Chapter 58. Finished

In order to keep her son's delicate feelings, Venus could only mumble that satisfaction in her heart. “Finally he got caught too!”

According to Venus' thinking, all of the man's criminal acts will slowly be revealed after this arrest. Chester was really good at strategy and looking for allies.

“Did Chester take Lennox with an offer to become the heir to the Von Amstel family? It doesn't feel possible. Because without the interference of anyone else, Lennox would be the sole major heir. Unless .... Hugo's death news has not been revealed!”

“Mata Venus wide widened. How could the servants and guards not know of his death?” venus did not understand.

Long wait, Chester and Lennox had not yet come out of the inner room. Room that not all family members can enter. Venus never went further than the dining room and once to Damon's den with Hugo at the beginning of their marriage.

“What makes it so long time not out?” hiss Venus impatient. He's feeling tense. How far is Damon's cellar? Venus tried to remember the coral island on which the building stood. Not too high from sea level. Probably about twenty meters from the pier, where some speed boats and luxury yachts Damon moored.

“Yah ... with that height, he can still build two underground floors safely.” Venus was convinced.

Assuming that, Venus waited patiently. Damon was taken away by helicopter by the police chief himself.

Shortly after landing the ambulance helicopter. That made Moreno and himself shocked. “Who is sick?” muttered the little boy.

One by one the medics went down and brought the gurney. Then the second gurney. And landed another hospital helicopter, accompanied by the descent of several medics. They brought the gurney again.

“How much is sick in that building?” Venus' eyes are wide open to the screen. His mouth tightly clenched, holding in fury.

Then Chester appeared, accompanying a gurney that was pushed out. Venus could not see who her father was with. Camera officers are forbidden to highlight his face.

Then came Lennox. He also accompanied one other patient. Lennox's face looks red under the floodlights. Either he is tired, is under the influence of alcohol, or holds back anger. The man was really quiet there.

Two of the patients were taken away by helicopter. Lennox accompanied both. Meanwhile, Chester instructs some people and goes back inside.

There were still two more patients coming out of the inner room. The broadcaster said it was still unable to confirm the names of those suspected of being sick from Damon's sentence in the dungeon. While they should not be reviewed inward, until the situation is safe.

In a hospital, a man who entered that morning with a large incision wound in the neck, was still unconscious. He has not escaped the crisis. A screen next to the bed detects her heartbeat.  Infusion hoses and tubes to drain blood are also attached to both arms. Next to him, his loyal bodyguard looked down sad and anxious.

Within a week, news of the raid on Damon von Amstel's residence dominated the television show. After the raid, the demands placed on him, so more and more. What else when the police check the records. Some of his enemies were also captured and killed in his atrocities.

Venus shakes her head at the news. Chester didn't say much. She only fulfills Venus' promise to Hugo, to save Hugo's mother and Frisian lover. The other was the matter of the City Lord, Baron Holloway, willing to make what kind of demands.

“Grandpa, let's swim,” take Moreno from the poolside. Nancy accompanied him to a water play in Chester's pool.

“Alright .. but not for long,” replied Chester.

Autumn strong winds blow, shaking the rows of tall cypress rods. The air that started to cool down, cooled the hearts of those who were previously filled with grudges. Happiness awaits those who are patient and strive hard.
