Chapter 38. Lennox Feelings

When Frisia returned from the market, Shadow immediately confronted her. “Have you planned this?” tanyanya sharp.

“Plan what?” Frisia astonishment.

“Hey, here I am the Madam. Why are you asking as if you have been harmed? Very presumptuous!”

Frisia's shrill voice angered, making Hugo know that his wife was back. His face showed pent-up anger.

“I know you hate Mister, but do not sacrifice a child to avenge your hatred for him, then sacrifice me who knows nothing, as a scapegoat who must bear your filthy deeds!” reply Shadow bravely.

Hugo heard that. Shadow's accusation made sense to him. He had also thought the same as Shadow. So she waited for Frisia's response before she could be seen. He wanted to see the honesty of the woman.

“Yes, I hate him. I hate all of Von Amstel's family. But I'm not so crazy that I'm gonna be a little kid! Are you sane?” reply Frisia.

Shadow walked over to Frisia, with his eyes burning furiously. Until the hostess can not back down again and stick to the wall of the house. “Listen to me carefully. I'm not your enemy! So don't look for things with me! What else is trying to interfere with my work. You won't know what I look like when you're angry!” threat Shadow's.

Frisia looked at Shadow in horror. He felt that Shadow was not simple. When threatening him earlier, the one who spoke was like not the Shadow he knew was always gentle and friendly.

Hugo had no idea what Shadow was whispering. But she knew that it was a threatening sentence that made Frisia so horrified that she no longer dared to return the nanny's gaze.

“Are you going to let your wife be intimidated by that upset nanny?” ask Lennox.

Hugo snorted before coming out from the shadow of the pole. “Finally you're home too!” he said in a cold tone.

Shadow who heard Hugo's voice, retreated from his place. But his eyes still showed a hostile attitude towards Frisia. Even though the young lady did not see him, Karen had already lowered her head and fell on the floor limply.

His personal servant tried to help him wake up. Refused though. He was completely unable to resist the ferocious and terrifying Shadow aura. His body went up to the creeps. Looks like, that nanny could be just as ruthless as Hugo.

“You should have a good explanation, Frisia. Moreno still hasn't woken up from his sleep after coming home from the market with you!” said Hugo who was now standing in front of Frisia.

“What?”

Frisia's body shook violently. Now he understood why Shadow was angry indistinctly and Hugo was cold as well. His fear is real now. Whether the accusations were true or false, he had absolutely no guts to fight Hugo. His body dragged against the wall more tightly. Even his personal servant could not get close after Hugo was expelled.

Hugo calls two guards to take Frisia to his office. Then the man left while carrying a real cold aura.

Lennox came down and walked towards Shadow. “Already, I think this is just a misunderstanding. Let Hugo sort things out,” he said trying to persuade a disgruntled-looking Shadow.

“I will never forgive the man who made a child a pedestal of vengeance!” shadow said coldly.

“Especially, if it's my own son!” he added in heart.

“Why are you so angry?” ask Lennox. He looked for a seat on the sofa that led to the lakeside deck.

“Because I don't agree that someone made a child a target for revenge. Or, are you that kind of person?” accuse Shadow of being sharp.

“No! I would hate someone like that too. It was the act of a coward!” added Lennox. He saw Shadow nod and the tension that had appeared, had disappeared.

“You're worried about Moreno?” guess it.

Shadow looked at the man. Ever since he knew Lennox who was Hugo's cousin, Shadow had never known that this man was so considerate. But he still nodded in response to Lennox's question.

“Let me accompany you to look there,” take her while standing.

“But Master forbade me to there,” said Shadow doubtfully.

“We only see from the outside. Won't bother doctors and nurses,” Lennox said again. The man walked first. Shadow finally followed.

“If master is angry, how?” ask Shadow in a frightened tone.

“Let me take his anger,” said Lennox confidently.

Shadow followed behind while smiling knots. Not sure if Lennox is able to withstand Hugo's anger, if it's really angry. The cold man was extremely ruthless and a cold-blooded killer. He proved it himself.

And indeed, they just stood observing from the door of the room. Doctors periodically examined Moreno, who was fast asleep and peaceful. “Gegrah wake up, baby. I'm so worried about you. Don't leave mom,” whispered Shadow in her heart. Without feeling it, her tears fell down. The more tears, the more pain tightness and chest pain, until Shadow cried sobbing.

“God, if my son has a severe illness, just move the pain to me. Restore his smile and cheerfulness as before,” whimpered in heart.

Lennox couldn't bear to see Shadow's shaken shoulders hold back so that her cries wouldn't bother anyone. His arms were immediately clad together to hug Shadow and coax. “Cry, if it can be more soothing to you. Do not keep all the sadness in your heart. It could ruin yourself.”

Shadow's cry finally broke. Let him Lennox embrace her. He needs a shoulder to lean on now. As Lennox said, with shedding tears, the burden was slightly reduced.

At the end of the hallway. Hugo stood sculpting. His gaze lit up and was not happy to see his cousin embracing Shadow. Even if it was just showing the gentle demeanor and noble man's sympathy towards a grieving woman, he still disliked it!

“What are you guys doing here?” tanyanya cold.

Shadow was startled and immediately removed Lennox's arm from his shoulder. He backed off and wiped away the tear marks on the cheeks.

“Shadow was anxious, so I brought seeing Moreno here.”

Shadow saw that Lennox was keeping his word in charge. Hugo just showed an unhappy face. “You better rest. So, when Moreno wakes up, you can replace the doctors and nurses to look after him,” Hugo ordered.

“Good.” Shadow bowed slightly and went towards his own room, next to Moreno's room.

Lennox became a little upset. “Can't you let me get close to him? I like it!” lennox whisper.

“Huh! Then you throw it away, like you dumped a lot of other girls” Hugo's sneer wasn't happy.

“Dia different. You can see that too, right. Although low-ranking, but his soul is strong! As the Von Amstel family, you know that we must have a strong wife, so as not to be depressed!” Lennox is still not done with Hugo, but the man is talking to the doctor. He didn't want to bother anymore and left annoyed.

“I've found my dream woman. Will do anything to get it!” determination Lennox.
