Chapters 37. Frisia and Lennox

That morning, Shadow's haggard face turned bright when she saw Moreno coming in with the guard who was carrying breakfast. Then the guard came out, but the door remained wide open.

“Young Master, sorry I made a mistake until punished like this. Are you okay?” ask Shadow.

As soon as she wanted to he hugged the cute little boy and spilled his longing. But, the wide-open door indicates a guard or perhaps Hugo is watching from the outside.

Moreno rubbed Shadow's disheveled face. The boy could see his eyes were swollen from crying. “So you know wrong?” tanyakanya.

Shadow shakes. “Do not know. But Master said I was wrong to swim in the lake.” Shadow.

“Say dad, you remind him of mom if swimming there,” Moreno explained.

“What?” This time Shadow was really surprised to hear it. “Is the reason so angry?” thought Shadow.

Moreno nodded with confidence. The boy believed in his father.

“I'm sorry, I don't know that.” Shadow showed a face full of regret to his son.

“Do you want to come out?” ask Moreno again.

“I want to be able to serve you again, Young Master.” Shadow looked at him with a hopeful face.

“There are terms,” says Moreno.

“What?” ask Shadow impatiently. “Tell me, I will fulfill it,” nod Shadow quickly.

“You must promise not to swim in the lake again,” replied Moreno. His eyes were full of hope, that Shadow would be willing to promise.

“The lake water is cold. It's nice to swim in summer like this,” Shadow said hesitantly.

Clearly a disappointed murat appeared in Moreno's eyes. “Then you will continue to be locked up ..” cleanly while looking down. Moreno's tears welled up and fell slowly. He is saddened if Shadow continues to be punished by his father.

Shadow did not expect that his words had made his own son sad and cry. He crouched down in front of the small boy who was looking down and rubbed the cheek.

“I promise. I will not swim there again, even if the day is hot and the water is tempting, calling me down!” he said out loud.

His hand gently wiped Moreno's tears. "Here, don't cry anymore. I'm sorry,” persuade her gently. His hands hugged the boy's back, rubbing him slowly.

“I'm sorry, it made you sad. I will obey you from now on,” Shadow's promise again. But Moreno's tears just broke. He hugged Shadow firmly.

“Please, don't leave me like my mother left me ..” she said between tears.

Shadow clearly gasped at those words. He hugged and carried his son with all his heart. “I will not leave you, unless you or your father fire me,” Shadow said clearly.

Outside, Hugo who heard such a promise felt extremely irritated. That means Shadow has cornered him. So, if one day Shadow leaves, then that means Hugo's fault. This can't be allowed. He wouldn't let his son's mind be poisoned by a lowly nanny.

Hugo walked out from behind the door frame and stood upright there. His face was fierce and ready to punish Shadow once again for the irresponsible remark.

But the sight before him had his lips locked. The two men were embracing each other affectionately. Shadow was persuading Moreno who continued to cry. The man was stunned, his annoyance was instantly gone.

“Your punishment is done!” katah.

He turned away and ordered the guards to leave his post in front of Shadow's room. Hugo smiled faintly at the sound of the happy laughter of the son and the nanny. He walked with light steps, as if his entire burden had been lifted.

Three days later, Frisia showed up. His face looks brighter. He brought a lot of groceries. Also a new personal servant. Shadow felt regretful, already worrying too much about the woman. It turns out that it was true that the servants were informed that Frisia was going home to her parents.

“This is a gift for you. Do you like it?” frisia asked Moreno. The little boy nodded.

“Thank you.” He accepted the gift politely.

Since her return, Frisia seems to have a different person. However, Shadow's observant eyes could not be lied to. The woman was hiding her sadness deeply. Maybe he doesn't want Hugo to feel big head can make him sad.

Although based on pretense, but the big house did become a little peaceful. Shadow and Frisia were able to communicate well again. And it seems that the young lady took a valuable lesson not to try to proffocate Hugo.

“I thought I was going to the store in the village. Do you want to come with Moreno?” tawar Frisia at breakfast.

The little boy looked at his father, asking for approval. “Bring the nanny with you, so you don't fuss,” Hugo's suggestion,

“Of course. Shadow, prepare after breakfast, yes.” Frisia gave the order.

Shadow turned to Moreno, making sure that the boy did indeed want to leave. Upon seeing his son nod, Shadow nodded.

