Chapter 51. Lennox's

Chester nodded at the man's complaint. “So this happened since your father? Then you'll just shut up? Do you feel like what you've been receiving all this time is enough? I don't think you're too ambitious.”

Chester said in a relaxed tone. But it hurts Lennox's ears. Because what Chester said wasn't entirely wrong. He had not been too worried about his position. Because his life is comfortable, have a good job and more than enough income.

“Grandpa is a very cruel person. Hugo followed in his footsteps. Not long ago he acted arbitrarily taking some of my work and diverting it to others without saying what my mistake was,” Lennox said.

“What is the reason for doing that?” ask Chester in wonder.

“Before I told him I loved Shadow and wanted to propose to her. Tomorrow, most of my work is transferred to others!” answer Lennox.

Venus and Chester looked at each other in surprise. Then you'll keep quiet after she steps on your pride?” insist Chester.

“I thought, I'll complain it's nati to grandpa.” Lennox wasn't even sure it would work, because in his eyes, Hugo was Damon's favorite.

“I think you should show me a little bit of your fangs, Lennox. He also arbitrarily fired me for no apparent reason!” pissed Venus.

“Have ... Even if you love the child, if the father doesn't like you, don't force it,” Chester said.

“I just want to say that Hugo is indeed arrogant!” Venus explained her point of view.

Lennox was silent at what Venus had said. Hugo was arrogant. And throughout his memory, Hugo's attitude was like that. Cold, short and flat talk. His gaze pierced, and

rarely smiling.  It was very different from her ecpressive and cheerful self.

“Venus, do you have any idea how to show resistance to Hugo's arbitrariness?” ask Lennox.

“It must be from yourself. You have to define your heart first. Want to continue oppressed, or fight!” Chester answered.

“If he finds out you're I'm inviting dinner, won't he get to bully you more?” venus Fishing.

Lennox. Right, he doesn't know why Hugo doesn't like Shadow. This woman was very kind and loved her son. If Hugo finds out he's coming to see Shadow and finds out who this girl really is, it's possible he'll be kicked out of the company. If that happens, let alone the thought of being accepted by Venus' father. He might not even be able to support himself anymore!

“Kurasa ... It's time to fight Hugo!” Lennox.

“But I don't know how yet,” he added quickly.

“Do not go directly against it. You're going to lose!” Chester shakes.

“Then how?” Lennox awaits Chester's explanation.

“Take your grandfather's attention. For example by being close to a noble girl. Take the girl to a family meeting. Then Damon will begin to notice you and make an alternative for a new heir. That would be a huge blow to Hugo, without you touching it!” obviously Chester.

“You're right. However, I will not play around with other women anymore. I want to introduce Venus to grandfather,” said Lennox after thinking about Chester's suggestion.

Venus shakes. “We are not nobles, Lennox,” said Venus helplessly.

“It's okay. I want to be honest with Grandpa. After all, your family is not a family that can be underestimated,” said Lennox full of determination.

“Well, you can try it that way. Then see if Damon's paying attention to you or not.  I'll let Venus help you, but if that doesn't work, then you better find another noble girl.” Cheter emphasized that.

“Thank you, Mr. Moriarty. Next week, there's a family meeting at grandfather's place. Can I invite Venus to come there?” tanyanya politely.

Chester looked at Venus. “Are you ready? If you mind, you can still refuse.”

“Hemm .. I'll help you this time, Lennox. But don't tell me that we have any relationship first. It will only make you difficult, if your grandfather finally rejects me!” Venus says the terms.

“I mean it will really get rid of him from the main line of heirs. It's been enough of his arrogance all this time!” Lennox is determined.

Late last night Lennox got out of the house. And his heart filled with hope. His determination is now round. He felt more challenged to get Venus

The following week, Lennox's luxury car came to pick up Venus and bring her home. They're going to dinner at Damon's. Venus can't wait to see her son there.

“Are you tired?” greet Lennox at the door.

“Slightly,” Reply Venus. His hand greeted Lennox's outstretched hand and got out of the car.

The man took him to his mansion which was no less luxurious. Lennox walked happily and was full of smiles. They arrive in a bright living room overlooking the front yard of the house.

A waiter came quickly and delivered a drink to Venus. They probably realized how his master was very happy with the woman. Then it could be that it was their new mistress candidate.

“Berindah first. I have to clean myself,” saying Lennox with a heavy heart.

Venus nodded with a smile that could not be separated from her beautiful face. He sat back without hurry. His goal was to accompany Lennox this time just to be able to meet Moreno. He will wait patiently.

The night had just fallen when the helicopter that picked up arrived. Both leave. Lennox sat proudly beside the gracefully dressed Venus.

“What if I am not accepted later?” Venus invokes the heart of Lennox.

“Then, we go home and have dinner somewhere else,” replied Lennox without thinking.

 Venus laughed. But then he nodded in agreement to the idea. “Alright, if this doesn't work, then I'll come alone to Hugo's residence and take my son!” venus in the Heart.

They arrived there shortly after Sandrina arrived. The woman was a little surprised to see Venus. “Have we met before?” sandrina asked after Lennox's introduction as Venus Moriarty.

“Ah .. My face is very market. No wonder it can be similar to the others,” reply Venus. Then Lennox laughed.

“Some time ago, I had heard how beautiful Mr. Moriarty's daughter was. It's just that, it's been a while no one has talked about it either. And now you're sitting in front of me. I have to admit, their stories are not exaggerated!” praise Sandrina who is always sweet-mouthed.

Venus did not answer with words. He just smiled listening. Then several other Von Amstel families also arrived. And as always, Lennox will be the last to arrive.

His eyes glared for a while, noticing Shadow sitting beside Sandrina.

“Ah Hugo, you just arrived. Let's meet Lennox's lover, Venus Moriarty!” call Sandrina cheerful.

Frisia and Moreno turned their heads, and unexpectedly Moreno immediately ran over.

“Shadow! Miss you. Why did you quit your job? Are you really Big Uncle's girlfriend? You can come home sometime with Big Uncle!” moreno shouted happily.

Venus laughed widely and stretched out her two hands to receive the embrace of her beloved son. The two people were so happy that Hugo was stunned. He could see the woman's eyes glazed over before shutting her eyes tightly. “What is she crying?” thought.

“Yes, later Big Uncle will take him to your house. You should call her Big Aunt from now on,” Lennox said in a loud voice. Those words addressed him to Hugo who remained standing in his place. As if not affected at all by the excitement just now.

“Oh, did I miss any good information? Looks like you guys are very happy!” Damon von Amstel. The atmosphere instantly became silent.

“Grandfather, I introduce Venus Moriarty.”

Lennox greeted Damon and whispered. “I'm chasing him.”

Venus, who was standing next to Moreno, refused to let go of her hand, bowing respectfully. “Goodnight, Mr. Von Amstel,” how polite.

“Moriarty? You're Moriarty's daughter, retired soldier?” ask Damon.
