the girl stiff.

“What do you mean? You can't just accuse me like that without proof!” prevent Shadow.

“Do you think I'm the only one who suspects this? Our extended family had suspected him of doing dirty things to marry Frisia!” Lennox is back in low voice. He whispered right in Shadow's ear.

“You didn't check it?” ask Shadow. He felt very moved. Didn't think that his death remained a concern by his former brother-in-law in Von Amstel's family.

“It's not our uursan. I guess, seeing Grandpa's composure, Jean's business was already known to the old man!” ketus Lennox's.

“Oh, if only I had the ability to obey like Hugo. I would love to seize the position of the main heir of the Von Amstel family!” Lennox. He's dreaming now.

“What would you do if you were the head of the Von Amstel family?” ask Shadow to investigate.

Shadow just nodded.

“Then, how do I take over that position?” ask Shadow again.

“Kill it!” Lennox chuckled at his own jokes.

“You need expert help to do it. Can't be rash. Or everything will come back to hitting yourself."

“Shadow, be my wife, then I won't care about Hugo or the heirs anymore. I'll be satisfied with getting you,” persuaded Lennox.

Shadow refused with a nod. “You've worked hard. He can't take your job for granted, like an amateur company!”  furious Shadow.

“You must seize the position of the main heir. That way, this situation can only change, "pushed Shadow.

“How to!” ask Lennox.

“You must have a stronger heart, to be able to defeat his arrogance. Unload all the masks he has been wearing,” Shadow explained.

“But, that way, I will definitely be dealing with Grandpa!”

Lennox leaned his head against the back of the chair. That's not an easy thing. Because Damon is like an authoritarian and ruthless ruler in his palace.

“Do you need help to avenge your heartache on Hugo?” ask Shadow.

“Do you have any acquaintances like asassin?" Lennox asked Shadow in surprise.

“Hem ... such a!” answer Shadow.

Lennox was really shocked right now. Hugo's right. Shadow was not a woman that could be underestimated. “Can I meet him?” Lennox asked carefully.

“He is not an ordinary person you can easily meet!” Shadow denounced Lennox's short thinking.

“Then, please make an appointment for me. I wonder what his idea is to get rid of Hugo!” lure Lennox while growling furiously.

“If he shows up, I'll introduce you, "Shadow replied.

“How much is the payment?” ask Hugo.

"Don't Know. You can ask yourself. I'm not meddling with that!" said Shadow again.

"When will he come?" lennox.

"I don't know. Let me try to find his shadow in the market tomorrow!" answer Shadow carefully.

"In the market?" Lennox began to doubt the seriousness of Shadow. Then he laughed.

"Your flair really made me almost think you knew him!" Lennox shook his head. The man stood up.

"I had an appointment with a client this afternoon. Hopefully Hugo isn't crazy canceling this meeting either. Or I'll complain to grandpa!"

Shadow watched Lennox leave the house still with an annoyed heart.

In Shadow's heart, he was also a little annoyed. Lennox did not take his words seriously.

"If you'd agreed to kill him, I'd do it with pleasure!"