It managed to change Frisia's expression by a few seconds. Then it changed again. But Shadow managed to record it in memory. That made him wary of Frisia. He didn't want his son to be in the vortex of a Frisian feud with Hugo.

“Could Hugo be aware of that, hence telling me to tag along?” inner Shadow.

An hour later they were walking in the shop. Frisia is clearly trying to take Moreno's heart. He bought a lot of toys and books for the boy. Shadow was just watching from behind.

“I'm tired,” Moreno said.

“Before we rest in the ice cream shop, how?” bargain Frisian. Moreno shook his head and reached out to Shadow. It was a sign for him to carry the child.

“We'd better go home,” Shadow said.

“There's still a lot to see there. Let him rest at the candy or ice cream shop. He'll be fine,” Frisia refused.

“You can continue shopping. I have to bring it back.”

Shadow did not press Frisia's offer. He went with a bodyguard. His son is not okay now. He was more worried about Moreno than Frisia's unusual anger was denied.

By car, they can arrive faster at home. Shadow rushed Moreno to the room. The butler looked at him in wonder.

“Kukira Young Master is not well. Please call a doctor for him,” orders Shadow fast. His legs half ran towards Moreno's room.

The butler quickly reported to Hugo who that day received a guest in the inner room. Hugo called the doctor and immediately followed to Moreno's room.

“What's up?” he asked in an accusatory tone to Shadow.

“So he said tired. But all the way back, he kept falling asleep like this,” Shadow explained. I know he's very worried. He continued to stick his lips on Moreno's forehead periodically.

“Why do you keep kissing her?” ask Hugo in wonder.

“To measure his body temperature,” replied Shadow innocently.

“Stupid basis. Use thermometer. Take it in the drawer. And wash your dirty and polluted face outside!” furious Hugo.

A small laugh was heard at the door. The two men turned their heads there and found Lennox von Amstel standing in the doorway, looking at the two panicked people fighting. Hugo and Shadow glared at him. It just makes her laugh harder.

“Where is Frisia?” ask Hugo. He didn't bully Lennox. It was strange to see Shadow return alone while the one who had invited him away was Frisia.

“She still wants to shop,” says Shadow as is.

“Hah! That woman!” furious Hugo while grinding his jaws.

It was then that Shadow knew that both Hugo and Frisia, in fact, did hate each other. “Then why did they force marriage?” The question was only in his head.

“Doctor comes!” the butler told me.

An old man, come in. Shadow stepped aside, giving him a place to check on Moreno. The man immediately examined his son closely. Hugo looked impatient and wanted to know immediately what had happened to Moreno.

“Did he eat or drink something earlier?” ask Doctor.

“Some small snacks in the market,” Shadow replied.

“You bought a snack carelessly for him?” Hugo was instantly furious at Shadow.

Shadow shakes. "I don't even have any money.”  Shadow put his hands on both pockets in his uniform. Then take out the hand while pulling and the inside. He wanted to prove that it wasn't him who bought anything for Moreno.

Hugo's face darkened. He immediately knew who always had the money to shop for unimportant things.

“Forget!” The doctor calms Hugo down ready to explode.

“Your son is really tired, he's fast asleep. I just hope there's no other ingredient in the food that triggers her to suddenly go to sleep and not wake up even while we're shaking her body,” the doctor said.

“That means what, Doc?” tanya Shadow wants clarity.

“He was sleeping, not fainting. But I think sleep is a little unusual. Because, even when we shake his body, too. He is not disturbed.”

“Is that a danger?” shadow asked quickly, ahead of the question Hugo wanted to ask.

“We must monitor. Does he usually sleep at this hour?” ask the doctor again.

“No! Usually he sleeps after lunch,” Shadow explained.

“As far as the initial inspection, the condition is good. Let's just wait for its development,” break up that doctor.

“What if something happens to him?” ask Hugo worriedly.

“I will check his blood sample to find out other things,” replied the doctor. A needle and a small tube were removed.

Shadow thought hard, to remember what food had been eaten by Moreno. His face hardened thinking that someone had evil intentions for his son.

“You why?” Lennox brought her body closer to Shadow and asked in a soft voice.

“I was thinking about who would dare to do evil to such a small child. If I find it, I'll crush it to breadcrumbs!” furious Shadow.

Hearing that, Lennox's laughter returned. Hugo immediately glared angrily at him. Forcing Lennox to swallow his laughter with great difficulty.
