VENUS REVENGE

VENUS REVENGE
Chapter 34. Tricks Frisia

Damon's eyes immediately found Moreno sitting in a chair of his own. Behind him sat Shadow who was ready to serve his needs. Shadow leaned over Moreno and whispered.

“Looks like you should pay your respects to the oldest. Go ...”

The whisper was strong enough to be heard by Damon who was also walking towards his great-grandson. He slightly glanced at Shadow as he continued walking.

Before Damon spoke, Moreno had already jumped up and slashed out while extending a hand for hugging. “Grandpa!”

The old man was surprised, but his smile grew wider receiving Moreno's warm treatment. Unlike the cold Hugo, at least, in front of all the family members, he still showed his warm feelings to Moreno. The great-grandson he dreamed of gave him a warm hug for a while before patting his shoulder.

“You're taller and healthier than the last time I saw you,”.

“She likes to swim and eat regularly,” this time it is Hugo who adds.

“I see a new person here,” Damon said as he stared at Shadow.

Shadow immediately stood up and bowed respectfully. “I babysitter Young Master Moreno, Big Master.”

“Oh?” Damon just nodded his head, then greeted the rest of the family and talked.

Lennox, who was sitting with the family, occasionally glanced at Shadow with his eyes. “Hey, you keep glancing at that nanny. Are you interested in him?” one of his cousins asked.

“Although in simple clothes without makeup, she already looks naturally beautiful. Can you imagine if she was dressed up?” lennox said without taking his eyes off Shadow.

“But she's just a babysitter!” blame someone.

“Didn't Hugo's previous wife also be a commoner? Look at his son, so handsome!” Lennox did not run out of ideas to raise the value of Shadow in the eyes of his cousin brothers..

“I think you're right. Ordinary people tend to be obedient and respectful of their husbands. I remember Jeannette's obedience to Hugo. And Hugo's attitude doesn't cover up if he loves his wife. Can you imagine, a man as cold as Hugo, falling in love with a simple woman!” others chimed in.

Lennox looked back at his brothers. “What does that mean you support me to approach him? It has been a very long time since my wife committed suicide because she was distressed by grandfather rules!” grunts with low voice.

“If you continue to do as you please, then there will be no chance for you to become grandfather's heir!” the others whispered right into Lennox's ear. Made the man silent for a moment.

Shortly after dinner began. And since Shadow was neither a family member nor a servant, he was forbidden to enter. Moreno's food was handed over to the waiter for delivery. While he sat outside the dining room, prepare if Moreno calls.

As he remembered, the dinner would also discuss various family business matters. In front of everyone, Damon was seen as a good head of the family and was willing to listen to the grievances of his grandchildren. Tap Venus knows, personally Damon will call and rebuke anyone who is not pleasing in his heart.

He remembers the night before Hugo threw him into the sea. Her ex-husband was called in specifically. While talking to Sandrina, his cousin-in-law asked, 'Did Hugo make a mistake, so he was called grandfather?' Jean doesn't know that Damon's calling is what darkens Hugo's eyes and tries to kill him.

“You asleep? Young Master calls you!”

Shadow was startled as the Frisian personal servant poked his arm to wake up.

“What?” ask again.

“Young master called you earlier,” said the waiter in a low voice. He also sat there, waiting for Frisia to call him.

Shadow got up from the chair and looked inside the dining room. Looking around for Moreno, waiting for the boy to call once more.

A servant came out with an empty bowl. “You are forbidden to peek and eavesdrop!” scold him with a sharp tone.

“Private servant Madam, said that the young master called me, earlier,” Shadow explained.

“I've been five minutes inside. Nobody calls you!” The servant's eyes stared meaningfully.

Shadow returned to his seat and immediately faced the forties woman.

“You're actually too old to be a waitress. You don't have enough activity, so you still want to design a joke to trap others!” kecam Shadow's.

“What do you mean? I don't understand,” reply the woman.

“You know, I've heard people talk about karma. A person who intends or does evil, then the crime will return to him worse!”

The man looked at Shadow furiously. “Do you threaten me?” ask without restraint. The sound of conversation in the dining room instantly became silent. The woman paled, while Shadow pretended not to see her.

In the dining room, Frisia's face went pale. He recognized the voice of his servant.  Hugo also knew who was troublemaking outside. “Get him off the streets!: the order is firm. No matter the vibration of the wife's body beside her.

Two of Hugo's bodyguards standing guard right in front of the dining room entrance, had received orders. They immediately pulled the woman away from there. The sound of protest cries rang out loudly, making the eating event tainted. Shadow continued to sit quietly waiting. He could imagine the grim look on Damon's face that was suffocating the entire room.

While waiting. Shadow thought. Is it possible that the waiter took the initiative himself to trap him? Or on his master's orders? Later Frisia seemed emotional and impatient, even like forgetting that Shadow had the main task of looking after Moreno, not being his conversation partner!

“What did Frisia hold a grudge against me because yesterday was not willing to accompany her to chat?” thought Shadow.

Damon came out of the dining room. Hugo and Frisia followed into Hugo's study. After the three passed, Shadow got up from his seat and tried to look inside, just in case Moreno needed his help.

Sure enough, the boy was being held by Sandrina out of the room. “Shadow!” call Moreno happy. His body jumped.

“Ya, Young Master.” Shadow approaching. “What do you need now? Are you happy?” asked Shadow with a carefree expression.

“Yes! But I'm tired,” he replied.

“Alright, let's rest in room.” Shadow reached out to take her away. Moreno immediately greeted him and wanted to move on.

“Give her good night first,” whispered Shadow teach.

The little boy turned to face Sandrina. “I'm going to sleep, Auntie. Good night,” she said with an adorable little boy's voice.

“Oh, Dear ..” Sandrina crouched down to be on par with Moreno. “... If your mother knew you were this cute and smart, she would be so happy up there.” Sandrina hugged Moreno warmly.

The boy wanted to refuse, but seeing Shadow's nod and smile, he let his aunt hug for longer.

With a smile, Moreno waved at Sandrina. The woman replied to him. “You made me miss your mother who was always warm.”

Shadow could hear Sandrina's words. He bowed a little before passing. There is a haru in his heart. Remembering his brief friendship with that poor woman. "May you have your happiness, Sandrina," he hoped inwardly.

In the room, Shadow cleansed Moreno's body so she could sleep comfortably. “Are you calling me in the middle of the dinner?” ask Shadow.

“No,” Reply Moreno. “Why?”

“It's okay. I fell asleep a little. Afraid you're calling me but inaudible,” Shadow replied. He enveloped the child to be comfortable in the cold air.

“I want a story,” pinta Moreno.

“Good, I'll read you a story.” Shadow chose several children's story books. It seems like almost all of the children's reading collections in the house were finished being read to his son. He had to buy the others when there was a chance to get out of the house.

Two hours passed. Shadow fell asleep beside Moreno who was holding her. A book opened, closing his chest. The two slept so well they didn't realize Hugo was coming to check.
